Better to avoid this hotel and to find another one in the region. Hotel and room are not clean.

We chose Sunday Hotel & Spa Wismar because of its spa facilities. Unfortunately, I believe the hotel should remove the word "Spa" from its name. The hotel advertises a pool, three saunas, a steam bath, and treatments. In reality, only the pool was open. Two saunas and the steam bath were closed, and the only open sauna was around 40°C. Reception told us they didn't have staff to turn it back on because the switch had gone off. The rooms are outdated, with old carpets throughout. The restaurant closes at 20:00, and dinner reservations are expected from 17:00, which is surprisingly early for a holiday hotel. Service was disappointing. I waited about 15 minutes for the night receptionist because she was outside smoking, only to be told they had no extra pillows. The biggest concern was safety. At around 03:45 the fire alarm evacuated the entire hotel. There was no visible hotel staff directing guests, no assembly point, no communication, and no evacuation procedure. Firefighters and police arrived about 15 minutes later, and thankfully it was a false alarm. Guests were allowed back only after the fire officer cleared the building. A receptionist later told me this had happened many times before, and the hotel manager was not present during the evacuation. A very disappointing stay with misleading spa facilities, poor service, and serious concerns about guest safety.
