2 bedroom Waikiki condo FREE parking 4beds

The location was nice, close by shopping, restaurants etc, but the street noise, emergency vehicles was non stop and very loud especially at night when you're trying to sleep. Absolutely no insulation with the windows in the bedrooms so you hear everything. Pest control guy came in the unit with no notice and unannounced. Good luck finding the parking, especially at night. It was very difficult as the numbers for the parking spot are the same color as the cement. The location is across the street in another building. Elevators are very outdated and sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. The pool was very dirty and looks nothing like it did in the listing so we didn't use it at all. Very disappointing. The shower head pressure was minimal and took time for the hot water to heat up. The unit has a coffee pot/filters but no coffee or cream to start your stay. Communication with the host was intermittent. Had issues the first night and took him over 24hrs to respond.

Value is good but not the best location to be close to beaches and Waikiki. Have to uber or bus everywhere. Building is dated with a small pool that was very cold because of shade.

Was clean but parking was a pain and last minute detail I was not aware of.

There was snorkel gear, chairs, towels, etc. that we took to the beach each day. It was super nice to not have to rent any extra stuff when we wanted to go out :)

We stayed for 8 nights in early July. Family of 4 with 18 and 22 year old. Dan the owner was extremely responsive and helpful. His description of the property is accurate. It is in a great location walking distance to the Food Pantry grocery and to quick markets as well as the food truck park. We also walked to the restaurants and shops about 15-20 min away for a nice evening meal and shopping. For car rental next door in the Monarch Hotel lobby you can rent through 808smartcar. They are a great deal and you get a deal on parking 25 instead of 50 dollars a night. The cars aren't the latest and greatest but they get you around. Our best part of the unit was the Balcony, roomy and breezy. Laundry is at the end of the hall. Beach supplies are great and we did use the chairs, we went to Waikiki beach which is about a 15 minute walk go further down behind the Army Museum ( a must visit and free!) the beach is nice there and has a great cocktail stand run by the military on the beach. Our favorite beach was Waimanalo Beach Park, lots of parking and a local gem.

The cost of the apartment was less than others listed and so very good value. It was less than 10 mins walk to the beach - Fort Derussy beach - I think much nicer than Waikiki as it was much quieter and right in front of a lovely park. Supermarkets were under 15 mins walk away, as was Waikiki itself. Busess were just a street away. So all in all it was a good location - walking distance to everything. The host Dan was excellent at communication and there was everything you could need in the flat - from very sharp kitchen knives ( so good!) to beach towels, beach chairs, snorkels, pilates ball, weights, yoga mat, all manner of cleaning products, and all basic essentials in the kitchen. As there was no one in the apartment the night before, Dan was kind enough to let us have an early check in. There were doors for both bedrooms ( not the case in many places - open plan living ) and a large comfy sofa in the sitting room. A good size dining table and adequately equipped kitchen.The pool is positioned so that it doesn't get much sun but was fine for a cooling-off quick dip. The beaches are stunning in Oahu so you'll just want to swim in that glorious sea Thank you so much Dan for making our stay very comfortable .

We had a good stay at this place. It's a little bit of inconvenience to park the car to the 5th level parking lot across the street but it's great to have a parking spot. It's not a quiet place to be at night. The two bedroom place is what we need. We did not stay in the place all day everyday, we're always somewhere. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This is a nice condo with lots of space to spread out. We appreciated all the beach gear. The owner was very accommodating. The street is a bit loud, but it is easy to walk to lots many places. Fun food truck plaza is right near by.

Accomodation is as stated, nice and close to food trucks/7-Eleven, pool is nice and deep. Everything went smoothly

The location was great for shopping and food. The room was easy to get to being on the third floor. We are used to city noise, so being on a low floor didn't bother us. Our only issues were the drop tile ceiling in the bathroom could be cleaner and the A/C above the tiles was very loud and shaky. I had to lift a tile and wedge the shaking piece of the compressor in place in order not go crazy while inside. Note for the next guest: The WIFI name and password is listed on the router, it is not what is written on the welcome sheet.Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Oahu, but something to dampen the A/C compressor shaking and noise would go a long way.

Our family of five stayed at Dan's place for seven days. The kitchen was wiped down, but it wasn't cleaned with proper cleaning products. We had to wash any dish that we wanted to use when we first arrived. The couch was comfortable; however, there were no extra linens for a fifth sleeping space, when it was advertised to sleep five. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The toilet and bathtub were not clean. The bathtub had hair and sand in it; it was dirty when we arrived. I messaged Dan on the first day to let him know, and he said he would check with his cleaner but never got back to me. We ended up cleaning the bathtub ourselves, and the paper towels turned yellow after wiping it. Furthermore, the towels and bath rugs had an odd smell, and we questioned whether or not they had been washed. In the bedrooms, we found large dust balls under the bed. Additionally, the apartment got very warm, and one of the fans was covered in dust and not working properly. In the main bedroom with sliding doors, there was a dried coffee spill that had never been cleaned up from the doors. The photos of the building amenities are misleading. The pictures of the pool are from the building next door and not available to renters. There is, however; a very small pool outside the lobby. I would not stay here again, and it’s a shame.

