The Manor Amsterdam

Clean room, beautiful common area, great little gym. However, there is construction going on, so it’s not easy to sleep in. Quite a bit of hammering and other noises.

There was a water cut that wasn't announced. No information availeble

Truthfully was a little dissappinted, promised alot when i booked with parking (the reason we booked the hotel) etc but didn't deliver. Dont get me wrong the rooms were lovely which we couldnt fault but the way we were greeted from arrival was someone what disappointing, we were here for 5 days (4 nights) we didnt have hot water one day due to renovation work (i assume) being completed on the same floor. Requested reception on leaving that day to rectify and when we returned that evening they assumed it had been done. Fortunately it had but no one had reported back to reception that it had been rectified so we have to find out for ourselves by turning it on. On refelection after a few days of being back and having a think about it would we come back, probably yes but for a higher end hotel we expected more for the money we paid for the accommodation. Sorry to sound negative but all in all could of been so much better..Although not the hotels fault but there are major roadworks going on outside at present and they were operating heavy machinery all ours if the night ehich did keep us awake at various points during our stay.

Momenteel verbouwing nog gaande, dat was mij onbekend. Fijne kamer. Fantastisch restaurant PepeNero, wel reserveren. Ontbijt niet gebruikt. Achterkant hotel is heerlijk rustig met uitzicht op groen, ook gebruikt voor honden uitlaten. Goede OV verbindingen en overige voorzieningen zoals horeca vlakbij en het prachtige Oosterpark.
