It was safe and quiet, the only problem was the remote for the tv didn’t work and all they did was switch the batteries around in the remotes

Was clean, beds were good, and kitchenette was useful.

Clean. Looked taken care of. It also had a small stove - we didn't use it but its handy if you want to save a few dollars on food if you are staying a few days.

Tv n phone didn't work sofor day of stay, I changed rooms. Will see how things are tonight.

The room is not just dirty it's filthy the kind of Filth that no one could look at and not know it was filthy. The internet won't hook up to my computer the remote for the TV is missing so there's no volume control the fridge was so dirty I didn't want to put any food into it so I'm still using my cooler. The whole first floor except for the room I'm in is family of the woman at the front desk and their kids are running up and down the road screaming their lungs out at 11:30 at night. No one's doing a damn thing. This is by far the worst let me repeat that the worst Motel I have ever stayed in not only is it dirty but the service is ridiculous and I would never recommend this even to my worst enemy it's so disgusting

This is a dive hotel at its finest!! We booked 2 rooms! The rooms smell like alcohol. The thermostats were broke in both rooms, we were hot ALL night due to not being able to turn the heat down. AND the windows are broken, so we could not open them. Tvs do not work in either room. There was no cutlery or dishes in one room and no cups in the other. I will say, the tub was decent enough to have a relaxing soak.

I tend to book motels when I travel with my dog as it’s easy to get in and out for potty breaks, etc. We booked two motels this last week. The first was stellar. Clean, updated, friendly. I mention this because it was the same price as this motel, which was none of those things. When I checked in, the front desk person said (a direct quotes) “we have nice rooms, but you don’t get one because you have a dog.” I didn’t fuss about it because we just needed a place to crash for the night. She went on to say it was a non smoking room and charged me a damage deposit (expected). We went to the room and it was awful. It reeked on smoke and wasn’t clean. The light fixture was just a bare bulb. The shower curtain was gone. The toilet paper roll holder was absent. We were left with one, half-full roll of toilet paper and a few hand towels & cloths. No bath towels. The AC didn’t work, not did the bathroom fan. The place doesn’t look awful online. You expect basic, but not unclean and broken. Avoid!

This is a good budget motel. The rooms could use a fresh paint job and some minor fixing up, but it was clean and the beds are comfortable. There’s decent wi-fi, and TV, and if you’re not spending a whole lot of time there, it’s all you need.

You get what you pay for just for somewhere run down and not overly clean think it would be a bit cheaper and a bit friendlier staff. Also bring you own supplies very limited bathroom supplies and no hair dryer. Multiple lights didn’t work in the room although it wasn’t an issue for us. Handy exterior room doors and was close to the place we needed to go. We required a freezer so it was handy to have a kitchette.

My experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment of check-in, it was evident that this establishment does not uphold basic standards of cleanliness and customer service. The room I was provided with was in an appalling state of cleanliness. The linens were stained with urine, the floors and bathroom were dirty, and despite booking a non-smoking room, there was a pervasive smoke odor. Furthermore, there were broken fixtures and malfunctioning amenities throughout the room, indicating a lack of maintenance. The noise level was intolerable throughout my stay, making it impossible to get any rest. Whether it was due to thin walls or inconsiderate guests, the constant disruption was unacceptable. Additionally, there were instances where EPS were called, further adding to the discomfort. The customer service at Chateau Motel was severely lacking. Staff were indifferent to my concerns and seemed disinterested in addressing any issues. When I raised the issue of the unclean linens with the front desk staff, instead of rectifying the situation, I was handed sheets to change myself. During check-out, when I brought up this issue again, the staff member became defensive, falsely claiming that I had offered to change the sheets myself. This lack of accountability and professionalism further exacerbated my dissatisfaction. Overall, my stay at Chateau Motel was nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly advise anyone against staying here, even with the low rates.

It was a good place to stay for a few days. Well kept and clean. It is an older motel but I was surprised by how well kept and clean it was. The staff were all friendly. The location for me was excellent. The area around the motel is in transformation from older building to new commercial building and restaurants. I will definitely stay again. For the price, it was a very good deal.

The front signe it says clean and quiet and that they won awards. After seeing how dirty the room was, I found it odd when they wanted $100 cash for a damage deposit.. witch i refused. Goes to show who the patrons of this motel are. Stains on sheets, any flat surface had a layer of grime on it, the wall around the light switches and door nobs hadnt been cleand ever. Missing covers for electrical outlets. The Tv speakers were shot. The window for the room had a broken screen and a lock that i had to jimmy rig to work. It wasnt just the room that was dirty. Out side in the parking lot was a compleat pig sty. It seems they had long term tennants living at the motel possibly working there part time. They had furnature dragged out onto the only piece of grass around and it was their permanent hangout. Radiating from this hang out was tons of food garbage, cigarette butts, and empty beverage containers. Rib bones, watermellon rinds, wrappers.. it was all there. Oh and they were loud. Dont be fooled by the pictures on the web site. This place is unsanitary inside and out.

