Comfort Inn Harriman

I stayed here with my kids because my AC went out at my house and it took 2 days to repair. I had to take them to a nearby hotel. It’s overpriced for what you get. There’s no storage space for your clothes in the room, the room door didn’t shut all the way you had to force it shut, and the key card you had to try so many times for it to work. The pool was dirty with hair all in it really bad. Clumps of hair. Around the toilets in the bathroom were dirty. I normally stay at a holiday inn so I guess I just had higher expectations.

Always a good stay here. I was in town from Michigan to visit family. The new deck furniture around pool was very nice, I recommend they add some small tables to complete the comfort. Also a hot tub would be great...just saying.

Good location right off the interstate, but watch your head when entering. They should nickname it Pigeon Heaven as there's tons on the roof and bird poop everywhere as you enter. The spikes on the roof are not keeping them from roosting there. It said the room had a mountain view, but it was more like a hill with a house on it that faced directly towards my window so I kept the shade closed. The bathroom was clean and stocked with the exception of the tissue box, which was empty. The bed was comfortable and the TV is huge. The hot breakfast wasn't very good at all so I skipped that on the second day. The lady taking care of it was very nice. The eggs must have been powdered, so not much could be done about that. The sausage was ok, but the biscuits were almost hard as rocks and next to impossible to cut thru with plastic utensils, so 95% of it went in the trash. The parking is tiered with about five or so handicapped spots by the door. The rest of the parking is on the lower tier and accessed by either a short staircase or up the driveway. If you do need handicapped parking and don't get there early enough for those spots you'll have to navigate what I described on foot if you're by yourself. I was out much of the day and came back mid evening only to find that a bad storm had passed through and all cell service was out. No texting or phone calls. The night clerk was nice enough to let me use the desk phone to let home know I arrived back to the hotel. Very kind of her.

Everything was good . I only didn’t like the strong strong air freshener at the front desk and hallways . It wasn’t terrible smell it was just too strong . Everything else was good . Nice clean pool as well. There was a wonderful view from the pool.

Nice to have a pool and workout room. Staff was very nice and there was a great slection for breakfast.

Good: The guy at the front desk was so nice. The bed was comfy. The water pressure was excellent. Bad: The pool was closed already. The parking lot had just been paved so you couldn’t get close enough to unload lots of bags. The lady filling breakfast items was a total wench. She huffed and puffed and heavy-sighed at everything she did, she slammed cabinets, she threw something in the trash right behind some man’s head, and didn’t acknowledge our “good morning” or our “thank you”. Not nice.

Congested parking

Great clean place. Not ideal for fishing tournaments. Not enough room for boat parking. Have to unhook and no room to rehook in the morning and pull out of spot. Not enough power hook ups to charge boats.

Friendly staff, very clean, quiet room. The breakfast was very nice with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and more. Easy check-in and checkout.

Ants in our room on the 2nd floor. Moldy smell as soon as you open the door to our room. Missing ceiling tiles in the hallway. Strong scent throughout building. Awkard front desk staff at checkin - barely spoke and announced our room number instead of showing it to us...that is a huge safety risk.

We were travelling though and this was a convenient stopover. I dont care for the divided highway, but its not too bad to get into. Hotel staff was very friendly. The room was really spacious. Clean. Lots of plugs and lighting. The bathroom didnt have a fan, so that was a downside. But thats really my only complaint.

Room was decent , much better than expected did not like the room view as it looked out on the overhang of the entry and about 10,000 nails to keep birds from roosting on any of the beams so it was not a pleasant view

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. When you enter a hotel lobby and it smells good, you know you’re off to a good start. The breakfast and coffee is hot and fresh and the coffee/tea is available 24/7. The bathrooms are always clean and the beds are always comfy. The Wi-Fi handles heavy traffic well, like videos. This hotel is just a perfect place to stay.

Paid a little more than some of the other hotels in the area because of the reviews but would stay somewhere else the next time. The bed comfort wasn’t quite there and our room was right next to the elevators so there was lots of noise. Property was clean outside and breakfast was available and free. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful

Good for the star rating. Small bathroom… bed not as comfortable… but ok for 1 night. Safe area.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I wanted to purchase the mattress.. this is a very small town and I was grateful to find such great accommodations.

Nice hotel clean neat only problem was the WIFI was useless, had to pay for a stronger signal, and what they consider as basic was only 10MBPS.

Property is nice, unfortunately we were on the road side of the hotel and the trains go buy VERY often! Request a room on the back side of the hotel. Breakfast was okay, maybe 3 stars. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Would stay again except get a room on back side of hotel.

Highly recommend! We only stayed one night driving through TN. Front desk attendant Patty was very kind and professional. Our room was super clean and had comfortable bedding. Very clean bathroom. A quiet stay. Breakfast was a good spread and delicious. Would definitely stay here again

This would have been a 5 star review except......while I was sleeping, someone tried to enter my room with a door key!!! When they couldn't get past the bar lock, they left. I just about had a stroke. 10 minutes later someone pounded on my door announcing they were the desk clerk, I refused to open the door (it was midnight). I called down to the desk after she left and the desk clerk apologized and told me she rented the room to someone who couldn't get past the flip lock. Gheez, don't you think they should have known they had already rented it for the night, and God forbid if I hadn't had the flip lock on the door, some other couple would have walked right in on us sleeping. So....if you go there, just know to use the flip lock to prevent a disaster.

The staff is always attentive and helpful especially in the breakfast area. The staff helping with check-in and check-out are always gracious and kind. It's our third time visiting the area and our third time staying at Comfort Inn In Harriman. We're looking forward to our next stay there.

Staff could have been a bit more friendly. Stayed 4 nights and had to request bed make up and fresh towels. 2nd requested seemed like a huge bother.

Nice quiet hotel.. Lots of food choices in area. Our room looked out at the road and the beautiful mountains. We also looked down on a train track with a train that runs nearly every hour.. When awake we could hear the train but it was not loud and never bothered us .. I’m a light sleeper but it never disturbed my sleep.. Actually we enjoyed watching the train!!

It was quiet. It was clean. It was rather isolated yet close to facilities. The staff was friendly and attentive. Very happy with our choice.

Stayed for 5 nights while in area for business, The property is convenient to Rt. 40 and area restaurants. The location is right across the highway from a quite active freight railroad and the trains will be heard at all hours. The breakfast was decent although the items are the same daily. Would stay again if in the area.

Room was clean though there was an odor at the door but not in the room itself. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with lots of pressure. Clean linens. I liked that the wall HVAC was controlled by a digital thermostat on the wall. TV had lots of channels. The breakfast was just ok: powdered eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, and several other choices. The coffee was always bitter. Staff very friendly and always working! Would stay again.

Very clean Hotel very surprising for a small town , visiting my fiance family. Breakfast was good, standard comfort inn breakfast. Moved us quickly when our heat was not operational. Short drive from fast food stores and Walmart just in case you forget essentials. Housekeeping during our stay was very good.
