Sultan Cave Suites

We stayed in the Sultan suite and it was amazing, lots of room and a lovely jacuzzi. The restaurant upstairs was great and there were beautiful views from all over the property. We got to use the pool at the neighbouring hotel, Aza, which was very nicely situated next to a fairy chimney. The staff were very attentive and even helped us arrange some excursions that were some of the most memorable part of the trip. Highly recommend the Kings Breakfast! The only downside for the suite was that it was located under the terrace, so you could hear the music and people moving chairs upstairs until about 11 when it closed.

Roof top terrace set up beautifully and photo taking spots for hot air balloons. Room is comfortable. Staff service is good. Breakfast has different varieties for 2 nite stay

This hotel is totally worth it. It’s absolutely STUNNING and truly the best place to stay in Cappadocia because of its roof top terrace views at sunrise, sunset, and all times in between. It’s beautiful here. The details of the entire hotel and the grounds are immaculate. Detailed decor everywhere. So picturesque and artistic. The pool has a beautiful view even. In addition to that, the food is GREAT. The main restaurant is wonderful. We loved the live music Saturday and wish they had that more often.

Staff was friendly and efficient and very responsive on WhatsApp. We were able to arrange airport pick up for 2 people for 30 Euros one way. We were able to check in early since there was a room available. Their view from the rooftop is beautiful and they have the best rooftop set up with the colorful carpets and the food platter set for pictures in the morning. Breakfast is included at the Seten restaurant. It is a longer walk to and from the city center since it has the one of the highest view of the city. They also have a sister hotel next door where you can dine at their Restaurant - Happena where they can help you make reservations. We also used their Turkish spa as well which was a great experience!

The room and the service are excellent, but it was noisy near the room. Maybe because the room is near to a bar, and I heard noisy music all the time from the bar.

Hotel was wonderful, delicious breakfast every morning, at night they open a bar with great view to town.

This cave hotel was a jewel. Such a great stay....in all my traveling, this is my favorite stay! Awesome service, welcome surprise in our suite, immenities...oh, and the views! Beautiful hotel built into cliff caves with spectacular views of peaks and valleys. Very nice rooftop restaurant and bar with fabulous views. Small pool and hamam (Turkish bath) available at adjacent hotel.

This hotel is amazing, the staff are so helpful and I cannot recommend it enough. The rooms are beautiful, the terrace is a great place to sit and chat, breakfast I could eat every day

Acredito que para um hotel que se diz 5 estrelas, falta muito ainda para conseguir alcançar ao menos 3 estrelas. Fiquei no quarto grande de dois andares. O ralo do chuveiro não drenava a água, minha primeira noite eu inundei o banheiro todo. A pia também não tinha fluxo de água no ralo, enchendo toda vez que eu ligava a torneira. A cama não é tão confortável. É firme demais, não acomoda o corpo da forma correta. Já fiquei em hostel de 40 euros que a cama era melhor. O ar condicionado simplesmente não resfria o quarto. A temperatura estava em 21 graus e se atingiu 24 foi muito. E sobre os lençóis e travesseiros tinha uma poeira grossa que parecia farelo de alguma coisa. Pelo preço cobrado, deveria oferecer mais. Cobrar pela localização só se justifica com boa infraestrutura. Mas, o café da manhã é surreal. Todas as comidas que experimentei estavam excelentes. Tudo muito fresco e saboroso. As bebidas quentes são ótimas e são pedidas à la carte, assim como ovos e outras opções que não comi. O restaurante é maravilhoso, tanto no café da manhã quanto nas outras refeições. Os drinks são fantásticos, os pratos são deliciosos e muito bem servidos. O atendimento é atencioso e educado. Esse sim deve ser visitado por qualquer pessoa que vá para Goreme.

Mağara içinde veya taş yapılarda olmamıza rağmen her yer pırıl pırıldı. Taş ve ahşap temizliği kamufle edebileceği için suistimal edilebilirdi. Ancak belli ki personel işini seviyor, Temizlik iyiydi.

Although the hotel has a fantastic location at the top of the hill with wonderful views, there were a few things that we thought did not deserve the ratings we had seen. The breakfast buffet was very good, but the coffee was of poor quality. We had a junior cave suite but the bed was very bad. It snowed while we were there and although this was beautiful to see, none of the steps or stairways in the hotel were swept which made it difficult to get around with all the snow. We noticed that in the hotels next to ours all the steps were being cleaned regularly. It was also very difficult to get around the hotel with no sign postings to the rooms or the restaurant or the reception. The room was also very poorly ventilated and although we know that this is located in a cave/rock complex, there should be more attention paid to the ventilation of the room.