I read the reviews and assumed the bad experiences were exaggerated. They were not. Rooms are scuzzy, blood and brown stains on the linen and towels. The amount of hair on and under every linen was absurd, even in the fridge and freezer! The surface of the furniture has bacteria cultures thriving and booger goblins are visible. Me and my wife didn't take off our shoes as the floor was equally disgusting. Bathroom exhaust fan didn't work either but there was a complimentary condomfor us. As it was our first time there we were told we would pay $50 not the standard $70. Upon booking out this was not the case and they shafted us an additional $50 from the damage deposit. Just down right dirty and an unpleasant experience all in all. If i were expedia i wouldn't associate my name with this business.

Disappointed in the area, rooms need some cleaning and updating. Carpets were stained, staining on the lamp shades pretty nasty.

The room was dirty. The air conditioner and the heater were dirty. They were not clean. We could not get the door open as it was stuck and had to help from a staff member to help open it. The window was filthy. Looked like it hadn’t been washed and cleaned in a long time. All you could see was streaks and film on the window. I found it very unsanitary. The outside of the building had garbage strewn all over the ground. We only stayed there overnight as we were very tired but left early in the morning. The room was not as expected S was pictured on the website. Very disappointed. Not sure if we will use Expedia again because of this unpleasant experience.

Very old rug,furniture. Blanket had cigarette holes. Unusual shower head that had no instructions. Approached by an unsafe looking individual at the parking of the motel,it was night time. He was at the same parking in the morning in "under influence" condition. Breakfast was ok,although I've never seen a croissant cut by slices. Other than that ,clean,toiletries provided,front desk polite.

Room was not what I expected. The bed side light didn’t work, it is extremely dated and could use some updates. I was nervous about the locks not being secure enough. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.

TV was very limited - no volume control, no sports Reading light between beds was non-functional We spilled a drink on the carpet and mopped it up with a towel - when finished, the towel was black from filth

I did book cheap I know but police were on property while I was there. The property was poorly renovated. The room was very small. The washroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Old motel, small room, small TV, bathtub was scratched and look really old (1970’s). No place to eat within walking distance. I will not return.

The location was good. However, my experience with property staff was not good. Room size was too small.

Front desk agent so friendly

Well for starters put a deposit down on the room . But the deposit was never returned . Staying in town for the night to fly out at 4 am . Front desk wasn’t open and said they would give back the deposit . But not in my account . Pretty shady of a hotel .

This place is in serious disrepair. The room smelled horrible, wasn't clean, there was (dog?) poop in front of and all up the stairs to the second floor. Got to the room and the key card wouldn't open the door. The owner sent his child up to help with the door and after 10 minutes he finally got the door open. As he was leaving I locked the door and tried to open it with my keycard and it wouldn't open AGAIN. I went back to the front desk and asked for my money back and they tried to tell me I had to learn the "technique" to open the door. NO I DO NOT! YOU NEED TO FIX THE FAULTY LOCK BEFORE YOU TRY TO RENT IT TO CUSTOMERS! They also insisted on a CASH deposit rather than doing a credit card hold for deposit which isn't right. I demanded a refund and left to find somewhere else to stay.

Their staff was really rude. Even we made a reservation they keep telling us we didnt have reservation and they look like they were lazy, when we had conversation about reservation they talk like they want us to leave. The room is okay but its kinda dirty, they dont give you enough tower and tissue was empty from the start.

The room was not at all like the photos on line. We did not stay and checked out. As we were loading the vehicle. About 1/2 dozen police vehicles showed up, got out with guns drawn including assault style rifles to perform some duties. When we inquired as to whether this was a safe place to stay we were told it wasn’t. This confirmed our decision to check out.

As I’m checking in a guest is asking to change rooms because her partner passed away in the room. They didn’t accommodate her. There were homeless people everywhere, sketchy sketchy place.

The room had a hole in the floor. It was however warm. I couod not complain about that. The staff were very nice people. I didnt have any of the breakfast. It was the usual. The room was tiny.

When i first arrived, id not realized that there was no stores or restaurants within walking distance. Getting into the room, i quickly noticed bad odor and quite dirty walls and items to use. I promptly said id only be taking 1 night instead of 2. The male owner said it was fine and he'd reverse the 1 night. When unpacking and trying to organize myself for the nights stay, there was no hangers or rod to hang clothing, the fridge was terribly dirty on handle and seal 9f door. There was no coffee maker or tea and drink...the bathroom was with cigarette stains everywhere. The place to put towels was rusty and small. And only 1 set of towels. Breakfast was bruzed apples from neighborhood stret lines trees and said to be organic! CAR RENTAL next door had continuous 24 hour servalance that had record8ng that went off telling how you were to leave the premises, when even wind blew leaves on adjacent tree. Late check out of 3 was to be 3 pm yet my room was only cleaned at 5pm amd didn't receive face cloth and excesoriies
