The property is lovely, but very isolated. You will need a car since Uber does not typically go there. Because o f its location , it would be much more convenient if one would be able to get laundry done on site or have easy access to a cleaners.

We had a blast at Daniel’s Summit Lodge! We went snowmobiling for half a day and enjoyed the scenery and the restaurant and the gift shop immensely. I would highly recommend Daniel’s Summit Lodge as it has that good old log cabin vibe. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of our time there and went to Park city for the day. We also went on the train ride in Heber city. Fun times!

Daniels Summit is high in the Wasatch Mountains, the lodge has that rustic cabin feeling. We had the King Deluxe and has a view of the mountains, Room is very comfortable, property has a store for snacks & gifts, nice restaurant, rental options SxS, motorcycles & snowmobiles. Only about 15 minutes from Heber City & 10-15 degrees cooler. Very relaxing

This property is amazing! It is connected to trails for the side by side. Strawberry reservoir is minutes away for fishing. There is a store and restaurant on site. Pool with hot tub. We absolutely love this place!!

Breakfast is a joke, not even fresh fruit, pastries, or juice of any kind; Deck chairs were broken (straps rotted); Balcony railing broken and/or improperly installed; Hot tub needs resurfacing; Staff not helpful; Desk phone broken, with exposed wires on same; Restaurant closing early; DVD player not plugged in and no remote for it; Hole in the balcony deck; Decor seriously outdated; Musty small throughout the building and some kind of smell reducer thing in the bedroom that lasted 1 day only; Lots of road noise, even on the other side of the building--couldn't enjoy sitting outside on the balcony. I have photos of all! I will say it was CLEAN and the towels were good. Beds were so-so.

Beautiful rustic cabin. Friendly service, great food at the restaurant. The pool and hot tub area are nice. A great little get away. We come for the fresh groomed trails, and snowmobile adventure for the family.

Front desk agents were not very helpful. The elevator smells like puke. The room smells like mildew. There is no easy entry only has a driveway entrance no stairs or walkway to enter the building. The lodge is very dated needs renovation we had no way to purchase any water after 9:00PM.

There was never a person to answer the front desk phone. We called 3 times to ask for towels and report a bat in the pool area, but they never answered. When we tried to check out, there was no one around the front desk. We rang a bell...waited for 10 min... no one came so we left.

We stayed in a queen cabin, saw a mouse the first night, but couldn't see where it went. 2nd night there, we heard noises in the night, and discovered that in our dogs food bowl, all her kibble was gone, and mice droppings were left behind. We started looking all over our cabin, and noticed mouse droppings on the window seals, under the beds, dresser drawers, and behind the fridge. Needless to say we did not stay the third night of our reservation. We checked out and went home. They called and said that they would refund us that 3rd night stay, but it was a lot less than what we paid through hotels.com. Also, everytime we left our cabin to go do something, when we came back sour keys to the cabin didn't work, and we had to go to the front desk to get rekeyed. We wanted a quiet restful weekend, and it was not by a longshot. Trying to work with Daniel's Summit and this situation, every time I bring up what we were told, their response is, oh that was a new person, they are just learning.

The location was beautiful and the one staff member we interacted with was very friendly. We stayed in a cabin and unfortunately it was disappointing, especially for the price we paid. It was dirty, there was animal hair in our sheets and on the walls, lots of little dead bugs everywhere and no air conditioning so it was very hot inside with the windows open even.

The rooms and building were very clean and well kept. Alison checked us in and was very kind & accommodating. Everything was decorated so nicely, still for Christmas, it was beautiful. The lodge grill next door was wonderful, the food was great, we had the best waitress, I think her name was Kaylee. She went above and beyond. I have severe allergies, she came out and showed me the ingredients, was very careful about cross contamination, she is very kind, hard working and accommodating. The store that is attached to the lodge has snacks, food, drinks, medicine, clothes, hats, shot glasses, coffee cups. The couple things I would change is not having a free breakfast, if you want breakfast you have to go to the lodge and pay for it. The other thing is something small but I couldn’t find ice, there is an ice bucket in your room. Well it is on the very bottom floor along with a vending machine that only used cash. Other than that it was wonderful

I like that your deck overlooks the mountains. I think it needs someupdated carpet and things like that but all in all very comfortable and smelled amazing, we even slept with the deck door open all night, felt so good to have the mountain air in the room

The location is beautiful. Scenery is gorgeous. But the hotel itself needs some updating and attention. Our room was okay, but the bathroom sink was plugged up, the mini fridge door wouldn’t close all the way, so the fridge didn’t keep anything cold, and there were hairs on our pillows. It was expensive for what you get.

