The room was comfy and clean. The only slight challenge is that there is a fleet of truck beds that uses the other side of the parking lot. For about an hour, or so they were coming to pick up or drop off. FORTUNATELY, the sound of trucks ended at about 9pm.

Perfect place to stay for the night. The convenience of parking next to your room vs. hauling everything through a lobby speaks for itself. All the appliances (ac, fridge, microwave etc) worked perfect. The room is clean and we’re happy. We’ve been on a 2000 mile trip and every place we’ve stayed had issues.

The remodled office was beautiful. Pet friendly motel. Complimentary pet towel and dog biscuit. Bright and friendly. Room was clean, nice tv, bed was ok. My only criticisms were the door has a gap under and around it ( easily fixed with weather stripping). It would keep the rooms more efficient for heat and air. It would also cut the traffic noise. The annoying thing was the tv kept buffering for over 3 hrs. Gave up and went to bed. This is not against the staff as they were great. But $99.10 was steap for the problems. At 65-70 it might not have been as annoying.

It was a good hotel for the price. Saved $50-$70 because we have 2 dogs and they DO NOT charge an extra fee for pets. Convenient dog walking area. Parking right outside our room. Microwave and mini refrigerator. Had bottled water and microwave popcorn in the room which made me smile. Nice staff. No animal or smoking odor in room. Good shower water pressure.

This puts other Motel 6s in the shade. The room has computer charging ports, fridge, clean microwave, 2 water bottles, and the towels were not the usual sandpaper. The office gives a free doggie towel and treat, and the flowers outside the room are a bonus. The grounds have plenty of dog walking areas, but they don't provide poop bags, just the receptacles.

I stayed here again because my first time was a good experience; however, I will not stay again after this. I was placed in a room that appeared dirty and not well-maintained. The towels were dingy and dirty, the shower was dirty (gross). I was also placed near others who were loud and closing doors loudly all night; I couldn't sleep at all (which was the purpose of my stay) and there was a nauseating smell of marijuana through the ventilation system the entire time.

This was the only hotel we could find. It was rated a 7 so I decided it should be good enough. I was very old and sketchy looking. Canopy was torn and faded. Stray cats running around. You could tell they had tried to update. It had new paint and furniture but our room had roaches crawling all under the microwave. We left immediately and didn’t stay the night.

The gentleman that checked us in was wonderful. Very friendly. The room was pretty small and the bathroom was tiny. There was hair in the bathtub that was not mine or my husbands. ( hes bald ) Over all it wasnt horrible, just could have been a little cleaner.

This is the first motel 6 I've ever stayed in because it was highly rated. Rooms have been renovated and it looks like they're still working on other parts of the property. 60 bucks a night I would definitely stay there again.

This is an older motel so yes it is a bit worn but I don’t mind as the staff is wonderful the rooms are always clean ( I have stayed there multiple times) the bed and pillows comfortable and great TV and wifi service Coffee and breakfast type snacks in the morning along with complimentary dog biscuits :)

Nice place to stay, very quiet. Front desk personal nice and friendly. A/C barely worked on cooling the room. There’s a nice diner across the street reasonable price. We will stay there again.

The rooms have cockroaches and refused to move us to another room or give us a discount for the inconvenience of the dirty cockroaches. The manager was not accommodating with this pest control problem and actually increased the rate of the nightly rate instead of giving us a discount.

Front desk staff was so friendly. Everyone that I spoke to was happy and knowledgeable. Room was clean and updated. Nice little perks, like candy, popcorn and water in your room. Even a hand written note thanking us for staying. We will definitely book this motel again when we visit Carlisle.

The Internet worked fine. This is a good basic motel, clean and, for the most part, very quiet. The staff was very helpful, especially when I couldn’t find the switch for the light behind my headboard. (you might want to label it). The grab bar in the shower was a nice touch, and very helpful, as I had knee surgery in summer and am still recovering. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room reservation was booked and prepaid one day in advance. The confirmation email and the transaction receipt were received promptly. During a call to the motel front desk to confirm their receipt of the prepaid booking, clerk advised that it could take up to 48 hours for the reservation to manifest through the reservation system and not to worry. When I arrived the next evening, the reservation was not pulling up on the in-house reservation system. The room reservation was booked and prepaid one day in advance. The confirmation email and the transaction receipt were received promptly. During a call to the motel front desk to confirm their receipt of the prepaid booking, clerk advised that it could take up to 48 hours for the reservation to manifest through the reservation system and not to worry. When I arrived the next evening, the reservation was not pulling up on the in-house reservation system. Surprisingly nice for an economy lodging. My only complaint is that I asked for wake-up calls because my cel phone had died, and they didn't call me.

