Dommage que le parking soit trop petit! Lors de la réservation j'ai demandé une place de parking. Elle n'a pas été retenue. Nous sommes donc aller au parking fermé le plus proche...car la voiture n'est pas vide. Il nous a fallu régler 24€ pour moins de 24h!!

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel lors de notre voyage à destination du sud de l'Espagne. Le personnel est agréable, la décoration de l'hôtel m'a beaucoup plue. Là chambre est propre, confortable et fonctionnelle. Le bémol est que le parking était complet, nous avons donc du nous garer sur un parking public payant de proximité. Notre voiture a été vandalisée (vitre cassée) et une partie de nos effets a été dérobée... Cela a donc énormément gâché notre expérience.

Location is great. Short walk from train station with regular 45 minute trains to Barcelona. Close to beautiful beach and lots of bars. Hotel restaurant and bar is also good. Breakfast is enough to set you up for day. I did find room hot despite the air conditioning. Staff are very friendly with good English skills

Charmant hôtel, très propre, chambre spacieuse avec un matelas dont on ne sortirait pas. Calme. Le personnel aux petits soins, d’une gentillesse incroyable. Il y a restaurant dans l’hôtel avec un buffet fort sympathique ainsi qu’au petit déjeuner, un régal. Cet hôtel a tout d’un grand.

Je trouve dommage qu'il n'y est pas d'emplacements de parking prévu pour l'hôtel apparemment le parking été complet on m'a conseillé de le débrouiller le hic c'est que l'hôtesse ne parlé ni bien le français ni l'anglais donc dure de se comprendre, la chambre été propre le sol un peu sale mais dans l'ensemble c'était correct. Je n'ai pas pris le petit déjeuner trop cher je trouve sur place pour les personnes qui dorment à l'hôtel.

The property does not look like in the photos on Expedia, but very clean room, friendly staff and good location to catch the train to the City as the hotel is around 200 metres walk from the train Station of Mataro. The beach is also also close to the hotel.

Generally a very comfortable. Bad points: Restaurant closed on Sunday evening; Restaurant dinners need some changes- my pork jowl was 95% fat! ; most of the plug sockets in the room were damaged; No coffee or tea making facilities in the room; Room decor a bit stark/basic; bathroom tap had a painfully weak flow. Good points- helpful staff; very good breakfast selection; well situated for access to town and station; room cleaning excellent. Great aircon. A good hotel for a 3 star but could be very good with a few improvements. Dont hesitate to stay here.

La struttura ha una reception con area ristoro molto carina e ben arredata, le camere sono sufficientemente ampie e pulite anche se i muri necessitano di una imbiancatura. Bagno abbastanza grande con una doccia molto comoda anche se durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo avuto alcuni problemi con l'acqua calda che si è bloccata più di una volta. Il personale comunque ci ha aiutato al riguardo e ci hanno detto che stavano facendo delle manutenzioni per risolvere il problema. La città di Matarò è abbastanza carina con buoni ristoranti presenti nei dintorni, è inoltre abbastanza comoda per raggiungere Barcellona, solo 25 minuti in auto, non abbiamo sperimentato con i mezzi pubblici.

I loved the beds. The mattresses are very comfortable I slept like a king. The room was very clean and roomy for the four of us. There were four beds in the room. Lots of plugs for to connect your electronic devices.

Mijn verblijf in het New Colon Hotel was over het algemeen aangenaam, vooral gezien de prijs. Het hotel ligt centraal op par honderd meter van het strand. De belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden zijn makkelijk te voet bereikbaar, en er zijn veel restaurants en winkels in de buurt. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar schoon, en bieden alles wat je nodig hebt voor een kort verblijf. De badkamer was functioneel maar heeft wel een opknapbeurt nodig, het was gedateerd. Het personeel was top! Erg vriendelijk en deed hun best om mijn verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Het in- en uitchecken verliep vlot. Al bij al is het New Colon Hotel een goede optie als je op zoek bent naar een betaalbaar verblijf op een centrale locatie.

Estuve dos noches. La habitación individual es un zulo, el lavabo a 3 dedos del inodoro, la cama de 90, sin ventilacion y con un holor nauseabundo... Pedi en recepcion factura por el parking y la tasa, el lunes me la daban el martes, el martes me la daban a la salida, y a la salida no podian y me la tenian que mandar por mail... En la habitacion no indican la clave del wifi, tuve que bajar para preguntar. Un desproposito.

What a find. Very good hotel, handy for the train station and the centre of Mataro, and getting into Barcelona. Plenty of choice for breakfast, especially as mine was included in my room price. Also some options for an evening meal, not quite as many but the food was very good. Only small gripe, which wasn't the hotels fault, was on my floor on my last night there were some very loud guests who were constantly going into other rooms, knocking on doors as they didn't answer. It didn't go on too late but was annoying.

Mijn verblijf in het New Colon Hotel was over het algemeen aangenaam, vooral gezien de prijs. Het hotel ligt centraal op par honderd meter van het strand. This was an amazing stay, outside of Barcelona. It has the train route easy and close but it takes over an hour to make it to the city center. Over all the hotel was perfect if your plan is to be in a quite area and a step away from the beach.

Location is great. Short walk from train station with regular 45 minute trains to Barcelona. Close to beautiful beach and lots of bars. Hotel restaurant and bar is also good. Breakfast is enough to set you up for day. I did find room hot despite the air conditioning. Staff are very friendly with good English skills

What a find. Very good hotel, handy for the train station and the centre of Mataro, and getting into Barcelona. Plenty of choice for breakfast, especially as mine was included in my room price. Also some options for an evening meal, not quite as many but the food was very good. Only small gripe, which wasn't the hotels fault, was on my floor on my last night there were some very loud guests who were constantly going into other rooms, knocking on doors as they didn't answer. It didn't go on too late but was annoying.

Charmant hôtel, très propre, chambre spacieuse avec un matelas dont on ne sortirait pas. Calme. Le personnel aux petits soins, d’une gentillesse incroyable. Il y a restaurant dans l’hôtel avec un buffet fort sympathique ainsi qu’au petit déjeuner, un régal. Cet hôtel a tout d’un grand.

Bad points: Restaurant closed on Sunday evening; Restaurant dinners need some changes- my pork jowl was 95% fat! ; most of the plug sockets in the room were damaged; No coffee or tea making facilities in the room; Room decor a bit stark/basic; bathroom tap had a painfully weak flow. Good points- helpful staff; very good breakfast selection; well situated for access to town and station; room cleaning excellent. Great aircon. A good hotel for a 3 star but could be very good with a few improvements. Dont hesitate to stay here.

Part of the reason we chose the hotel was on-site parking even with a fee. When we arrived, we were told there was none on site and had to park and walk still with a fee. Bartender was fabulous, very kind and attentive. AC was challenging - ran pretty warm in our room Room was clean and plenty of space for 2 adults and a child. We didn’t eat at the breakfast but buffet looked nice. The walk to the beach is easy, there’s a tunnel under the street. Would say the streets are a bit dirty and people smoke on the beach.
