Holiday Inn Mobile Airport by IHG

The stay at Holiday Inn was very disappointing. The air conditioning was not working properly, which made the room uncomfortable. I also had trouble getting fresh towels, which should be a basic expectation during any hotel stay. On top of that, I selected the “pay when I arrive” option, but I was charged before arrival, along with an additional deposit fee. That was frustrating and not what I expected based on the booking option I chose. Overall, this location felt poorly managed and below standard. The experience was bush league at best, and I will not be staying there again.

Breakfast was very good. Best eggs and sausage at a hotel yet.

The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable!

We booked this flying to and from Mobile airport thinking we could just hop on the shuttle, but there was no shuttle available so we had to pay approx $50 each way for a Lyft. Upon arrival at about midnight, we were given a Room key for a room that was already occupied. Fortunately this didnt turn into a confrontation but could have trying to get into a room at while someone was sleeping. We went out of our way to book a King Bed, but were told they were sold out and without apology booked us for the queen. Lastly, the key card did not work on the pool, was told this was intentional. Not a big deal but was an inconvenience that should be easily avoided with modern hotel keys.