We had a family suite which was huge and very clean , the view from outside our suite was amazing we especially enjoyed the food at the restaurant in the hotel it was just awesome so was the breakfast buffet every morning . The staff was very friendly and helpful , Nazli helped put our tours together for the day I will def recommend it everyone !!!

Obed everything about our stay. The property was gorgeous and offered the absolute best views. The breakfast was delicious as well as was dinner at Seten restaurant. Our room was extremely spacious and spotless. The property is in a great location and was a 10 minute walking distance to downtown.

The hotel has a spectacular view of the valley where you can see the hot air balloons. My room was spacious and beautiful; however, on two occasions, I requested batteries for the air conditioner remote, and on two other occasions, towels for the room, and I never received the services. Room service needs to improve.

Loved this hotel! Super unique and roomy cave room with a delicious Turkish breakfast each morning and a made to order hot breakfast. Beautiful views of the city and the hot air balloons on the rooftop. Check in was very easy. Room was clean. Easier to navigate around than it initially looks.

Great hotel only a 15 minute walk from downtown. The bus passes right in front too. There was free parking in the back of the hotel. The only thing is that the walls are paper thin so I did appreciate that they gave earplugs. Loved the backyard with the spa to relax at the end of the day.

Our junior suite was a two story room. Bedroom upstairs, toilet and bath downstairs. It was very inconvenient to go up and down the stairs esp if we want to use the toilet in the middle of the night. Breakfast area has a lot of flies. Breakfast was so-so. I like my stay last year at mithra cave hotel just next door. They had better bteakfast food w/out the flies. There really isnt much they can offer except the sunrise view. Seten restaurant was not that wow. It was just so-so. I expected more since they are known to be one of the best in capadoccia.

Arguably one of the top/nicest hotels you can stay at in Goreme. It really is a beautiful and unique hotel with quaint cave rooms. The Restaurant and bar are also beautiful with gorgeous views of the balloons. The service and staff was excellent, very helpful, and as pleasant as can be. What I was disappointed about was the fact that they charged me 40 euros for (2) very small plastic bags of laundry and never told me a cost associated with it...especially when I could have fit them in 1 of the small plastic bags. Also, I did not give them any sensitive clothes (as per request) and they still managed to shrink most of my clothes. My 2nd complaint is the fact that the rooms are warm. The AC unit did not work very well and every night was warm even with the windows open. It was a bit uncomfortable. My final complaint is that there were staff members outside of our room speaking very loudly from the hours of 4-8am most of the mornings. It was very frustrating. Other than a few of those complaints...overall, I would recommend this compared to other hotels in the area.

This hotel was stunning! I would have given it 5 stars but the only reason is the bed was not very comfortable. Besides that, the breakfast and views of the hotel are amazing! The pool is part of the sister hotel which is a 30 second walk from Sultan Caves and it was really nice and relaxing!

Room: cave room was comfortable and cosy. It was very warm even after I turned off the heater. I like that it is next to a quiet courtyard. The lights could come in through the large glass windows/doors so I don’t feel claustrophobic. Staff: great service. Mr. Mustafa Kemal, the night shift staff stood out for me. Very polite, friendly and kind. He looks out for the hotel guests when we are up at the area to view the balloons he also proactively offered to take photos for me which I appreciated. Breakfast spread was fabulous! Breakfast staffs were attentive and works very hard. Some hotel guests from one particular Asia country were very loud and noisy EVERY morning. One was yelling ‘Mother’ at the top of her voice. I will encourage the staff to feel comfortable to educate these guests to lower their volume so they are not a nuisance to others and ruin the quiet serenity of the environment. As tourists, we should be respectful of one another’s space. This was my second trip to Cappadocia. I would love to be back again.

First the staff at Sultan Cave Suites were tremendous. We loved the people. The setup for this hotel was charming as it was integrated well into the surrounding geography and caves. We had reserved a junior suite and unfortunately, it was not up to par with our expectations. It was small, had one tiny window in the corner and was a dark hole in the ground. I get that the experience of living in a cave would be the point, but for a junior suite and what we saw from other rooms in the facility, it felt as if we were stuck in one of the last rooms because they were overbooked.

We stayed in a King Suite at Sultan Cave Suites. The room itself was cool and comfortable, but the view was only of the courtyard, which is a busy walkway to the bar and restaurant. This meant keeping the curtains closed for privacy, and it was loud until the restaurant shut down. Towels were missing on arrival, and housekeeping required two follow-ups before being completed late in the day. Breakfast was good, but service was inconsistent—often needing to flag staff down, and our orders were wrong both mornings. The rooftop happy hour has stunning views, though service was just okay. Charges from the bar and restaurant also can’t be added to your room, which felt inconvenient for a hotel in this category. We booked tours through the hotel, and while the underground city was a highlight, some stops (like Pigeon Valley and the wine tasting) felt repetitive or underwhelming. The group tour guide was excellent, but our private tour was disappointing and not worth the extra cost. The views are incredible and a big draw, but expect constant influencer photo shoots at breakfast and on the terraces. Service overall lacked polish and consistency; many staff don’t speak English confidently, which sometimes came across as unfriendly. Shuttle service from the airport was convenient but overpriced. On the return, a taxi was half the price and more comfortable. Overall, this hotel delivers amazing atmosphere and views, but falls short on service and luxury touches.

