Quiet, comfortable bed, nice views from the balcony, extremely convenient to walk 5 mins to the train station. Decent breakfast buffet. The on site gym is near unusable with everything being broken, so don’t plan to use their gym.

Le personnel est très prévenant, la responsable du SPA nous a fait passer un moment hors du temps avec un massage de 45 min, que nous conseillons à tous pour une détente maximale. Le SPA est simple mais intime et idéalement située. Les chambres ont une vue magnifiée sur le port . Le petit déjeuner est simple mais le choix est là avec des produits de qualité. Les environs offrent des solutions de restauration et la possibilité de grandes promenades vivifiantes

The internal pool, sauna and steam room are all extra, as is the car parking. The motorbike parking charge is the same as a car, which is a rip off as bike only take one quarter of the space! The hotel must do something about that. The breakfast is, however, a good selection and value for money. Outdoor pool is from 9-9 and included in price.

Attendu 3/4h pour avoir une serviette pour la piscine ça été tellement t long que je ne me suis pas baigné. Lhotesse d’accueil nous dit de ne garer sur le parking public alors qu’il y avait un parking souterrain, merci on s’est fait forcé notre voiture de location. Bref je déconseille cet hôtel

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel direkt am Strand und Hafen, in einer ruhigen und sicheren Umgebung. Das Hotel verfügt über eine eigene Tiefgarage mit zwei Wallboxen, an denen man kostenlos laden kann. Insgesamt macht das Hotel einen sehr guten Eindruck, auch wenn die äußere Erscheinung etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Lobby ist sehr schön gestaltet und es riecht angenehm im gesamten Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet, ebenso das Bad. Auch wenn die Ausstattung nicht mehr ganz modern ist und einige Abnutzungserscheinungen aufweist, war das große Bett ein Highlight – noch größer als übliche King-Size-Betten, was für einen besonders erholsamen Schlaf sorgt. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war zufriedenstellend, allerdings gab es im Bad sichtbare Ausbesserungen an der Decke, die nicht ganz professionell ausgeführt wurden. Leider hatten wir eine unerfreuliche Begegnung mit einer großen Kakerlake in der Dusche. Obwohl dies ein einmaliger Vorfall war, hat es unseren Eindruck etwas getrübt. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Hotel, das mit ein paar Abstrichen weiterempfohlen werden kann. Es wäre jedoch ratsam, die Zimmer und Bäder zu renovieren bzw. ordentliche Ausbesserungen vorzunehmen. Auf den ersten Blick ein ordentliches Haus. ABER: Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer - es war wirklich ALLES von dort zu hören - extrem hellhörig! Der Poolblick hat natürlich den Nachteil, dass tagsüber ganztätig ein hoher Geräuschpegel herrscht. Wirklich unangenehm war ein massiver Befall im Zimmer mit Silberfischchen. Darauf angesprochen, schien die Dame an der Rezeption nicht wirklich überrascht... - kein Wort der Entschuldigung! Das geht gar nicht für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Einzig das Frühstück, das auch auf der Außenterrasse eingenommen werden konnte, war wirklich sehr erfreulich.

Bon emplacement, proche de la gare et du port, dans un quartier agréable. Le personnel est sympathique. En revanche, la chambre manquait de propreté et le mobilier était un peu usé. Pas de brosse dans les WC, ce qui est gênant. Petit déjeuner correct mais basique : pas de jus de fruits frais, dommage, même si l’option halal est appréciable.

Location was quiet and beautiful beaches around. 45 minutes by train to Placa De Catalunya where you can walk to many popular spots, ex: Sagrada Familia. Staff were very helpful and breakfast buffet was good. Fresh ground coffee machine had me pounding 4 cafe lattes for breakfast. Quick walk over to Mataro which is a nice city and friendly people. Also, lots of restaurants nearby along with a good gelato place. Would stay here again for sure.