We would stay here over and over again. The place is super cute, cozy, clean, western. Every room has a balcony and fireplace. Great for a quick getaway. The restaurant is pretty good, a little overpriced but good.

A beautiful lodge, unique in it's detailed, high quality rustic western decor throughout, right down to the toilet paper holder. Lovely and very comfortable beds. Gorgeous and quiet setting.

Overall, it was fine. Negatives were the room was hot and the thermostat was broken. We left the window open and that solved the problem. The hotel Continental breakfast was lackluster. A couple of cereals and a few microwavable items. Better than nothing.

We were greeted by a very unfriendly worker who didn’t seem to care we were even there. We went into our room and found there wasn’t a fridge. We had stayed before and knew there would be a fridge so we stopped ant the store for some milk and a few other things we’d need. I went to the front desk and asked her about it and she informed us we didn’t have the right room. She told us if we had booked through them directly she could change it. I asked her if there was anything she could do and she asked if we had a cooler. When I I told her we didn’t she just looked at me. It was clear she was not willing to help us. I tried to fill up the ice container to try and keep things cold until morning but the ice machine was broken. I ended up having to throw away the perishable food. I was frustrated because I knew there were very few guests and it would’ve been so easy to unplug the little fridge from an empty room for us to use. We went to go swim and the pool was freezing and full of bugs and spiders. We cleaned them out ourselves but they seemed to be falling from the ceiling. The hot tub was very hot and foamed with too much chlorine. I was so disappointed because when we came last fall the staff members were so kind and accommodating. We were excited to bring our daughter back to stay. We booked a 3 night stay but I wished I had been able to leave after the first night. We made the best of our trip and were treated much better by other staff members on our 2nd day.

We had stayed before and knew there would be a fridge so we stopped ant the store for some milk and a few other things we’d need. I went to the front desk and asked her about it and she informed us we didn’t have the right room. She told us if we had booked through them directly she could change it. I asked her if there was anything she could do and she asked if we had a cooler. When I I told her we didn’t she just looked at me. It was clear she was not willing to help us. The rooms and building were very clean and well kept. Alison checked us in and was very kind & accommodating. Everything was decorated so nicely, still for Christmas, it was beautiful. The lodge grill next door was wonderful, the food was great, we had the best waitress, I think her name was Kaylee. She went above and beyond. I have severe allergies, she came out and showed me the ingredients, was very careful about cross contamination, she is very kind, hard working and accommodating. The store that is attached to the lodge has snacks, food, drinks, medicine, clothes, hats, shot glasses, coffee cups. The couple things I would change is not having a free breakfast, if you want breakfast you have to go to the lodge and pay for it. The other thing is something small but I couldn’t find ice, there is an ice bucket in your room. Well it is on the very bottom floor along with a vending machine that only used cash. Other than that it was wonderful

The summer is off season. We stayed here over the July 4th weekend. It was completely dead, hardly any living guests there. We didn’t realize the toilet was plugged & it overflowed late at night when no cleaning staff was there. We had to clean it up ourselves with towels & cleaner that the front desk gave us. It was quiet & the restaurant was good but expensive.

There was never a person to answer the front desk phone. We called 3 times to ask for towels and report a bat in the pool area, but they never answered. When we tried to check out, there was no one around the front desk. We rang a bell...waited for 10 min... no one came so we left.

Nice rustic feel in the mountains. Easy access to trail riding. There were a few maintenance concerns with the room but the staff was swift to fix or they made adjustments to the rate. Really nice to have a restaurant on site with really good food and service. We will stay there again in the future.

