Our family of five had a great stay at this property during our visit to Maui. The condo had everything we needed to rest, relax, and unwind after busy days on the island. The pool and access to equipment for games like tennis and shuffleboard were an especially big hit with out children (ages 9 - 16).

Property was great. Had everything we needed. The pool on property was great and the Sandy beach just minutes away had turtles sleeping on the sand at sunset. Beautiful place. Would definitely recommend.

The room was very nice and accommodated our needs well. It smelled good upon arrival, the amenities (washer / dryer, kitchen, spices, cookware) etc. worked well for us. There were plenty of beach chairs (7?). There was snorkeling gear for 4 adults, so I ended up renting a set for the week from the activities desk below. The pool / hot tub area was great and the kids enjoyed the shuffleboard and tennis. I would only note 2 drawbacks. One was the beach: ok for walking distance, but very narrow and rocky so not good for "hanging out" so we had to drive to other beaches. The second and biggest frustration was apparently our week stay was during the 1 time of year the property scalps and reseeds all the grass. This happened for 3 days of our stay and we heard nothing but yard equipment all day and grass was everywhere. It was disappointing we weren't aware of this schedule. We had such a nice room and the property was so wonderful, only to be overshadowed by the work going on. I'd definitely go back though.

Condo was great size for family of four. Two nice size bedrooms, and two bath. As with many of the condos here in Maui, definitely needed some maintenance completed And a good deep cleaning. The pool and surrounding grounds of the property were absolutely pristine. Location fantastic to get to all parts of the island.

This was the perfect location and condo for a family vacation. The lawn outside the back door was used by the littles to run around on and get their energy out. Pool area was clean, barbqued every night. Very enjoyable

We enjoyed the pool and the grounds which were maintained very well. The room had adequate space for all of us. Reasonably updated features in the room. We missed having a DVD player. We were thankful The pool was only closed for two days, was supposed to be closed the whole week, but this was not disclosed when we booked a room. Once we were there, we learned the beach is not an ideal place for swimming, so we traveled each day to better beaches.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The room was equipped with everything you need. Even beach towels and snorkel gear. The pool and hot tub were very clean. It’s quiet, slept great. Beds are comfy too. You can’t go wrong!

This is not one you should rent, I recommend finding a nicer one for the price. The unit is old and not well maintained, is in badly need of a refresh and lacks a lot of the basic things that would make it a place worth the money. The grounds and location are great and kumilani was great to deal with in the booking process.

Parking was good. There are a lot of parking spots that you can park in front of the property. It’s a little outdated and maybe need a little of TLC and update. The view was perfect. The beach and amenities are just in front of the condo. The only downside was cleanliness. I was told the property was not ready yet bc they are cleaning but I still saw lizard “poops” on top of the counter, floor and beside the fridge. It was so visible. I was able to sweep it but the expectation of they cleaned it was so disappointing.

The grounds and pool are beautiful. The unit we stayed in has not been kept up and needs to be refurbished. It was dirty, missing tiles, mold and rust in the shower. The refrigerator leaks water from the freezer down into the fridge everyday. Really worn and I will not stay again.

Very clean and fully equipped with items. Felt like staying at home! We had a very pleasant stay!

Loved the beach and enjoyed walking short distance to town. Our condo was outdated-white popcorn ceilings with black around edges. Neither bedroom had ocean views. Cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Our closet had so much beach equipment, we couldn’t put any of our things in it and we were there 2 weeks! The grounds were very well kept. We couldn’t spend much time in hot tub as it was over full with people who stayed in it for hours! We were able to use the shuffleboard and bocce ball frequently. We did have a nice time but probably wouldn’t return!

Clean condo with amazing nightly sunset view. Check in email allowed us to go straight to the room with keyless entry. Definitely recommend this place

this condo is so lux! clean, stocked with all the vacation necessities, comfortable beds and pullout couch. so so so clean. breathtaking views. love the push button access, no worries about lost keys. management company is professional and responsive.

While the overall experience was positive, there a few concerns to note. (1) We appreciate the need to conserve energy, however, the air conditioning units in each room can only be run for 4 hour increments. This poses a problem at night. To keep the rooms cool for sleeping, guests will have to compromise a solid night sleep to keep turning the air conditioners back on. (2) The floors felt grimy when barefoot. (3) The shower in the secondary bathroom is very small and could be challenging for some guests. (4) The elevators could use some TLC.

Great location, big condo for price, condo in good condition, big pool, excellent beach-going accessories, older building. Beautiful view, nice that it was not exactly west-facing as this left the lanai nicely shaded for much of the day. Bedroom windows along corridor side, so could hear people coming in and out of neighbouring.

The furniture is dated if that matters. I was interested in having a full kitchen & washer/dryer, which it did.

Our family enjoyed a four night stay here. The property is beautiful. I liked the murphy beds which were a good use of space in the living room. The condo is very convenient on the first floor and has everything you need provided. The bedroom is small but comfortable and is next to the parking lot and outer walkway with a sliding glass door that’s concealed with drapes. Sometimes people were loud in this parking lot during the night and you could hear them talking and yelling. That is the only minor thing that was an issue.

