Hotel is a little dated. Rooms need atencion. Remote control didn't work. In-house phone also didn't work. Front desk didn't answer my calls on the phone number listed on their pages till the next day hotel answered. Staff really friendly and warming. Swimming pool areas also need atencion. Jacuzzi the paint was peeling.

We had a great stay at Real del Mar Hotel & Golf Resort! The staff was super friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the on-site restaurant—the pizzas were delicious, and the pesto pizza was a standout! It was also really convenient to have an Oxxo and a bar right inside the resort. Although we didn’t use the jacuzzi or the pool, it was nice to know they were available. Parking was easy and conveniently located near our room. Would definitely stay again!

I would stay here again but ya its dated. Let's be real here, this place needs some updates but this is a safe place to sleep in a sketchy place. I felt safe and it was a great deal. The good: clean, AMAZING VIEW and I mean AMAZING, delicious food and yummy drinks. Great price for ease of mind, parking was free, they have security, pool but cold, full kitchen and living room The bad:

Property was easy to get to, you are greeted by a guard and the check-in process was very quick which was great after being on the road for 5 hours. From the outside and via pics the resort looks a lot nicer than what it is. For the price though, it wasn’t bad but there were some things that made me wonder if our room had been unoccupied for a few years. I opened the window in the bedroom and ended up with a bunch of white powder all over my clothes and the top of my head. Whatever that was, it was all over the curtains. It got on my kids too. Some drawers didn’t close all the way in the bathroom sink. The ceiling had some cracks. Overall not terrible but I think at the very least the curtains should be replaced, the window screen replaced as well. The AC worked well, the fridge, microwave etc all worked great. The pool was cold, the jacuzzi too. This was after 6pm though. No ATM on site. Parking is great, you park right in front of your room. The Oxxo conveniently within walking distance inside the property and closes at midnight giving you plenty of time to get in there. The restaurant Brunette was awesome. The food was great and the service even better.

The laundry room for guests does not exist. No room service. No spa. Room was large. Hot water was good. If is older but nice very simple place. Lots of stairs. Staff was nice. Don’t eat at the restaurant but the bar is super cool.

We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Room and restroom were clean but the kitchen area and vents were really dirty the microwave and refrigerator were not clean either.

Every July, my family of 50 (sometimes 75 ) has a birthday/summer gathering. This year, we decided on this hotel. All was good until we actually arrived. Weeks prior, we checked to make sure the hotel could accommodate our family. They said yes. We asked for an area to gather, bbq, and play Cornhole. Sure, they said. Upon arrival, we discovered there was a wedding taking over the areas we had designated for our family. It would've been nice if they told us that. We were limited and confined to the pool area. There were communal restrooms that we and the wedding party shared. As more people used these restrooms, the smell of sewage would grow. Our rooms were lackluster with old decor. Our beds were very OLD. We brought our own sheets since the covers looked like they were from 1984. There was NO hot water in the showers. Wait a little while, they said. 10 minutes of running water, nothing. Needless to say, my hot flashes were my saving grace that weekend. Just outside our window was an atrocious smell of the sewer. It only got worse as the weekend went on. Since there was a wedding, my entire family was shoved aside to accommodate them. We went to the onsite restaurant to have dinner. Our wait was over 1.5 hours for food since there was the wedding party having their dinner. We watched as plates came out and they were not ours. On the last evening of our stay, the sewage smell emanated into our room and it was unbearable. We left at 4:00 a.m. I give them a -10.

El acceso para las personas mayores no es nada fácil!!! El aseo de la habitación a simple vista se ve bien, pero los niños jugando a las escondidas salieron TAPIZADOS de polvo de atrás de las cortinas……..en algún momento tenían variedad de restaurants ahorita solo hay uno (el cual está bastante bien).

The property is awesome. The room has everything you need, very clean. The view was breathtaking . The staff very nice. Alberto was awesome took us around the community telling a lot history of the property. Excellent staff service. I will stay again for sure.

It’s a beautiful hotel. The rooms are like small apartments with a room, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and balcony. The property is clean. The bathroom is large. it has cold and hot water. The kitchen has a refrigerator. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The restaurant I think is open until midnight and the bar until 2 am. My room had a view of the golf course and the ocean. There's a convenience store (Oxxo) inside the hotel. If you are going out, take an Uber because taxis are very expensive. From the hotel, an Uber to Rosarito is only $9.

We have a bad experience. The hotel lacks maintenance and the installations are in poor condition. We had an Iron that overheated and damaged clothes. The room had a deep smell like moldy. We spoke to management and they were rude.