It was a functional place to stay for our swap meet in Carslisle. Cheap and ok, though the area wasnt as nice as some of the others in the area. For the price and the minimal time we were there it was worth saving the money. Will stay again.

The room was comfy and clean. The only slight challenge is that there is a fleet of truck beds that uses the other side of the parking lot. For about an hour, or so they were coming to pick up or drop off. FORTUNATELY, the sound of trucks ended at about 9pm.

This is an older motel so yes it is a bit worn but I don’t mind as the staff is wonderful the rooms are always clean ( I have stayed there multiple times) the bed and pillows comfortable and great TV and wifi service Coffee and breakfast type snacks in the morning along with complimentary dog biscuits :)

Nice place to stay, very quiet. Front desk personal nice and friendly. A/C barely worked on cooling the room. There’s a nice diner across the street reasonable price. We will stay there again.

The young lady at check in was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy and well stocked. The bag of microwave popcorn and the bottles of water were such a nice touch. We had to leave very early so we didn't get experience the breakfast but I have a feeling that it would have been very nice. This is the first place we have ever stayed where pets are truly welcome (and at no charge). We will definitely be back on our next trip thru Pennsylvania. Thank you so much.

It was a good hotel for the price. Saved $50-$70 because we have 2 dogs and they DO NOT charge an extra fee for pets. Convenient dog walking area. Parking right outside our room. Microwave and mini refrigerator. Had bottled water and microwave popcorn in the room which made me smile. Nice staff. No animal or smoking odor in room. Good shower water pressure.

This puts other Motel 6s in the shade. The room has computer charging ports, fridge, clean microwave, 2 water bottles, and the towels were not the usual sandpaper. The office gives a free doggie towel and treat, and the flowers outside the room are a bonus. The grounds have plenty of dog walking areas, but they don't provide poop bags, just the receptacles.

I was looking for a nice, clean place to stay overnight after a trip to Hersheypark, and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. It's not fancy, the decor's a little outdated, but the room was nice and clean, and the beds were comfy. The young man, Dakota, who checked me and my daughter in was efficient, friendly, and gave us good recommendations for good local eats, etc.

I have stayed at this hotel approximately 2 times a year for 15 years. When I first started staying here it was a decent motel. I know it’s an inexpensive motel and was a perfect stop just about have way to my destination. The pillows are hard and also the bed. The floor in the bathroom at the corners of the tub looks like they haven’t been cleaned in months. The back parking lots looks like a junkyard and it needs to be cleaned up. Looks like I will be staying elsewhere on my next trip up. The front desk clerk don’t remember her name she was pleasant.

I was honestly hesitant to book this Motel 6 because I'd heard negative things from people who stayed here in previous years. However, seeing that it was renovated and under new management, I decided to give it a chance—and I'm so glad I did! Check-in was one of the smoothest I've experienced. The front desk associate was incredibly friendly, had excellent customer service, and happily accommodated my request for a ground-floor room. The lobby was clean, updated, and the check-in process was quick and modern. The location is excellent—right off I-81 with plenty of restaurants nearby and only about 10 minutes from both Carlisle and Mechanicsburg. Our room was clean, updated, quiet, and comfortable. The beds were great, the bathroom was renovated, and I appreciated the USB charging ports, microwave, and refrigerator. We were traveling with dogs, and this property was fantastic. There was plenty of space to walk them, the grounds were clean, and I even saw an employee leaf blowing the sidewalks. I also felt safe walking my dogs after dark. The only minor issue was that the AC wasn't always blowing very cold air, but turning it off and back on seemed to fix it. Overall, I was extremely impressed. Great staff, clean rooms, reasonable prices, and truly pet-friendly. We travel to Carlisle for dog shows several times a year, and I will absolutely stay here again. I've already recommended it to many friends!