The mattress and pillows could be improved to a better quality. The mattress didnt have enough support and the pillows provided were all very firm.

In my opinion this is not a 5 star hotel. The service was poor in the restaurant and bar terrace. It seemed disorganised and staff were not particularly helpful. I asked reception 3 times what time they'd recommend I leave for the airport but all I got was 'we can arrange transport' which when I enquured was double what I paid by sorting myself. Also on the morning of check out I was told there were no staff to assist with my baggage and to do it myself. The breakfast at the farm was nice, the guide was chatty and friendly. Worth the short trip out. Overall a great location and rooftop terrace. Other than that average.

We visited many places in Turkey. This is the best hotel of our trip. Friendly staff. Beautiful views. Great breakfast. We booked two tours via the hotel. And our transfers from and to the airport. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend Sultan Caves Suites.

We stayed at Sultan Cave Suites in one of their Suite rooms and the facilities were great. The staff are amazing and couldn’t have done more for us if they tried, they helped to book many experiences including hot air balloon flights, atv tours, the Kings Valley breakfast experience as well as sorting transport and dinner reservations for us. All of our bookings were conveniently confirmed via WhatsApp with the details. The hotel also has a fantastic rooftop terrace and many quiet seating areas around the site to watch the balloons at sunrise. We also highly recommend the private breakfast experience with the hot tub as well as dinner at the Seten restaurant onsite and the Aiza restaurant in the sister hotel, Aza Cave. We are so glad we booked this hotel and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Cappadocia/ Goreme!

The location of this hotel is amazing, at the top of the main hill. It has the best view and you are in the center of the action. What really makes this place shine though is the service - the staff really goes out of their way to look after you. Each of the staff members really tries to make your visit the best it can be. Fantastic hotel!

I just wanna say this is one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had visiting Turkey. The hospitality was great the warm welcome. We got in the convenience to all the activities that the hotel offered was amazing. Sidiak Tunc informed on how to get around with transportation booking our hot air balloons and giving us a discount per the hotel rate and checking up on us every day and night great hospitality I could have asked for a better person to take care of us. The breakfast was amazing. We had rooftop views and the rooftop sister hotel private dinner was perfect thank you so much.

beautiful property to stay the only 2 things Do not depend on wake up calls the night customer service guy fell asleep didn't wake us up as requested , we went downs stairs and he was asleep Second restaurant staff a lil strict with times they will ask you to leave restaurant right after breakfast time is done. no time to enjoy beautiful seating view of cappadocia .

The staff is rude. Way too many stairs to get anywhere. The caves have no windows. It’s really long uphill walk to get back and forth from downtown. The food is terrible. Too many flies on breakfast buffet and NO AC at their dining. On a hot day we were stuck in our room because it was too hot to walk downtown and there were no other areas of the hotel with AC.

Everything was perfect. Hotel staff were very friendly and very informed of local activities. The bellman was very friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast was very good. The location is great because it’s at the top of the hill and has rooms made out of historic caves.

Great location and beautiful view of valley from hilltop. Driving is difficult from tiny, curvy street with parked cars if one is planning to rent a car

We enjoyed our stay at the Sultan Cave Suites. The hotel was as described on their web site and the views from the hotel were incredible. There were lots of sitting areas dotted around the hotel and the hotel is easily connected to its sister hotel, Kelebek. The organic breakfast in the valley was really nice and added a special magic to the whole stay. My only criticism would be the main restaurant at the hotel, breakfast was a bit disappointing and dinner was nothing special - staff in the restaurant were not as good as the staff in the rest of the hotel. But overall, very happy with our stay.

we had a fabulous time at the sultan cave suites. the room was a cave type room- cosy with lovely decorations. the terrace had amazing views of the city and countryside. The restaurant had an incredible view and great food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to goreme.

O hotel é bom, mas toca uma música eletrônica ambiente que se ouve do quartos desde a manhã e vai até 11 da noite. Horrível! O atendimento é muito solícito e gentil. A Cibele do café da manhã é muito querida e nos atendeu com carinho. Esperava mais do restaurante pelos comentários de viajantes mas não achei nada demais. Comi um macarrão com molho de tomate que eu mesma teria feito.

Great stay at the hotel. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff were attentive. There was excellent variety at the breakfast. There was also an excellent view of the hot air balloons from the terrace. Highly recommend.