Tout était bien le personnel très gentil, la gare juste à côté, les chambres sont propre, une jolie vue sur le port, la piscine est propre, le petit-déjeuner et le dîner étaient vraiment délicieux, le seul problème c'était la connexion internet qui était faible. Hotellets placering er helt i top. Tæt ved stationen, og lige ud til marinaen. Der er dog en del støj fra marinaen i dagtimerne. Sengene er gode og faste uden bløde huller, men derudover er værelserne slidte og trænger til en renovering. Der er ikke så rent som der burde være på et 4 stjernet hotel. Der mangler tydelig overordnet ledelse, hvilket kommer til udtryk ved medarbejdere der selv forsøger at få det til at fungere. Medarbejderne er generelt søde, men mangler en tydelig overordnet plan for hvad de skal. Der ses både af at de forskellige afdelinger ikke kan samarbejde (det er ikke os, det er dem), og især ved morgenmaden hvor man føler sig hensat til et østblokland fra før murens fald. Der er mange medarbejdere, 6-7 stykker, men kun én eller to lavet noget. Resten får bare søvndrukne rundt eller gemmer sig i et hjørne. Det betyder at borde ikke bliver tømt og der bliver ikke fyldt op i buffeten. Udvalget er ikke stort men ok. Brødet er dog kedelige toast (dog både hvidt og groft), der selv hvis det ristes ikke er værd at spise. Det er lidt synd når nu Catalonien egentlig har så meget lækker og frisk brød at byde på. Så skip morgenmaden på hotellet og find en bager, de har allesammen noget bedre at byde på. I den udendørs bar kører der tekno på fulde drøn når der en gang i mellem er gæster. Efter en time med den samme rytme kan man hverken holde ud at sidde på altanen eller lige ved poolen. Men det er måske ideen? Der er et fint træningsrum og lækkert spa.

Hotel is a little outdated in the rooms but beautiful on the common areas. Wifi didnt work for the first two days, we called and they said everything was fine. They had to reset the router in our room to make it work. Overall, would recommend if you dont care about the room interior

Hotel location was not as described. Furthermore, hotel room was small, curtains did not function well, shower had a super slippery floor and WORST OF ALL, the bed WAS ROCK HARD AND IT WAS 2 singles put together and therefore a couple cannot share. Horrible all around and very very disappointed

Das Hotel ist schön am Hafen von Mataro gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein schöner langer Strand und viele verschiedene Spielplätze. Leider waren die verbundenen 2 Doppelzimmer und der Flur schon sehr verwohnt. Wir hatten einen schönen Ausblick auf den Hafen, jedoch haben wir exta Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht. Das Meer haben wir aber aus dem untersten Stockwerk nicht gesehen. Der Indorpool darf leider nur von Erwachsenen genutzt werden, was sehr schade für unsere Kinder war. Das Frühstück war nicht gut. Die Speisenvielfalt war übersichtlich und es wurde kaum etwas nachgefüllt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat uns alle Fragen unkompliziert beantwortet. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel war super. Die Bahn Richtung Barcelona war über einen kurzen Unterführungstunnel schnell zu erreichen.

Sehr gute Lage und geräumige schöne Zimmer vor allem das Bad. Ich hatte selten so ein großes gemütliches Bett in einem Hotel. Was mir nicht gefallen hat dass das Hotel unangenehm riecht (zum Glück nicht die Zimmer). Das macht einen schlechten Eindruck wenn man reinkommt. Das Schlafsofa hätte auch eineReinigung vertragen können. Aber eigentlich war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Echt fantastisch hotel. Grote, mooie en hele nette kamer met grote bedden. Schoon en prachtig uitzicht over de haven en de zee. Geweldige prijs/kwaliteit verhouding! Kan niet beter.

It was really clean and nice but the only thing I can say don't choose sea view early at 7 am at the port they start to work and there is a lot of noise coming from there that you can't sleep anymore I don't really know in the another side street view that's the only reason I can't give them the better review

Vi har boet på hotellet mere end 10 gange, hvilket vil næsten fortæller, at vi er meget tilfredse med opholdet. Venligt og hjælpsom personale både i reception og ved morgenmadsbuffet og restaurant. Det eneste år, hvor det kneb lidt for dem, satte de himmel og jord i bevægelse for at flytte rundt på andre reservationer, så de kunne imødekomme os. Beliggenhed med udkig over havnen og strand på begge sider af hotellet tæller også med. Mataro er en by med over 130.000 indbyggere, men der er kun 4 hoteller i byen, så der ikke turistorienterede barer på alle gadehjørner, hvis man søger den form for ferie.