The property is lovely, but very isolated. You will need a car since Uber does not typically go there. Because o f its location , it would be much more convenient if one would be able to get laundry done on site or have easy access to a cleaners.

Daniels Summit is high in the Wasatch Mountains, the lodge has that rustic cabin feeling. We had the King Deluxe and has a view of the mountains, Room is very comfortable, property has a store for snacks & gifts, nice restaurant, rental options SxS, motorcycles & snowmobiles. Only about 15 minutes from Heber City & 10-15 degrees cooler. Very relaxing

This property is amazing! It is connected to trails for the side by side. Strawberry reservoir is minutes away for fishing. There is a store and restaurant on site. Pool with hot tub. We absolutely love this place!!

We booked a room for the weekend of June 24. Upon arrival we noticed our room smelled of cigarette smoke and the balcony railing was broken. We asked the very nice gal at the front desk if we could possibly change rooms and she switched us to a different room immediately no questions asked, even putting us on the back side of the lodge which has a much better view. The room was clean and neat and the customer service was fantastic and friendly. The rooms are simple and have a great rustic cabin atmosphere with an electric fireplace and cute lodge decor. The private balconies are awesome, I highly recommend trying to reserve a room on the backside of the lodge with the beautiful Mountain View’s, the front side faces the parking lot and highway and while still pretty, the view is no match for the backside. The lodge rents atvs in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter. There is a general store and restaurant on site. The restaurant had great food and big portions. Keep in mind the lodge is about 20 miles from any other restaurants, grocery stores or gas station so if the general store or restaurant isn’t open it can be quite the drive into town to grab something. We loved our stay and can’t wait to go back. The only downsides we noticed were the bed was very stiff and bouncy and left us both sore, and the road is surprisingly loud (while outside- inside is very quiet) but these were small issues and would not stop us from staying again.

Very beautiful scenery out our windows with a clean comfy room. Only dowside is the resturant not ser ing breakfast cause now its off season, yet they are the only resturant for 15 to 20 miles around.

Our stay was amazing in every aspect. Rooms are spacious and the 2nd floor view towards the west with the sunset very nice. We went to Daniels for the snowmobiling and were not disappointed. The food at the onsite restaurant is quite good. All of the staff we met were quite helpful.

We love Daniels Summit. The staff is always great. The snowmobiling is epic. The food at the restaurant is great. Only 1 1/2 hours out of Salt Lake, you feel like you are in another world. Great adventure and so relaxing at the same time.

We would stay here over and over again. The place is super cute, cozy, clean, western. Every room has a balcony and fireplace. Great for a quick getaway. The restaurant is pretty good, a little overpriced but good.

Beautiful rustic cabin. Friendly service, great food at the restaurant. The pool and hot tub area are nice. A great little get away. We come for the fresh groomed trails, and snowmobile adventure for the family.

Snowmobiling was so fun! Staff was great! Rooms were nice. I wish the fireplace in the room was a real gas fireplace, instead of just a “pretend” fireplace that lights up. Restaurant food was very good, but expensive. Hours for general store and restaurant were great.

Traveling with our dog so we were in a cabin which was very nice with a back porch. It was summer so we didn’t use fireplace which looked nice. It. Was very quiet with only a few other guests. Good dinner at restaurant on site. Food was very fresh.

This hotel was beautiful! We did not receive very good customer service. The lady who checked us in was not very helpful. I had rented the room for one night and my husband rented a room for 2 additional nights in his name. We had asked them at the desk if we were all set with the same room for 3 nights and the lady said yes and then the next day the maid knocked on the door and barged in while we were sleeping because they thought we were leaving by 11 am. They apologized but the communication was terrible! We did not have housekeeping at all the 3 days we were there. Because of the miscommunication. No one even asked if needed anything. We had to ask .

We rented a pet friendly cabin with rocking chairs on the patio. It was clean, the staff was very helpful and the restaurant was great!! We rode on side x side trails and had a wonderful trip. Beautiful mountains and peaceful surroundings!! Would highly recommend!!
