Not a bad place, but the sewer smell is pretty bad if the bathroom window is closed. Friendly staff. Night security guard is on it! Great place for motorcycle parking. Cold AC. Tons of food n beer close by. Will stay there again.

When we stay in San Felipe, we always choose this hotel. The room we request is fully wheelchair accessible, with parking right outside the door, so loading / unloading is easier. The 4 stars for "area around the property" is this reason: The location is downtown, a block from the beach/ Malecon. Main streets are busy and loud most of the time, so if you\'re looking for a quiet stay, you\'d be choosing much further away from the town\'s central activities and festivals. NOTE: They do have parking lot security, so it\'s safe

The room was basic, but clean with a great shower and security person towatch vehicles at. Close to town and waterfront and Malecon. The only drawback is it is a bit noisy with lots of dogs barking. That doesn't stop us tho. We have stayed here many times.

1minute to the ocean and beach! Everything (restaurants, shops, beach, etc.) are less than a minute and safe and sound. Very clean room. They even have cereals and milk, slices of bread and jam, cookies for breakfast though they don’t mention it. Very nice staff. There is an Italian restaurant on the first floor that we tried an excellent pizza from.

The room, though recently renovated, was rather small and spartan. Had to ask for a second chair. Television did not work at all, nor did the electrical outlet where the television plugged in. The restaurant was closed during our stay -- actually closed Thursday through Monday. Not convenient. Plus -- we were charged for two nights for trying to change the date within literal minutes of booking. Expedia tried to reach the manager to resolve, but was unable to. All in all, we could have done better at another downtown location. Disappointing stay -- but love San Felipe.

This hotel is centrally located and has security monitoring the parking area, so you don’t have to worry about your vehicle. There is a nice balcony sitting area in front of the 2nd floor rooms where we played cards and enjoyed a beverage. The room was ok, the bed was older and quite hard. Relative to other hotels in San Felipe the price was competitive, but that being said the price of 2 star hotels in this sleepy Mexican town are surprisingly high. We ended up staying a night here on our way south and again a few days later on our way back north.

This hotel is centrally located and has security monitoring the parking area, so you don’t have to worry about your vehicle. There is a nice balcony sitting area in front of the 2nd floor rooms where we played cards and enjoyed a beverage. The room was ok, the bed was older and quite hard. Relative to other hotels in San Felipe the price was competitive, but that being said the price of 2 star hotels in this sleepy Mexican town are surprisingly high. We ended up staying a night here on our way south and again a few days later on our way back north.

Very rustic vintage long in the tooth. Overpriced for this type of accommodation. Would not stay here again. Was offered a room across the back lane. Reception claimed the front end rooms ( which are represented in the advertising photos) would be very noisy due to main street traffic and nightlife action. Backstreet rooms are also noisy with traffic, barking dogs and howling kitties. $142.00 cnd for a one night stopover. Would rate room a 2/10. It was clean. Close to Malecon and restaurants. Friendly receptionist.

This place is perfectly located down near the malicon and all the bars. Which also means very loud, as the cars circle all night playing loud music. Thats not bad for me, istay up late and love to party. But what really is hard about staying here, the dog across the street barks all night. Like never stops. Now the rooms are simple and clean. Property is safe and has security. If that dog would be quiet i would stay here again.

Hardly a five-star experience, but it's San Felipe and was what we expected. We've stayed there before and would again. Central and close to the Malecon, can't complain about that. AC is noisy but it worked, included breakfast was very limited but adequate and made up a bit for the restaurant being closed for a few days each week.

It was close to the beach and restaurants and they had a security guard watching the parking lot. They also offered a free continental breakfast which was a surprise

Barking dogs through the night. Restaurant on site? Yes, but I didn’t realize I had to ask whether it would be open for breakfast. That’s on me, I guess. Rooms with zero power outlets available for guests to use. 800-1000 pesos a night and I can overlook some of these things. $90-100 a night and I expect more.

1minute to the ocean and beach! Everything (restaurants, shops, beach, etc.) are less than a minute and safe and sound. Very clean room. They even have cereals and milk, slices of bread and jam, cookies for breakfast though they don’t mention it. Very nice staff. There is an Italian restaurant on the first floor that we tried an excellent pizza from.

The room, though recently renovated, was rather small and spartan. Had to ask for a second chair. Television did not work at all, nor did the electrical outlet where the television plugged in. The restaurant was closed during our stay -- actually closed Thursday through Monday. Not convenient. Plus -- we were charged for two nights for trying to change the date within literal minutes of booking. Expedia tried to reach the manager to resolve, but was unable to. All in all, we could have done better at another downtown location. Disappointing stay -- but love San Felipe.

For the price, this hotel is a really great value. The staff at check-in were very kind, and I really appreciated the free parking as well as how close the hotel is to the beach. The room itself is very basic, so you definitely get what you pay for, but overall it looked and felt clean. There were only two full-size bath towels along with a few smaller towels, so I do wish they provided a couple more, especially to have a separate towel for our hands. The room was warm when we first arrived, which is understandable considering how hot and humid San Felipe is, but once we turned on the AC, it cooled down fine. My biggest complaint was the curtains. They are not blackout curtains, and the hallway light came through VERY brightly all night. If you are sensitive to light when sleeping, I would definitely keep this in mind because it made it difficult for me to sleep. I also unfortunately found a roach in the bathroom when I got up during the night. I’m not sure if it came up through the drain or where it came from, but it crawled behind the sink. Aside from that incident, though, the room did appear clean. Overall, for the price, I think it’s a decent budget option. Just don’t expect anything fancy. The friendly staff, free parking, working AC, and affordability were definitely the positives for me. I personally will not be staying again.

Great location just a short walk from the malecón which offers many places to eat and tourist shops. The room is basic, but clean. It has a shampoo dispenser in the shower, but no hair dryer. The breakfast offered is cereal, toast and some pastries, but many places nearby offer full breakfast menus at reasonable prices. We went during the week, so no real crowds. The area was still noisy at night, with loud music coming from cars, but just pack ear plugs. They are pet friendly! We would stay here again.
