I am not a picky person but I was so disappointed with this place and it negatively impacted our time in Barcelona. Check in was very inconvenient, as we arrived when no one was on site and had to pay for an expensive taxi to pick up the keys. The room was not as described and sleeping arrangements were uncomfortable. More generally, the place had the feel of a prison. The rooftop pool hours were very limited. Once we were able to access it, we saw it was seriously neglected. My child swam anyway and got terribly sick. When I reported the issue I got a brush off twice, with staff insisting that no one else had complained. I paid three times less at other places in Spain and had a far more pleasant experience.

A convenient location in El Poblenou quartier in Barcelona, relatively close to the not so crowded Bogatell beach. Walking distance to beach, pedestrian area of the quartier and Westfield Glòries Mall. Near by metro (underground) station. Plenty clear communication to the fact is no attendance at the reception in between 18:00 and 22:00 and easy to adjust your plan according to this. Decent amenities and friendly personnel. Access to the roof pool a bonus ( will be great if available for longer hours in the evening) Low cleaning schedule is great for chill holiday time.

I would not call this a hotel. There are no towel changes, nor sheets. 4 people had to share same towels for 1 week. The trash from the room had to be removed and walked across the street after check out, failure to do so, would result in a deposit charge, because apparently cleaning person doesn't take trash out. The hotel is close to the ocean, which is what we were looking for. The pool idea is cool, but tiny.

Schöner hoher Raum. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Bad nicht ganz so sauber. Keine Reinigung während der 6 Tage. Dafür kann man selbst Wäsche waschen. Sehr ruhige Umgebung, nur anderen Gäste waren zu hören.

They charge $8 “tourist” fee per person. Make sure you get there at the times they ask, other wise, like they said, you will have to wait OR go to another location to check in. There was rat poop on one of the mattresses, one of the tv’s didnt work, one of the showers didnt have a closing door so the water wouldn’t come out, the place took over two hours to warm up, and you have to take out the trash. The only positive I found was the location. Close to La Sagrada Familia and other must sees… didn’t have to pay for parking bc i was lucky both nights and found free parking… other wise, it would have been an additional $20 euros

L’hôtel nous a attribué un appartement en sous sol avec plein de cafards à la sdb et dans la chambre. Puis les escaliers n’étaient pas sécurisés pour les enfants. Et le pire c’est qu’ils m’ont prélevé la caution de 350€ alors que nous avons rendu le lieu dans un parfait état. Je dois maintenant faire toute une procédure pour demander la restitution de cette caution.

So many things were bad during the stay, but the most disgusting thing is this. I saw small flies here and there, and wandering where it comes from, and found out that it was from the open ceiling of the open loft. I checked it by standing on the counter top, and found a lot of garbage on the loft ceiling including used paper plate with food stain on. As result, I stayed jail cell with garbage next to my bed. Very disappointed and disgusting. I chose this property because I had very good experience with DerbyHotels Collection, and trusted their management, but this property proved me wrong. It was totally unwanted experience in Derby Hotels.

Everything was just okay. Everything was close by. Public transportation, attractions were easy to get to. Great customer service. The only thing I would like them to consider is changing the beds! The bed/mattress were super uncomfortable. Mattresses were cheap and super old and dirty under the clean sheets

Very rude guy at the front desk, the apartment isn’t suitable for a family with small kids. Everything is open so there is no privacy to change if the bathroom is occupied. No locks on bathroom just sliding door. Area is okay it was easy to take the bus from there.

We were very disappointed with this stay. The check in experience was a true nightmare. Staff was very rude, and apparently we had to go to another location almkat 30 minutes away to do the check in. The apartment was not the cleanest one. They charge you extra for fresh towels, and they expect you to take out the trash yourself otherwise they will charge you for this also. I would not recommebd anybody to stay here.

Problems with check-in. We arrived around 7:00 PM, but the reception was closed, and the nearest open reception is 5 km away. After many phone calls, we finally got a check-in link, but it took more than 2 hours before we could enter our room. We were stuck outside trying to check in, pay the deposit, and the tourist tax — very frustrating. you also have to take out the trash when checking out. If you're looking for a cleaning staff position in Barcelona - it seems a perfect place for you!

Decent location. Checking in was quite difficult. Only provide one towel per person, there is a washing machine but you need to buy your own washing machine tablets. You’re on a limited hot water meter. One pillow per person.

It is not a bad location: it is about 3 minutes to the subway station and 10 minutes to get to the beach. That's about all the advantages of this hotel. Much more about disadvantages: most idiotic self-check-in procedure I've ever met (you have to pass it in another hotel in another part of the city), you must read intently the hotel's conditions not to be extra charged, a combination of iron furniture + cement floor will give you unforgettable squeaking sounds, window in the toilet that allows everyone to admire your profile sitting on the toilet, bloody cold floor, etc. So if you have a chance, look for another hotel.

