Had a wonderful time in Grasmere staying at the Chestnut Villas . We were in the Silver Howe Room which was superb , we had a little patio area all to ourselves where we enjoyed our morning coffee whilst taking in the amazing views around us. Mike who owns the premises with his Mum takes so much pride in ensuring you have an enjoyable stay and it was so refreshing to meet someone with so much integrity as he has . The room was beautiful , clean and quiet and we didn’t want to leave. We will certainly be returning there again on our next visit to the Lakes.

Beautiful place to stay in a wonderful location for grassmere. Mike, the proprietor, was extremely helpful and friendly. A lovely chap. I couldn't recommend the establishment highly enough.

I stayed in the Alcock Tarn suite. Totally gorgeous overall - the bed and pillows were super comfy. The rain shower and rolltop bath were brilliant and the sofa in the living room great for chilling with a book. The fridge allowed for snacks and drinks. Will be back!
