We took a 7 year old and a 1 year old to the beach/ocean for the first time and the Mermaid Landing was perfect right at the street east access to the beach. Host had chairs and towels. The rooms were comfortable and relaxing. Definitely will stay again!

We loved this property. The condominium was clean the and very comfortable. My only complaint is the dishwasher needs to be replaced. It is an older model and did not clean the dishes very well at all. I don't mind doing dishes, but if you advertise a dishwasher it should be in decent conditionOther than that I would recommend Mermaids Landing to any couple looking to visit Galveston. The location was perfect, close to all the major spots in Galveston. It Was very comfortable and perfect for us.. Other than that I w

We had a great time at Mermaid’s Landing. Access to the beach was awesome. Amenities were easily accessible. Julie was easy to get ahold of and checked in to see how our stay was going. Definitely thjnmj g if conk g back for multiple trips.

Due to the weather, were unable to fully utilize all of the amenities. However, it was comfortable, clean and we enjoyed a well deserved break. I appreciated the property owners engagement with us to ensure we were comfortable. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

First of all the condominium complex is The Dawn not Mermaid Landing we spent 20 minutes trying to locate the property. Condo was infested with roaches dead and alive, and used towels had been left by the cleaning crew in the laundry. Also there were bunk beds in the walk in closet as part of the sleeping arrangements, really! so no closet and no privacy if you were traveling with more than two people. On the positive side great location, beautiful pools, wish they were heated, enough dishes, silverware and other kitchen gear for our use. appreciated the electric fireplace in living area and bed and shower were great.

The location is great, just walk across the street to the beach.However, this condo was not clean. There were dead bugs all over the floor, the shower had sand and hair in it and it smelled very musty.They had recently bought a de-humidifier and left the empty box and trash on the counter.Very disappointing!

We traveled from South Carolina. Were so pleased with this condo near the beach! Walmart across the street, and a gas station with gas for 2.45 per gallon. The condo was perfect, and so clean. Everything was as described, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The condo itself is cute and looks just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable. The couch is pretty worn and not that comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the patio in the mornings and evenings watching the waves roll in.

My family and I have been traveling to Galveston for summer vacations for the past 30 years or so. We always have a wonderful time and make great memories. We have stayed at The Dawn before it never fails to be a great location. The condos are always well maintained. The property hosts are always easy to reach and very accommodating to whatever the needs there are that may arise .

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The condo was roomy enough for our family. All the necessary were provided. Had a couple of things we forgot sent to us via Amazon. The office staff was kind and very helpful. The owners answered our questions promptly. Will definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful place. Across from the beach, had everything we needed for the family. The bunk beds were definitely a plus. Will absolutely stay here again. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Loved the location! Good-sized unit with large kitchen. Next to the busy road so not a quiet spot, but other than that, it was great!

We loved this property. The condominium was clean the and very comfortable. My only complaint is the dishwasher needs to be replaced. It is an older model and did not clean the dishes very well at all. I don't mind doing dishes, but if you advertise a dishwasher it should be in decent conditionOther than that I would recommend Mermaids Landing to any couple looking to visit Galveston. The location was perfect, close to all the major spots in Galveston. It Was very comfortable and perfect for us.. Other than that I w

We had a great time at Mermaid’s Landing. Access to the beach was awesome. Amenities were easily accessible. Julie was easy to get ahold of and checked in to see how our stay was going. Definitely thjnmj g if conk g back for multiple trips.

We traveled from South Carolina. Were so pleased with this condo near the beach! Walmart across the street, and a gas station with gas for 2.45 per gallon. The condo was perfect, and so clean. Everything was as described, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Julie was the absolute BEST host ever!! Great communication. The view of the beach was amazing. The condo was cute and tidy. We will absolutely be coming back here. Thank you so much Julie!!

It was a bit confusing to find the condo at first since we arrived at night but once we figured out which building we were and where to park it was a breeze. We loved how close this place was to the beach! We had an amazing time at both pools (one being heated was def a plus!) and hot tub as well. Only reason it wasn’t 5 star is because on the floor under the bunk beds and the master king bed we found cockroaches (belly up, thank goodness!). I know many bugs come along with staying near the beach and sand but I feel like the cleaning crew should have spotted it. The one under the master bed was huge! The rest of the condo was very clean. This did not hinder our stay or the amazing time that we had though. The place had sand toys and chairs to bring to the beach. Plus the walk across the street to the beach took less than 5 minutes (even with 4 young kids in tow). We will definitely be back!! Awesome location.