The property was ok. Very noisy but you get used to it. Kitchen was adequate, chairs were unstable and unsafe. Shower over bath needs more non slip stickers on the bath base. There was no plug for the bath tub. Once I saw the mattress protector and pillow protector I was horrified. In the other room she found a needle and thread in the bed she said she thought she was getting bitten by something. We had to wash/scrub the coffee cups as they were all stained. After we got home I had a query on the damage deposit and messaged Dan 4 times but he never responded once. There was no aircon for the week we were there but I think that was the whole building. 2 fob keys would be handy for 4 guests otherwise the other couple have to come down to let you in.

Suite was well-equipped. Bed had a good firmness. Really appreciated the ceiling fan and floor fans to keep the place airy and cool. The location is great for walking to the beach and catching a bus to other sites. Street below is busy most of the time so there is lots of road noise (we still slept fine). Cleaning was ok but not to professional standard (floors had a bit of debris and the bottom corner of shower curtain was a bit moldy). It would have been nice to have an extra set of keys since we had a larger group. Thanks for the great stay!

It was enough room for the family for the stay with a great location and access. The disappointing things were had to wait on keys to enter room at check in, there were roaches in the kitchen and in the bathroom and worst of all we ran out of toilet paper; sent message to host and never got response back so we had to purchase our own

The condo was well-furnished and clean. Near restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Nice to have snorkeling equipment provided. Only problem was very high traffic area with seemingly constant sirens and loud cars and motorcycles. Dan was a very good host and responded quickly to inquiries. Mahalo.

Great place with easy access to transit and just a short walk to the beach and shopping.The only downside was the back bedroom was hard to cool down, but the ample fans did help.

The parking was inconvenient and directions were terrible … the building itself was rough (no pictures included on the listing) … there was a used washcloth in the shower … there is a drop-down tile / filthy, dusty ceiling in the bathroom to hide an air conditioner (no bathroom pictures on the listing) … the air conditioner is SO loud it shook the walls and woke us up every night … the wifi listed was never found / offered on the list of options to connect to … AND we ran out of toilet paper!

The place was very nice and it was close to the beach. It was close to the intersection and was very noisy at night. The windows don’t close which is normal for Hawaii so it was not possible to keep the noise out.

The condo is great! The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has full size appliances, we only used the fridge- don’t cook on vacation:) Dan is great with communication & accommodating with last minute changes. The pool is adorable & gets great sun in the afternoon. The condo is in a perfect location- a 10 minute walk to the beach, and surrounded by restaurants, bars, food trucks & local stores! Lovely older condo with good view of Honolulu . A few minor glitches but overall it was a really great place for our vacation. It was rather loud at night from the street. Convenient to the beach. The owner was responsive. Would stay there again. One review mentioned roaches but we didn’t see any and believe me I would have noticed!

AC worked great. If you looking for a quiet peaceful spot this is not for you. MANY sirens day & night. Balcony nice but if you want it for sunshine youll be disappointed. Twin beds a little lumpy. King good. Couch ok but not comfortable for long. Kitchen fantastic.

Habe die Ferienwohnung für eine Woche mit drei Freunden gemietet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist gut. Zu Fuß braucht man ca. 15 Minuten zum Strand. Die Wohnung befindet sich im zweiten Stock des Gebäudes. Es scheint so als ob die meisten der Wohnungen im Haus Ferienwohnungen sind. Leider liegt die Wohnung an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Da die Fenster nicht mit normalen Fensterscheiben, sondern mit Lamellen-Scheiben ausgestattet sind und diese sich nicht vollständig schließen lassen, kommt der Lärm der Strasse auch in die beiden Schlafzimmer. Für Leute die eine ruhige Umgebung zum Schlafen benötigen ist die Wohnung daher eher ungeeignet. Des Weiteren würde ich stark davon abraten die Wohnung mit mehr als vier Personen zu mieten, da sie nur über vier Betten verfügt. Abgesehen davon sind die Matratzen durchgelegen und nicht sonderlich komfortabel. Auch der Rest der Wohnung wirkt eher abgenutzt bzw. in die Jahre gekommen (die Bilder scheinen schon einige Jahre alt zu sein). In der Küche fehlen einige wichtige Utensilien wie ein großer Kochtopf und eine große Bratpfanne.

The host was excellent responding quickly and very helpful and flexible with checkin and checkout times to work with airline and cruise schedules. The apartment has been nicely upgraded recently, very clean and has everything you need. Bring eyemasks and earplugs. Its a bright noisy location.

The condo's location was in proximity to everything and highly convenient for getting around. The condo itself was immensely cozy. Definitely recommend.

We were there for a couple of weeks and utilized the bus service to get around since parking is at a premium. Dan’s place is close to bus stops, scooter, and moped rentals if you wanted to rent them. Traffic can be a bit loud, but the a/c usually drowns out most of the noise. A short bus ride or walk to get to Walmart or the mall. We would walk to the beach as well. All in all a cute little place to stay.
