I wouldn’t recommend this property until the second elevator comes back online. The project started in January . To have a property with 19 floors of rooms and to rely on one elevator is crazy. We were there when the elevator broke down and walking up more than 10 flights is tiring. The room is small(to be expected) being in Manhattan, but clean. The staff were friendly and responsive.

Great hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Easy access to subway, shops and main attractions. Once used the breakfast option which was also good. The rooftop bar could use a make-over.

The property was in great location however only one elevator worked and you spent half of your time waiting to go up and down the elevator. Online it also advertises $10 breakfast however this is not true just for an egg a piece of bread and some bacon it was $20. It also has a nice rooftop however that was not open either for any type of drink or food service.

You get what you pay for. Great for a few nights since you’re probably not going to be spending much time in the hotel. Hotel gyms aren’t known for being particularly well stocked but this was the sparsest I’ve ever seen. Took a while for a room to open up but this is pretty much standard for most hotels in Manhattan

Very welcoming staff and it has the most gorgeous rooftop terrace with direct views of the Empire State Building for guests to enjoy. Walk in any direction for amazing shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here!

I was very disappointed with the terrace being so dirty. It was not cleaned once in our 4 day stay. The floor, chairs, sofas, and tables were all dirty. The room was ok but just ok. Location was great as far as being central for our activities.

Bathroom had hair on the sink and floor. There is a staple in the rug on the floor. Kept catching my socks. Pillows not very soft. Everything else was wonderful. Service and staff very friendly and nice. Bartender Moe was very friendly, nice and accommodating. Waiter, hostess, barista, all the same guy at breakfast was fantastic. He was by himself and was very busy but he was great.

The staff is gracious and helpful. The rooms are a decent size with good amenities. It was immaculate. The furniture and decor is older and worn in areas, but the bed and linens were comfortable. The area in Koreatown is excellent and the hotel is located on a quiet block.

Room layout was great maximizing the small space with plenty of storage nooks. Bed was comfy and pillows were great. Only drawback was lack of a privacy shade. It was either up or down so room was dark when the shade was down during the day. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, older but well maintained hotel located in the southern perimeter of Manhattan's K-town; convenient location, walking distance from Penn Station & local subway lines, a few blocks from the ESB; rooms are clean but small, decent but low platform style beds with protruding wooden frame corners (watch your shins!). WARNING: refridgerator is housed in a cabinet directly above the center nightstand. The corners of the cabinet are pointed & sharp. I accidentally bumped my head into one of the corners. Fortunately, I sustained only a minor cut & bruise but it could've been much worse. The cabinet hangs low so it is very susceptible to head/face injury. Very poorly designed and management should consider removing/relocating it. Stayed only 1 night. Walls are thin but quiet street. Bathroom is updated & clean, nice shower & good water pressure. Free coffee/tea & cookies in the lobby. Price was reasonable considering inflated Manhattan hotel rates/value.

The staff was helpful & friendly although they didn't mention the daily $15 bar/snack credit until after i checked out. Check in was supposed to be 3pm and after a long new york drive time my room was not ready until a little after 5pm which took away relax time and dressing time before i had to leave for an event. They hold your bags while waiting but not in a secure location. Right at the front desk out in the open. The room was tiny but clean and the location was central which made it easy to get to many places like time Square. Unfortunately i would not stay again as the late check in seems to be the normal for them.

There was only 1 elevator working. Some of the staff were downright rude. The restaurant bar tender (Mo) was outstanding. Way overpriced for the accommodations. The daily “resort fee” should be removed when you have to spend hours waiting for an elevator during your stay. The “free” coffee was nasty, when I asked when it was made the lady snapped at me and said it was just made, it was cold and very obvious it had sat there all day and put back out from the morning. I threw it away and I walked to Starbucks. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Staff wouldn't be clear at explaining the different fees and taxes or amounts taken on our credit card upon arrival. They would speak very fast without making sure we understood or even not being sure themselves, about the fees. Other than that, staff was good, starting from Moe at the restaurant, to the trainee at the reception desk when we left.

Great location. Nice rooftop patio. We love that they have 2 queen beds but the room is a little small with no sitting area. Staff were polite and friendly. Wished there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. Also there was a liquor store beside the hotel if you wanna take some beer or wine to the rooftop patio. We would stay there again.

Wished there was coffee in the lobby in the morning. Also there was a liquor store beside the hotel if you wanna take some beer or wine to the rooftop patio. We would stay there again.

The property and stay were fine, however, valet parked our car and got a ticket. We walked outside to find a ticket for $115.00. They comped us the $28 resort fee. We have to now fight this ticket. Expedia states there is a made to order breakfast for $10/person. This is not true! There is no breakfast for $10/person

Nice clean rooms and overall hotel. Parking is easy but it’s $78 USD per day. Roof top bar is very nice but very slow service.

The property was in great location however only one elevator worked and you spent half of your time waiting to go up and down the elevator. Online it also advertises $10 breakfast however this is not true just for an egg a piece of bread and some bacon it was $20. It also has a nice rooftop however that was not open either for any type of drink or food service.

Everyone here was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a few free drinks at the bar. They have a great breakfast and dinner/lunch. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the roof top and hanging in the heated igloo up there. Our room had a view of the top of the Empire State Building and was a short walk to many attractions.

Great stay at this Hyatt property. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to acknowledge my friends birthday which was much appreciated. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and $15 bar credit per night although wish it would stay open later. Room was clean and functional.My only complaint was that the elevator door was extremely screechy on the floor we were on so it woke us up at night but that might be floor specific. They said they would fix it.

Very welcoming staff and it has the most gorgeous rooftop terrace with direct views of the Empire State Building for guests to enjoy. Walk in any direction for amazing shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Herald Square! The staff was incredibly responsive to our travel updates and needs and were consistently kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. The hotel itself was very clean, including our room, and the location was perfect for our trip since we were in town for a concert at Madison Square Garden. It was also surprisingly easy to access while driving into the city. The hotel offers valet parking, and the staff were also helpful in providing suggestions for nearby parking options. We chose to self-park simply because it was significantly more affordable than valet, and having convenient alternatives was really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again, especially when visiting the city for an event at MSG. The combination of a convenient location, clean accommodations, and genuinely helpful staff made this a great choice for our trip!
