Staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet is the best. Rooms were very clean and all amenities were consistent with the description. Only issue is that it’s really far from the Center of the town and there are ton of flights of steps to get to the hotel and to each floor (no elevator). I do not recommend if you have a physical disability or for elderly people. Overall it’s a great stay for young couples.

We like our room, nothing great but it had a little balcony overlooking the water. The room was clean, spacious, with comfi bed. The bathroom was small, tiny sink and shower. The hotel in inside the gated village which was our goal to stay in town. They offer parking and you can walk/take elevator to town. The breakfast was good, however is not buffet and not too many options. Still, we loved our stay. Be aware, there is no elevator in the hotel so you need to carry your suitcases to the upper floor rooms

Wir waren in einem separaten Gebäude untergebracht mit eigener kleiner Terrasse. Das Zimmer war klein, aber völlig ausreichend. Das Badezimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Haupthaus war fußläufig 5 Minuten entfernt, wo wir ein tolles Frühstück dazu gebucht haben. Die Menschen waren super nett und haben zu allen Fragen freundlich und kompetent Antwort. JJederzeit gerne wieder gegeben.

C’était une étape sur notre trek de 3 jours. Nous avons logé dans un bâtiment à 200 mètres de l’hôtel. Nous avons apprécié l’endroit super calme. Chambre spacieuse avec petite terrasse. De plus, en étant tout en haut de la rue principale, il était facile d’accéder au port à pieds sans marches à monter ! Petit déjeuner buffet suffisamment varié. Accueil chaleureux.

Hôtel bien situé à la périphérie et sur les hauteurs de Riomaggiore donc au calme avec une jolie vue sur le village. Bon rapport qualité prix vu le succès énorme des 5 terres. Personnel agréable. L’hôtel nous a procuré une place de stationnement proche, dans un silo à voitures pour 25€ par jour notre véhicule y était en sécurité.

Nice and comfortable Room. Excellent service from staff. Overall great value. Hotel is at the top of the Main Street in Riomaggiore. There are nearby elevators if you don't want to walk all the way up/down the Main Street. This was a great base to explore all 5 cities of cinque Terre. we were provided with parking garage for additional fee of ~25 euro nightly.

The staff was very nice/helpful. Plus the is hotel convenient to the train station. (We had to pay small fee for the two elevators to get to the facility but the hotel provides a pass for guests upon check-in.) Property is well maintained and clean but the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Their complimentary breakfast had a generous selection of food and drinks. We enjoyed sitting at the communal hotel veranda enjoying the amazing view of the water and talking to other guests. If I could rate this hotel a 4.8 I would. I would definitely stay there again!

Very comfortable stay and superbly helpful staff, friendly too! Our room was spotless and clean and checkin was smooth. Quite the hike up lots of stairs but a beautiful view!! Especially from the breakfast terrace. Highly recommend!

The hotel was nice, and everything was very clean. The view outside is gorgeous. Air conditioning was great. For a small family this is a good hotel, as there is a big street with restaurants that is at walking distance. The only negative about this hotel is that there was no elevator, so if you have bags you must carry them up the stairs. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Check in was easy and convenient. The sheets and towels had stains when we got there, they smelled clean and it looked like the stains were old and weren’t able to be properly washed out, so it was a bit unsettling, but we were able to deal with it for the 2 nights. It was in a nice area, with great views but you’d have to walk up a bunch of steps to get to it when the elevator is broken, so that is something to consider. The breakfast was good, and had a few good pastries and cakes. Overall, it was a good stay.

Villa Argentina is quite a climb! It’s on the very top of hill. We got room 21 - with wheelchair accessibility when we didn’t need it. There was water around the toilet all the time. The room was clean but there were ants with wings of all sizes flying and crawling up the wall - zoom into photos. We had an incident with Julia - one of the receptionist who was overwhelmed with too many guests at front desk. She struggled and panicked then decided to finish all the checkouts before attending to us. Make sure you read all their instructions before arriving.

Nothing fancy but fine for a few days. Its on top of the hill in Riomaggiore so be ready for a little bit of hiking up and down everyday. Rooms are small and fairly old, but super clean.

Would advise to stay somewhere else, no AC in the 2 bedroom apartment, kitchen sink leaked, place was not very clean and had a clear insect problem. Was not worth the money we paid for our stay.

For the price it’s great. But coming from the train it’s a beating to get to the top of the hill. We were in the extra building at the first room. We went to be early and heard everyone enter the building for the next two hours. No coffee in the room.

The Staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate us. The hotel had parking access inside the gate to the town. It was very clean and there was a simple breakfast in the morning with healthy options. The only problem we had was that the bed was extremely hard. So hard the we both tossed all night and woke with terrible back and shoulder pains. The bathroom was clean but the shower was so small you could not turn around in it. Overall we give it a 4 as we needed a clean place to stay and the staff was so wonderful that it made up for the challenges. Thank you to the staff!