Le SPA est simple mais intime et idéalement située. Les chambres ont une vue magnifiée sur le port . Le petit déjeuner est simple mais le choix est là avec des produits de qualité. Les environs offrent des solutions de restauration et la possibilité de grandes promenades vivifiantes

It is a nice and clean place to stay. It is just 5min walk from the train station which go to Barcelona but sometimes it is completely full and was difficult for our kids to stay inside. We arrived before the check-in time and the receptionist was very rude( don't have her name) but Diago was too nice and showed us were to stay until the room is ready. Apart from that the hotel is very clean and quit and recommend for families with children.

They almost did not let us do check in since we did not have a passport but only European driving license. They claimed that they need to give our information to the police and only Passport is allowed. Since we did not have passports with us, we argued for 10 minutes till she agree to check us in. You can fly within Europe with your driving license so it does not make sense that you can check in only with a passport to this hotel. This was not a good start at this hotel.

Location was quiet and beautiful beaches around. 45 minutes by train to Placa De Catalunya where you can walk to many popular spots, ex: Sagrada Familia. Staff were very helpful and breakfast buffet was good. Fresh ground coffee machine had me pounding 4 cafe lattes for breakfast. Quick walk over to Mataro which is a nice city and friendly people. Also, lots of restaurants nearby along with a good gelato place. Would stay here again for sure.

The hotel is a perfect base for exploring Barcelona whilst not staying in the city itself. The train to the city is regular and opposite the hotel and it runs late into the evening. The hotel staff were attentive but not intrusive. Breakfast was plentiful and of lots of good quality choices. The bedrooms are modern and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it highly.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy Mataró but also travel into the city of Barcelona! Stunning beaches, a lovely pool, train station only a short walk and a range of places to dine on the door step. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It was perfect!!!!!!

The location wasn't too bad, it about 40mins train ride into Barcelona and the train was parked like sardines which was very bad as it was very very hot when we went. Please note that when you add dinner into your room, its a set menu for every 4 days it changes which we didn't know and it was not a great menu and not best food. We had to remove dinner and go else were to eat.

Bon hôtel très bien situé au bord du port. Les chambres vues sur le port sont super. Belle chambre, très grande, literie confortable et au calme. Tout est accessible à pied (10min du centre ville et des meilleurs restaurants de la ville, 5min de la plage. Très bon accueil et parking disponible (14€/jour). Seul bémol, la qualité de petit-déjeuner qui est très low-cost en dehors du café Nespresso. La charcuterie et les fromages sont de mauvaises qualité (un comble en Espagne) de même que la tortilla (la plus mauvaise que j’ai mangé depuis des années en Espagne. Je ne parle même pas du « pain » (mais ça c’est courant en Espagne) et des viennoiseries. Tout simplement immangeable. Il faudrait faire un effort sur cela surtout pour un hôtel 4 étoiles de ce standing. Il est dommage aussi que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas ouvert plus tard le WE! En dehors de cet aspect négatif, je recommande!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Atenea Port with our teenage boys with connecting rooms. We would definitely return to this area and hotel. Transport links were fantastic and the hotel top notch in all areas. We had a half board deal and the food was absolutely lovely.

Great breakfast, but if you book the breakfast-dinner option be aware that there is no buffet but you get three courses (choice of three, no vegetarian option) and those who dine there à la carte sit in the same room as you and what choice they get makes you regret booking your board in advance… not recommended!

We stayed here while attending the Catalunya MotoGP and it was a great base, only around a 30-minute drive to the circuit. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a much more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busy tourist areas. We used the Nuus restaurant most evenings and also spent time at the outside bar, both of which were really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and service was always good. This is not a major tourist hotspot, so don’t expect the same type of nightlife, entertainment or busy beach atmosphere you’d get in the larger resort towns — but that was actually part of the appeal for us. It felt more authentic, quieter and far less crowded. We didn’t use the pool area but it did look was nice & relaxing! There were cafe restaurants and places to walk around nearby. Overall, a really good option if you want somewhere calmer to stay while visiting the Catalunya circuit or exploring the area.
