The exterior door to the room was full frosted glass. I didn’t need a night light for my toddler as the light coming through the door was more than enough. No curtain or blinds to cover it either. And when a vehicle drove in, the headlights shone through the frosted door and directly on the head of the bed. Woke me up. Being a medium stature person, the bathroom was super tiny. A bigger person would have a very hard time manoeuvring in the bathroom. And if you want the bathroom lights on, ALL the lights have to be on. One switch for them all. Otherwise the staff was friendly and the place was clean with everything I needed:

Very nice small cabin with private bathroom, TV and comfy bed. There was a fridge, mic.owen and TV in the room as well as heating and heated matress. Everything I needed for a good one night stay in Timaru. Plus the staff was extremely nice and helpfull!!!

Very friendly check-in. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful with our questions being our first visit to Timaru. Walked to the lighthouse then to the penguins. Returned late at night and had an awesome sleep in a very comfortable warm bed. The room is not fancy but perfect for the price and you just need somewhere to sleep.

Handy walking distance to Conference Centre in Caroline Bay. I was in a unit at the back and not troubled by main road traffic noise. Quite suitable for a 5 day stay. Manager very friendly..

Our upstairs king studio was good value for a one-night stay - staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and there were plates etc for limited self-catering. No water coming from the hot tap in the kitchenette meant boiling the kettle to do our dishes. We appreciated the comfortable couch and decent-sized dining set.

Whole house. Very old house which was actually quite an experience..pull chord for lights and shower over claw foot bath, took me back to my 20's.. 1 full length mirror somewhere, would be great!! But iron and board were very helpful! Needs some work on both bathrooms! Extractor fan in kitchen VERY noisy... Lovely big loung/dining area which was great for our family group ...12 all up... 7 staying in The House.. The house suited us as mostly only sleeping and showers... Couplands across the road!! Yes, I would stay again, as Im not looking for luxury accommodation and the price is reflective of this. Ps, the cat was a bit annoying.

Lovely big loung/dining area which was great for our family group ...12 all up... 7 staying in The House.. The house suited us as mostly only sleeping and showers... Couplands across the road!! Yes, I would stay again, as Im not looking for luxury accommodation and the price is reflective of this. Ps, the cat was a bit annoying.
