Great villa and lovely surrounds. Not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in though. Excellent having a private lockup garage and being able to plugin the EV. Hopefully the dining options improve a bit with time.

Check-in was delayed, with no form of recompense offered, but otherwise the property itself was lovely. Clean, spacious, pretty surroundings and access to 2 pools, which was much valued in the hot weather. We would return again.

Very convenient for those on a golf trip to The Vintage. Right next to the clubhouse. Good sizeable rooms with each bedroom having own onsuite.

Lovely and clean, and comfortable. Some of the appliances were a bit confusing and our washing machine hose wasn’t in the right spot so when I did the washing, the floor flooded. The taps were also turned off so perhaps someone had experienced something similar. They were quick to fix it and mop up the area - response was swift and great though. Lovely stay and we’ll be back. Great soaps in the bathroom, and such a spacious bathroom which was beautiful. Lovely plantation blinds and nice to have the outside area. Great pools to choose from. Easy to get around and overall great stay!

Our accommodation at the Grand Mercure Apartments was new and clean, bright and spacious, furniture was in great condition. the kitchen was fully equipped. In a great location, close to restaurants, loved our stay, will definitely be booking again.

Another great stay at Grand Mercure apartments. Nice staff. Unfortunately it is getting very worn and tired (frayed stained carpet, dirty stained lounges, dents and marked walls etc). Nice place to stay but badly need to replace carpet and soft furnishings for it to be decent standard.

We were impressed with our accommodation from the minute we arrived. It was very surprising to find a garage attached to the apartment and this made unpacking quick and easy. Our apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The Sports Bar is conveniently located for a quiet drink and meal. The surrounding area is great for walks and kangaroo spotting. We will definitely stay next time we visit the Hunter Valley

Our room had 2 bathrooms both with lovely deep baths. I would have liked it even more if a bath bomb or bubble bath was provided to use with bath. A trip into town was needed for this to make best use of the bath… I’ve added it to my packing list. Would stay here again was close to wineries.

Loved our stay here - highlight of our around Oz travels. Clean, spacious, so comfortable and a home away from home. Fabulous kitchen / cooking and laundry facilities. So peaceful, two wonderful balconies to relax and lovely pool. Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows and beaut bathrooms. Great lighting and air-con systems. Loved access to local gym and larger swimming pool / spa. The restaurant ‘Nineteen’ is fantastic! Garage was a bit tight for our 4WD and roof-top tent but receptionist suggested the nearby car park - thank you! Wanted to stay longer but will definitely be back for week long stay. So much to do and see. Thank you for an incredible time!

Our second trip to Grand Mecure Apartments in few years. Overall stay in Hunter Valley was good. Really impressed with the early check-in. Few wow factors that was missing this time were, room though was good but felt weathered. Doors with card slots weren't operating well and lock did not feel secure from inside though overall a safe place. Upgrades were declined straight away sadly and was told all booked but when walking around the place did not feel too busy or booked as restaurants and traffic was really quiet.

Perfect location for our weekend trip, about a 10min drive from the Hunter Valley Gardens, the major wineries and amazing restaurants. Apartment was cosy, clean and spacious. Surrounded by a golf course and a family of kangaroos. Secure garage directly connected to our 1 bedroom apartment. Lovely cafe van within a 1 minute walk serving breakfast, lunch and coffee's. New bar/pub and restaurant to open soon. Restaurant and day spa currently available at a nearby 5 star hotel. Only downside was that the room just needed a little maintenance from wear and tear but other than that, would definitely choose to stay here again.

The location was good, staff were helpful. The apartment generally speaking was good however, the fact that there isnt a screen door for the courtyard meant that we couldnt leave the door open for fresh air as the room would fill with mosquitoes. Also there was no door for the laundry so whenever you use the dryer or washer it would just be to noisy. Also the bed mattress was very uncomfortable and needs upgrading.

Had a great stay, such a well presented and thoughtfully planned establishment. Everthing within a short walking distance and conveniently placed. Rooms were terrific, staff friendly will definitely be putting this place as the go to for the Hunter region well done

Great modern property and location was the best we have experienced in the Hunter to date. Would have been 5 starts all round, except upon arrival we had a drainage issue in one of the bathrooms (which happens), and the smell was horrible. The issue for me was, there was no urgency for the staff to fix it and it took too long for someone to come out. It should have been and absolute priority when a guest is paying for a 3 bedroom house and 1 bedroom bathroom stinks! This part was upsetting, no apology either. (Not like I was asking for a partial refund, which I could have). I even went to the shops to buy drainage products at my own cost to try fix it and prevent the rest of the house smelling and ruining the holiday for my family. Luckily, no one was staying in that room for the first 2 nights, but it’s not the point. Besides that part being a bad experience, everything else was amazing.. house was mint, spacious, modern and gorgeous views onto the golf course. So handy having everything walking distance, as far as the nineteen pub and tab. Only a 5min drive to all that Hunter has to offer. Do recommend and will book again (but will again buy and bring draino clean incase the stain stinks again).

We organised accommodation at this property for our wedding and the days leading up to. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. The staff were very accommodating and made everything so easy! Would easily recommend this property and will be returning in the future!

Honestly, it was a great hotel. Nice pool. I like the garage style parking and the verandah that had a cute lizard camping out on our grass. Great location in the heart of thr hunter valley.

Just returned from an amazing stay at Mercure The Vintage in Hunter Valley, and I can't recommend it enough! Room 210 was an absolute delight. The decor was lovely, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. The peace and quiet were just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. Plus, the location is perfect! Just a short walk to Nineteen, where we enjoyed a fantastic meal and a shirt drive to all the amazing wineries. If you're planning a trip to Hunter Valley, make sure to book your stay at Mercure The Vintage. You won't be disappointed!

We were impressed with our accommodation from the minute we arrived. It was very surprising to find a garage attached to the apartment and this made unpacking quick and easy. Our apartment was spacious, clean and quiet. The Sports Bar is conveniently located for a quiet drink and meal. The surrounding area is great for walks and kangaroo spotting. We will definitely stay next time we visit the Hunter Valley

Great villa and lovely surrounds. Not the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in though. Excellent having a private lockup garage and being able to plugin the EV. Hopefully the dining options improve a bit with time.

Loved our stay here - highlight of our around Oz travels. Clean, spacious, so comfortable and a home away from home. Fabulous kitchen / cooking and laundry facilities. So peaceful, two wonderful balconies to relax and lovely pool. Amazingly comfortable beds and pillows and beaut bathrooms. Great lighting and air-con systems. Loved access to local gym and larger swimming pool / spa. The restaurant ‘Nineteen’ is fantastic! Garage was a bit tight for our 4WD and roof-top tent but receptionist suggested the nearby car park - thank you! Wanted to stay longer but will definitely be back for week long stay. So much to do and see. Thank you for an incredible time!