This hotel is a good value with efficient suites, clean rooms and nice patios. The beds are dated but the air conditioner works well. Very utilitarian and works well as a base for travel throughout the Cinque Terre.

Property front room had the most wonder views. The morning breakfast was delicious. We had to take 2 elevators through the mountain to reach the hotel. If you want breathtaking views get a front room, sit on your balcony and admire.

Loved my stay and i stayed 8 nights. Top of hill so you must love to walk. Mattress was ok, could have been a little softer. Walls are very thin so with noisy neighbors, it was loud. Need earplugs. Balcony room awesome with spectacular views. Complimentary Access to coffee, tea and water would have been a nice touch. Staff are lovely. Grazie!

Mycket bra, lätt att ta sig till hotellet med bra vägvisning på hotellets hemsida. God frukost, trevlig personal, fint hotellrum. Hade varit skönt med hiss, men å andra sidan fick vi motion i alla trappor :)

This hotel is WAY at the top of the hill entailing climbing flights and flights of really steep stairs. You don’t want to stay here if you are want to go too and from often. You certainly don’t want to if you have luggage. We had backpacks so it was definitely able. Of course you can always get a driver or taxi. There is supposedly a shuttle but it is sporadic. We loved the room and the facility but the host was extremely rude.

The room had an immaculate view of Riomaggiore and a small balcony! The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. The shower was on the smaller side for my husband, who is very tall (6’4”). We would definitely stay here again—we only wish we had stayed longer!

Viviana was so helpful and kind on our visit to Riomaggiori. Check in, parking, the information provided all made our brief stay in the Cinque Terre wonderful. We thought the location was perfect for doing all that we wanted - including taking the train to the other villages. Thanks for a great stay. The island was one of our favorite spots on our trip to Italy. The only problem was with the scooter rental company, which tried to take extra money from us when we decided it was not safe to use the scooter. They took 20 euros out of the 30 we paid. Fortunately, the hotel intervened and managed to get us another 10 euros back, so we only ended up paying 10 euros for the time they took to come to us. However, the staff at the rental company seemed inexperienced and unaware of proper procedures.

This was one of our favorite stays on our trip. Nothing beats the view of the ocean and watching the clouds roll in with the church bell chiming in the background. Continental breakfast was great for the price of free. The only thing worth advising is that there are A LOT of steps to get up to the hotel, and with baggage it is not a task to be taken lightly. There is a second elevator in the town that would have solved this problem, but it is still closed for renovation. We managed though, and enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and amazing location.

The hotel was very nice. Had a nice complimentary breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Location was high on a hill with many, many steps because the elevator was broken. If they fix the elevator it was be a great place to stay. View was amazing. Easy to take the train to other villages.

Great place to stay. Breakfast was delicious and view from terrace is gorgeous. It is high up on the hill but we learned about an elevator you can take to avoid the stairs with luggage. Service was great and room was small but perfect for what we needed.

The staff was very nice/helpful. Plus the is hotel convenient to the train station. (We had to pay small fee for the two elevators to get to the facility but the hotel provides a pass for guests upon check-in.) Property is well maintained and clean but the mattress was a little uncomfortable. Their complimentary breakfast had a generous selection of food and drinks. We enjoyed sitting at the communal hotel veranda enjoying the amazing view of the water and talking to other guests. If I could rate this hotel a 4.8 I would. I would definitely stay there again!

The staff were lovely, kind, and knowledgeable. The apartment was clean and quiet with lots of natural light! This apartment didn’t have a view of the sea, but it did have a lovely terrace that you could see Riomaggiore from. And just steps away was the Wonderful shared terrace with a view of the sea!! I also must say the breakfast was incredible. Included things that might be typical for American breakfast (hardboiled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast) as well as Italian breakfast (meats, cheeses, croissants, baked goods, Nutella) including freshly made cappuccinos etc. Loved this place and highly recommend! A couple things to note: the queen bed is two twins pushed together and they did kind of separate throughout the night which was a little awkward. Also, the elevators for getting up the hill are broken most the time and the option is to carry your bags up a steep hill for a long way. That said, you can get local Roberto to drive your luggage up and then the walk is actually not bad at all, pretty beautiful. Villa Argentina will send you Roberto‘s number in an email. €10 was a good price to not have to carry my luggage all the way up the hill!

The property was very nice however it was far up from the town, and if you are not a hiker, transportation can be a challenge, especially with luggage. A 5 minute ride up to the hotel is €15 after a one hour wait for the taxi. Same checking out. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet had some nice things available, but it was not self service so it added an element of control that we found surprising. But overall it is a very quiet place away from everything.
