The price seemed reasonable at first glance compared to other hotels in New York City, and based on the photos/reviews, it looked cleaner than many other options in the same price range. However, the actual experience was disappointing. The room and bathroom did not feel very clean. The towels were ripped, and there were many small hairs on the towels. The bathroom floor also did not look properly cleaned. The bathroom exhaust fan/vent had visible dust and dirt buildup, which was unpleasant. The shower water was difficult to adjust, and the bathroom shelf was barely hanging on the wall. Noise was also a major issue. I could clearly hear people in the room next to me, as well as noise from outside. The window seemed to have some kind of plastic covering instead of proper glass, so there was very little noise reduction, and cold air was coming through the window. Because of this, I had a hard time sleeping. Overall, the hotel is cheaper than many other places in NYC, but you get what you pay for. If you do not mind a very small room, lower cleanliness standards, and a lot of noise, it may be okay for a short stay. But if you are sensitive to noise or care about cleanliness and comfort, I would not recommend it.
