What a super Hotel in the middle of the city. Very helpful on arrival. Rooms spacious and well equipped. The beds are SUPER comfy. Restaurant serves good food and fabulous breakfast choice. Parking overnight and all the next day for £20. Would highly recommend

The hotel is in the process of being refurbished and so only the 6th and 7th floor were in use. Our room was very clean with quality bathroom fittings. The bedroom area was large with everything you would expect, a safe, hairdryer, free water in the mini fridge, iron/ironing board, tea/biscuits etc. We found the matress was a little firm, therefore not as comfortable as we would have liked. The staff at the hotel are first class, very friendly and helpful. A really great choice at breakfast from a self service buffet style to cooking you porridge or pancakes! The hotel is well located in central Bristol and the car park is directly next door, park on the second floor and it gives you easy access to the hotel itself. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel couldn't be much more central, located at the Bear Pit roundabout joining Gloucester Rd. Be careful out and about in this area, Stokes Croft can be a bit druggy... Lovely restaurants nearby. Shame the underground car park isn't very secure and the local addicts use it to shoot up and collapse in.

Stayed on the 7th floor. Lovely modern clean room with a good size balcony. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Food was great. Fabulous hotel with onsite parking in the city centre.

No heating in hotel DECEMBER 2022! Not advised at check in. Given a plug in heater which did nothing in a room that size, strong draft blowing in from balcony door which didn't open. Charged for a breakfast that was incorrectly booked by staff, and wasn't as agreed deducted from bill. Only one lift working - all in all inadequate. In no way worthy of its 4 star rating. Very uncomfortable.

Very handy to have the NCP car park attached to the hotel. The welcome on reception on the ground floor was very warm - Anne was lovely and is a credit to you! The food was very good - waiting staff quite slow despite the restaurant in the evening being almost empty especially when the Maître D said he would return to take our mains order in a couple of minutes and finally arrived about 10 mins or so later. Breakfast was very good - all you could possibly want! The area is quite run down which is a shame but the hotel cant help that - they make up for it with their friendliness and helpfulness. Handy for the Bristol Hippodrome which is about a 15min walk away.

Very disappointing. Had to change rooms, still not much improvement. I adequately cleaned, shabby fittings and sofa bed. However service was professional and friendly, and breakfast was excellent.

Four nights at this hotel and very nice it was, location was good with plenty of shops bars restaurants within walking distance. Had no complaints with the hotel the staff were lovely, rooms were comfortable and immaculate didn’t hear a sound from anybody during our stay, lovely hotel very reasonable would recommend.

The aircon was broken in the room and the windows don’t open. Phoned reception twice about it before heading out for the evening. Still wasn’t fixed when we got back hours later and had to phone again and we were brought a portable aircon unit. The room was boiling and none of us slept. For £200 a night it was a joke.

Great location. Nice room. Lovely staff. All spoiled by ac not working. A temporary unit was in the room, it could not keep the room cool and kept turning off. Stay ruined by lack of sleep.

Not bad, it’s situated on a very busy road and our premium room overlooked the road. Was noisy at night with lots of police sirens. The room is very nice and clean but we found the pillows were too soft but if you called reception they would have provided firm pillows. Breakfast was beautiful and the staff are very nice and helpful offering choice of eggs and fresh pancakes. My cooked breakfast was lovely and worth every penny. Hotel is well situated opposite the shopping centre. Overnight parking in the adjacent ncp car park is hefty at £20 per night.

Staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived. They were all very helpful, very friendly and made our stay that much more enjoyable. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything and more. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Will definatley be staying here again!

One receptionist very unhelpful when I couldn't access my reservation details due to roaming not working on phone. This caused a long delay as I couldn't access hotel WiFi. Receptionist was quite rude and disinterested, and did not clearly explain how to log into hotel WiFi. Also, we booked two rooms but were only given one until I reminded staff that two had been booked. I had been informed that these rooms would be beside each other but they were not. Bathroom lock didn't work properly and staff advised to just not lock the bathroom door. No maintenance available to repair or replace it. Lock on main door broke also and caused security issues as child could exit room any time. Had to request more toilet rolls. Other staff member/ receptionist was very helpful and tried to resolve issues but as mentioned above, adjacent room and maintenance were unavailable so she couldn't fully resolve the issues. Good location and hotel clean.

We had an underwhelming stay here - the hotel is located at the outskirts of the city centre and the hotel itself looks and feels a bit “tired”. In addition to that the Front Desk is constantly closed from time to time and could feel a bit like a “ghost town”. There had been some hiccups from check-in to check out, but eventually the management team was able to address the issues and assure me those will be improved in due course. Mistakes can happen and it’s about how they are addressed.

The food was very good - waiting staff quite slow despite the restaurant in the evening being almost empty especially when the Maître D said he would return to take our mains order in a couple of minutes and finally arrived about 10 mins or so later. Breakfast was very good - all you could possibly want! The area is quite run down which is a shame but the hotel cant help that - they make up for it with their friendliness and helpfulness. Handy for the Bristol Hippodrome which is about a 15min walk away.

The reception counter did not have proper facilities for disabled and had to assist the staff in checking in a lady on a wheelchair. The wheelchaired person could not access the desk at reception nor the staff were trained to give special help such as moving their ass from behind the desk and help the lady.

Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Room was excellent, clean and spacious. Not directly in the hub for tourist but the walk (20min) was easy and enjoyable. Close to the train and even closer to the bus station which has direct links to the airport and other towns/ cities nearby.

What a super Hotel in the middle of the city. Very helpful on arrival. Rooms spacious and well equipped. The beds are SUPER comfy. Restaurant serves good food and fabulous breakfast choice. Parking overnight and all the next day for £20. Would highly recommend

This is the first time I’ve stayed there, but will be back. Located right to the centre of Bristol, across the road from the main shopping area, all things were in three minutes of the front door. We did walk to the train station, which was a little further accessible and safe on foot or by Taxi.

This hotel couldn't be much more central, located at the Bear Pit roundabout joining Gloucester Rd. Be careful out and about in this area, Stokes Croft can be a bit druggy... Lovely restaurants nearby. Shame the underground car park isn't very secure and the local addicts use it to shoot up and collapse in.

Four nights at this hotel and very nice it was, location was good with plenty of shops bars restaurants within walking distance. Had no complaints with the hotel the staff were lovely, rooms were comfortable and immaculate didn’t hear a sound from anybody during our stay, lovely hotel very reasonable would recommend.

Great staff, friendly and informative. Breakfast was delicious and choice was good. Bed was very firm so didnt have the best night's sleep but overall recommended for a great stay.

Very handy to have the NCP car park attached to the hotel. The welcome on reception on the ground floor was very warm - Anne was lovely and is a credit to you! Had a fantastic stay. The room was lovely and big, clean and comfy. Every member of staff were friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was brilliant. A huge selection of high standard food. Mrittika was especially great at breakfast, really went above and beyond. We had a great stay and would really recommend this hotel.

Great location and ease of using car park (paid in advance). Good breakfast too. Nice and quiet room on back of hotel so can’t comment about the front. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Yeah the staff was alright. Room was clean, breakfast was good in the morning however I just felt the staff was a tad useless first night there we had to ask 3 times to get a duvet each time they came up giving us something random such as towels or pillows. Hard work to get one of them on the bar, why have the bar if you can’t manage it? Ask the younger staff a question and they give you a small attitude or just bluntly answer you and ignore you. But apart from the staff (and that’s the receptionist staff. cleaning staff are hard workers) I feel the stay was alright nice room, comfy bed and great breakfast but don’t ask the reception for anything as they don’t really have a clue.