Amazing views from living and balcony area. The place was decorated really nice and had a closet full of beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear. The main living area was large and was a nice open space. the two bedrooms and bathrooms were on the smaller size , but the private large balcony and spacious living area were great. The property was well maintained and kept up nice. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very pleased with all aspects of stay. Shuffleboard, frisbee and croquet with the family on the beautiful lawn was awesome. Obviously the sunsets were out of this world. The unit was larger than we needed and living area truly felt like home.

It was perfect for the size of our party. We all had our own bed. Plenty of towels. Cute kitchen. THE OCEAN VIEW!!!!

Condo was okay, some minor issues (no light bulb in entrance lamp, only one wash cloth, coffee table & dining table not cleaned (sticky stuff) and master shower soap holder broken. Light bulb & wash cloths was handled. A very minimal credit was given. Bedroom air conditioner great but very noisey. Livingroom a/c not great. only if you sat right next to it then you feel the cool air. Living area with everything closed (doors & drapes) still very very warm. Mostly did not really appreciate sign on dryer that I needed to wash towels and bedding since a cleaning fee was added in for condo rental. Washed only towels, did not feel that I had to strip bed. Other than that great location for watching the sunset and walking on the shore and near Kihei shopping centers.

Walkable beach but not really swimable. Lanai is amazing, , well stocked- beach chairs , umbrellas lots of towels.

Small kids out of control in the pool. Screaming, footballs being thrown, unattended children. You need to enforce the rules. We'll look for other options.

We spent a week here at this unit and loved every minute. The check-in process was easy and communication with the host was very efficient. We would stay again, The location was great for us, however just be warned that this area is known for being quite windy. We had mostly beautiful days but did experience that wind lol.

The space was so tight. The furniture were too old and not clean. No response from management when calling or texting.The AC so noisy and not properly functioning. Overall not a good experience. Will never choose this place again and will never recommend to anybody else.

We enjoyed the location; the grounds were especially well kept and very clean. The unit was as described and had more than expected items inside. The unit blew a fuse at night, and the Maintenace staff was there quickly to fix. We hope to return.

I booked online while at the airport at home, by the time i landed in maui i received a call and the room was promptly prepared for arrival. Ive book at maui sunset for past 7 years usually on the property’s web page but this time i used vrbo. I will use this site moving forth as the customer service it included was superior. Either way this is the only place i will stay in maui.

Loved the location as we could easily explore the area and get the most out of our time on Maui! The condo has a really nice view of the water and the complex is very quiet.

The place was clean and nice, and the property is beautiful and well taken care of. The only down side is you can’t really walk to any shops and you need to drive everywhere (but since you have a car, it’s not that bad and shops are a close driving distance). We loved having the big grass area and walking along the beach. Plus the pool is awesome! The unit has everything you need :)

Great location. Quick destination once you land in Maui. Easy to get around to all the beaches, grocery stores, etc. very good set up inside the condo. We have no complaints about this property.

This is the second time we have stayed at Maui Sunset and it was just as great as the last. The property and condo were clean and just as advertised. The kids absolutely loved the pool and most afternoons were spent there with the kids swimming and playing while I read a book or socialized with others staying on the property. The beach on the property was great for taking in the sunrise and sunset, and there was great oportunities to walk along the beach and see trutles in the evening and early mornings. The location of the property in Kihei is great, with easy access to the main highways to get to the various other towns and points of interest on the island and a short drive to the many beaches and shops to the south. Overall I would recommend this property and condo to others looking for a two bedroom accommodation in Kihei.

The (1 bedroom sleeps 5) condo at 732sf was surprisingly large enough for us and our three teenage grandchildren. Queen bed in the bedroom, Queen pullout sofa bed, along with a 1 person murphy bed. It had two bathrooms with showers and everything worked. The kitchen was well equipped with even a rice cooker and deep fat fryer. The outdoor grills made great steaks and ribs. The pool was a cooling temperature and kept all the children active. The hot tub was at a very comfy level. The beach had a few small rocks and coral pieces whish made it a bit hard for swimming. Walking on the beach was always a new experience. Crabs, lobster shells, Green sea turtles sunning themselves, people fishing, and catching octopus, kayaking or paddle boarding. So much to do!! The pool area had a locker which houses a large array of yard games and beach toys.We didn't encounter any rain during our 11 days here. It was 88 every day and in the 70's at night.The staff here was very helpful and kind as if you were their neighbor. We had a great experience at the aquarium and the road to Hana. Make sure you swim under the waterfalls. Extra invigorating. We had the chance to take in a parade in Lahaina where 9 Islands were displayed. The costumes and flowers were very impressive. On fathers day we went to a car show at Wailea malls. Fantastic!! The blowhole on the north end was crazy. The Lau Lau is very tasty.Chickens RULE the island**It says I'm from Seattle but NO, I'm from Minnesota.

The location was very perfect and parking was easy. The condo's were exactly what we needed. A little outdated but having kitchens and laundry in the rooms was so helpful. The grounds were beautiful and it was ocean front. Pool was nice and refreshing, always clean. Hot tub was not hot during our stay. they were doing their best to get it fixed though. BBQ's and picnic tables were so helpful so our large group could prepare and enjoy eating together outside on the beautiful lawn. Office staff was friendly and very helpful from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. Even gave us a loaner pool key since we had to check out at 11:00am and our flight did not leave until 9:00pm. So we could enjoy the pool until we left. We really appreciated that!
