We paid for breakfast both days but only used it once . We waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food and I was sick right after eating. Everything else was nice, we were not the only ones complaining and waiting. There were only about 10 people there. We are not picky people but will not include breakfast if we stay there again.

The parking situation. We went what we thought was the correct entrance but found out we needed a code. So we backed out and parked in the 10 minute check in spot (the only one left) I went inside and got checked in and asked the hostess where to park for our luggage. She stated the second level for elevator access. There is no elevator access except on 1st floor. After that it was minor stuff she gave us 2 queens instead of a king like I booked and said they are the same price. The manager fixed everything. The room was clean and quiet. Lots of places to walk to. The big Texan restaurant was a hoot and I hate tourist traps.

I love the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Amarillo, Texas. The parking garage is right next to the hotel and allows entrance to the elevators without going by the front desk. Courtyard Marriott is charging for parking which is not something I remember from previous stays. A wonderful Mexican restaurant is right across the street. A pool is not available at this hotel, but I was exhausted from overnight camping at a state park the previous night.
