The hotel is beautiful just in front of Alhambra and very comfortable. Service was excellent. Easy check in. Discount for parking but the area is restricted to cars so be careful. The GPS took us to streets only allowed to taxis

Geweldige plek om te verblijven, maar niet voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Dat geldt overigens voor het hele gebied. Parkeren is op ca 10 min lopen en een (rol)koffer meenemen is best een avontuur. Wij kozen ervoor om een rugzak te vullen met het hoognodige. Personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. De kamer is netjes, maar vertoont wat probleempjes. Zo werkte de regendouche niet en is het toilet erg onhandig geplaatst. De ligging is perfect. Je loopt de antieke voordeur uit en staat direct in de levendigste wijk van Granada. Als we nog een keer naar Granada gaan, komen we hier zeker terug.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived . The reception staff were very helpful, booking Flamenco dancing, organising Taxi, advice on eating areas- all very good suggestions. The room was spacious and bathroom very clean. I couldn't see any parking and street very narrow, one way, but looks up at the Alhambra. Perfect

An excellent choice for those who want to be in the center of Granada. It is a short walk to the main plaza where all the buses, dinning, & shopping take place. Step out of the main entrance, look up and you see Alhambra. Reception desk hours are 9 am to 7 pm. They send you instructions on how to enter the hotel after hours. I arrived 11 pm and had no problem getting in. I highly recommend you take a taxi from the airport as they know where to drop you off. I used Uber and the driver dropped me off at the wrong location and I had to find the hotel on my own. If you are at the taxi stop at the airport and there is no taxi, wait and within 5 min a taxi will come. You don't need to order one.

Excellent small hotel in great location for all the sights of Granada. Extremely helpful staff and located right next to an excellent cafe. Secure Public parking is an 8 minute walk or a 3 minute taxi ride.

Great communication before we arrive which was after they normally leave for the day. Alberto and specially Greg were so helpful and so engaging to make sure we have everything we need. The room was spacious and super clean. We had the room with the Alahambra view on the second floor, perfect view at the same time if you have super sensitive ears like my wife get an inside facing room overall I stay here every time I come to Granada. Btw, great coffe shop right downstairs for your morning coffee.

We had a great 2 nights in a very quiet room on the top floor. Very comfortable king bed and beautifully appointed bathroom. There’s a cafe on the ground floor where you can grab a good coffee and sandwich or pastry. Terrific location.

This hotel has a lot of atmosphere and character and is very well located opposite the Alhambra, many small restaurants and cafes and easy walking distance to the center of town. The front desk team are very enthusiastic about sharing their recommendations. One caution is to be wary about the rooms opening onto the inner courtyard. We moved to another room after the first of our 4 night stay and paid the extra to upgrade which we thought was well worth it. Overall a great hotel with wonderful staff.

Cool room layout, with a nice view overlooking the stream running through town. The view of the Alhambra was limited, but the view in general was charming. Walls were a bit thin, but in general the hotel was quiet. Great and very helpful staff. Superb adjoining coffee place with great food.

I had a wonderful stay at Shine Albayzín! The location is truly exceptional — just a short walk to the Alhambra and the Hammam, which made my trip to Granada so comfortable and enjoyable. Antonio was especially kind and helpful throughout my stay, and I’m really grateful for his support. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be to have thicker curtains, as a bit of light came in from the hallway at night. Other than that, everything was perfect — highly recommended! ⸻ Tuve una estancia maravillosa en Shine Albayzín. La ubicación es realmente excelente: a pocos minutos a pie de la Alhambra y del Hammam, lo que hizo que mi viaje a Granada fuera muy cómodo y agradable. Antonio fue especialmente amable y servicial durante toda mi estancia, y estoy muy agradecida por su ayuda. Si pudiera hacer una pequeña sugerencia, sería tener cortinas un poco más gruesas, ya que entraba algo de luz del pasillo por la noche. Por lo demás, todo fue perfecto. ¡Muy recomendable!

The room, staff, and location were all fantastic. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was lovely after the long trip to get there. Clerk gave me some great recommendations, they were very communicative prior to our arrival and the view from the room was great. Loved the courtyard. Only one issue was the strange light above the door that we had to drape something over so it didn't keep us up all night. Everything else was fantastic. They were even nice enough to hold our bags for us while we toured Alhambra, even though we checked out in the morning.

Great communication before we arrive which was after they normally leave for the day. Alberto and specially Greg were so helpful and so engaging to make sure we have everything we need. The room was spacious and super clean. First Time I taken the time to review a hotel, however I am making an exception for Shine Albayzin. Excellent customer service. Was greeted by Antonio who made sure I had the location of all the best restaurants, tourist attractions and local shopping. Antonio even recommended us a Flamenco show which was excellent. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is located in the heart of the city, shopping and food. Taxi service is easily accessible, however everything is within walking distance. The room was incredibly spacious and included those beautifully accented touches you can only dream of. From the room you can enjoy views of the Alhambra. The bed exceptionally comfortable. Would recommend and will stay in the same room when traveling to Granada again.

We only stayed here one night but wished we had stayed longer as there is so much to do and see in Granada. The hotel is located near the major attractions and there are numerous transportation options in close proximity should you want to make use of those, as well as a large number of restaurants. The hotel offers good accommodations at a very reasonable price. The real quality of a hotel is its staff and in this case you will find they shine. They were highly responsive and in our case promptly took care of an issue that was due entirely to an error on our part. It is easy to be good when things are going well the true mark is how situations are handled. The team at this hotel were outstanding. My thanks to all the staff for a great stay. We will certainly stay here again if our travels bring us back to Granada.

Granada was my favorite city in Spain. This location was very convenient. We have a view of the Alhambra from our room. The hotel is right in the heart of the Albaicin neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel is small but so amazing. It has an old charm but is remodeled with modern comfortable rooms. Loved it!

Die Lage ist wirklich top! Hätte mir kein Hotel in besserer Lage vorstellen können. Freundliches Personal, Zimmer sauber und für einen Städtetrip völlig in Ordnung, zu zweit vielleicht ein bisschen eng, aber als Alleinreisende total ausreichend. Zimmer mit Blick zum Innenhof bedeutet kein Tageslicht und Hotelgäste laufen direkt vor der Balkontüre vorbei, also Fenster öffnen nur wenn man selbst im Zimmer ist. Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten, im Hotel befindet sich ein Cafe mit einem guten (nicht sehr günstigen) Angebot. Würde dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

The room, staff, and location were all fantastic. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was lovely after the long trip to get there. Clerk gave me some great recommendations, they were very communicative prior to our arrival and the view from the room was great. Loved the courtyard. Only one issue was the strange light above the door that we had to drape something over so it didn't keep us up all night. Everything else was fantastic. They were even nice enough to hold our bags for us while we toured Alhambra, even though we checked out in the morning.

We had a great 2 nights in a very quiet room on the top floor. Very comfortable king bed and beautifully appointed bathroom. There’s a cafe on the ground floor where you can grab a good coffee and sandwich or pastry. Terrific location.

Cool room layout, with a nice view overlooking the stream running through town. The view of the Alhambra was limited, but the view in general was charming. Walls were a bit thin, but in general the hotel was quiet. Great and very helpful staff. Superb adjoining coffee place with great food.

We loved the very central location and the staff recommendations on tapas places and Teterías were spot on. The coffee shop on the ground floor was excellent for having a traditional breakfast of tostados, coffee and juice, and served an excellent cheesecake for teatime.

Loved the living area overlooking the city’s crown jewel. This will live long in my memories! 💛 Pro tip: connect with the team before your arrival (which they tried to do) especially if you’re coming by car or with a lot of luggage.
