Our stay was incredible and we’ll be booking again. We had and incredibly warm welcome from the enigmatic and wonderful host Lisa! She made us feel welcome from the start, our suitcases were whisked straight to our room - The Merlot. Beautiful, clean, large, with all the modern amenities.

Wow what a great location and view from our pool view room. From our courteous welcome, tour of facilities to breakfast and departure everything was great and it’s clear a tight ship is run. The minibar is well stocked . Water is available for a fee. Breakfast is more than adequate with a choice of yogurts fruits pastries and cooked items. Although walkable, in the heat we would recommend using Uber to Franschoek. It is better value than the local taxis. Relax by the pool, enjoy the Mountain View in the evening. Enjoy a glass of wine! As a side not , although Expedia may take Amex, the guesthouse does not and you will need to use Visa or MCard