I would stay here again but ya its dated. Let's be real here, this place needs some updates but this is a safe place to sleep in a sketchy place. I felt safe and it was a great deal. The good: clean, AMAZING VIEW and I mean AMAZING, delicious food and yummy drinks. The kitchen has a refrigerator. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. The restaurant I think is open until midnight and the bar until 2 am. My room had a view of the golf course and the ocean. There's a convenience store (Oxxo) inside the hotel. If you are going out, take an Uber because taxis are very expensive. From the hotel, an Uber to Rosarito is only $9.

Property was easy to get to, you are greeted by a guard and the check-in process was very quick which was great after being on the road for 5 hours. From the outside and via pics the resort looks a lot nicer than what it is. For the price though, it wasn’t bad but there were some things that made me wonder if our room had been unoccupied for a few years. I opened the window in the bedroom and ended up with a bunch of white powder all over my clothes and the top of my head. Whatever that was, it was all over the curtains. It got on my kids too. Some drawers didn’t close all the way in the bathroom sink. The ceiling had some cracks. Overall not terrible but I think at the very least the curtains should be replaced, the window screen replaced as well. The AC worked well, the fridge, microwave etc all worked great. The pool was cold, the jacuzzi too. This was after 6pm though. No ATM on site. Parking is great, you park right in front of your room. The Oxxo conveniently within walking distance inside the property and closes at midnight giving you plenty of time to get in there. The restaurant Brunette was awesome. The food was great and the service even better.

Every July, my family of 50 (sometimes 75 ) has a birthday/summer gathering. This year, we decided on this hotel. All was good until we actually arrived. Weeks prior, we checked to make sure the hotel could accommodate our family. They said yes. We asked for an area to gather, bbq, and play Cornhole. Sure, they said. Upon arrival, we discovered there was a wedding taking over the areas we had designated for our family. It would've been nice if they told us that. We were limited and confined to the pool area. There were communal restrooms that we and the wedding party shared. As more people used these restrooms, the smell of sewage would grow. Our rooms were lackluster with old decor. Our beds were very OLD. We brought our own sheets since the covers looked like they were from 1984. There was NO hot water in the showers. Wait a little while, they said. 10 minutes of running water, nothing. Needless to say, my hot flashes were my saving grace that weekend. Just outside our window was an atrocious smell of the sewer. It only got worse as the weekend went on. Since there was a wedding, my entire family was shoved aside to accommodate them. We went to the onsite restaurant to have dinner. Our wait was over 1.5 hours for food since there was the wedding party having their dinner. We watched as plates came out and they were not ours. On the last evening of our stay, the sewage smell emanated into our room and it was unbearable. We left at 4:00 a.m. I give them a -10.

Es genial! Me encanta ir. Mi lugar favorito. No es el lugar, es la gente. Vas a cantar Karaoke con Laura Torres mientras cenas. Te ganas unos shots! Sigues al bar donde puedes bailar y tocar la música que quieras y nadie te molesta. Al día siguiente a la alberca con unas cheves. El personal es lo mejor.

I love Real del Mar Golf Resort. However, I will give it an unbiased and honest review. The golf course is great, especially after the renovations in recent years. The common areas are beautiful, including the hotel lobby, pool, and jacuzzi area. Customer service is great. The restaurants are very good. The cons and room for improvement: The rooms themselves have maintenance issues. Old refrigerators. Some work, some don't. Air conditioning does not work in all rooms. Some windows do not have screens or have broken screens and mosquitos can get in. Some basic maintenance would go a long way to making it a true five star experience. I really enjoy their restaurants on site. However, unfortunately, they close at about 4:30 or 5 pm it seems, so Uber Eats or Oxxo are the only dinner options. All that said, I love this resort and highly recommend it to others, especially golfers.

When we first arrived, it looked nice from the exterior. It was nice that they had private security at the gate. The coble stone entrance is beautiful, and the golf course and beach views are a plus. One cool thing is they have an OXXO on property. Reception area was well kept and was very clean. We got our room and the AC was not working so they moved us to a new room. Room was clean but the carpet in the living room was filthy. Dark and a bit sticky. Beds were clean and sheets were very nice and soft. Pillow were standard and they did the job. TV did not have any channels to watch but that is ok, I guess. The most disappointing part of the trip was the pool and spa. The pool was cloudy and dirty, the jacuzzi was not working the water was cold. This was one of the things we were looking forward too, very disappointing. It was an ok experience. For the money I paid I expected a bit more.