Big PROBLEMS with check-in. We arrived after 19:00 and the reception was CLOSED (they open at 23:00). The nearest open reception is 5 km away. After many phone calls, we were finally given a link to complete the check-in — which also wasnt easy. It took us about 2.5 hours before we could enter our room. We were literally standing outside the building trying to check in, pay the tourist tax, and pay the deposit, which was also problematic. guests have to take out their own trash when checking out. Big PROBLEMS with check-in. We arrived after 19:00 and the reception was CLOSED (they open at 23:00). The nearest open reception is 5 km away. After many phone calls, we were finally given a link to complete the check-in — which also wasnt easy. It took us about 2.5 hours before we could enter our room. We were literally standing outside the building trying to check in, pay the tourist tax, and pay the deposit, which was also problematic. guests have to take out their own trash when checking out. I’m just glad they didn’t also ask me to clean the staircase and wash the bed linens!

Hospedagem muito confortável e ambiente moderno. Chegamos às 23h e não tivemos problemas com o check-in, tinha uma pessoa na recepção para atender. O apartamento é bem equipado e muito próximo ao metrô, ficou muito fácil locomoção sem carro. Local também é seguro.

A convenient location in El Poblenou quartier in Barcelona, relatively close to the not so crowded Bogatell beach. Walking distance to beach, pedestrian area of the quartier and Westfield Glòries Mall. Near by metro (underground) station. Plenty clear communication to the fact is no attendance at the reception in between 18:00 and 22:00 and easy to adjust your plan according to this. Decent amenities and friendly personnel. Access to the roof pool a bonus ( will be great if available for longer hours in the evening) Low cleaning schedule is great for chill holiday time.

Everything was just okay. Everything was close by. Public transportation, attractions were easy to get to. Great customer service. The only thing I would like them to consider is changing the beds! The bed/mattress were super uncomfortable. Mattresses were cheap and super old and dirty under the clean sheets

La struttura e' moderna e ben tenuta. Gli ambienti sono ampi e vivibili,la pulizia discreta. Il riscaldamento e' con pompa di calore,ma l'impianto e' un po' rumoroso. Il ceckin non e' 24h su 24h come indicato sul sito,ci sono degli orari prestabiliti altrimenti va fatto in altra struttura distante 4 km o on line (ma tassativamente entro 48 ore dall'arrivo). La metro e' molto vicina, pero' in zona ci sono pochissimi negozi o ristoranti.

Overall, the stay was very good. The location is relatively central, making it easy to get to the city center. The fact that towels are changed for a fee personally bothered me. However, you could also wash everything yourself in the available washing machine. The value for the price was really okay and good.

We loved both stays here. Hotel is convenient and comfortable, breakfast is amazing, gym is nice, and the people who work there are wonderful. Special shout-out to Jordi at the front desk who provided us great service.

L’appartement est beau mais sans aucune insonorisation. Il est donc difficile de dormir. Travaux aussi à l’extérieur donc réveil 8h obligatoire.

We were very disappointed in this property and would never recommend it to anyone else to stay at. What they call is a pool is a joke it couldn’t be the furthest thing from it and very dirty. As for the stay we had people partying above us for all three nights so we were up from 12:30-5:30am every night. We mentioned multiple times to whoever was working front desk and nothing ever got done. The customer service was very disappointing to say the least.

Lo bueno de la propiedad es la ubicacion, el barrio es muy agradable, tranquilo, pero con cafe, zona de restaurante en las ramblas de Polenou y la playa muy cerca. La habitacion en si esta bien y moderno, pero la insonorizacion entre apartamento es muy mala, se escucha todo. Nos toco una habitacion para discapacitado, por lo cual el baño no tenia una ducha separada y como la instalacion no esta muy bien hecha se moja bael piso entero en cada ducha. El baño no cuenta con ventilador asi que se queda la humeda... Ademas el sistema de alcantariado esta muy mal hecho y por el desague de la ducha subian olores a orina muy fuerte, para evitar este inconveniente teniamos que poner una toalla encima del desague cuando no usabamos la ducha. Lo indicamos al hotel para solicitar cambio de apartamento pero como estaba lleno no se pudo, la respuesta de la recepcionista al inconveniente del olor a orina fue que todo Barcelona huele a orina!!! Muy mala atitud y respuesta! Por el precio que se paga que tampoco esta economico encuentro que es una respuesta inaceptable y muy desubicada! Hicieron mejor aseo al baño pero no resuelve el problema de fondo. El hotel propuso un cambio de habitaciones para la ultima noche pero cuando llegamos de nuestro paseo no habia nadie en recepcion ya que salen a las 18h30... asi que quedamos en esta habitacion. No volveriamos!
