Very clean room. Comfortable beds, excellent kitchen area with everything you would need to prepare a meal. Great pool. Breakfast was very good with lots of healthy options. Every employee was friendly and helpful! My only complaint was the low water pressure in the shower. Will definitely stay here again!

I was very impressed by all the staff there, They made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating,The room was comfortable.The location was good to get to my husbands treatments, Breakfast each morning was fantastic, having a laundry on site was a plus. I can’t say enough positive things❤️

Rooms were clean, comfortable and large with lots of extra amenities. We only stayed one night but it would be great for extended stays. Staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Fitness gym was great and clean. Breakfast was average but sufficient. Would definitely stay again.

When I was looking for hotels, I specifically sorted for ones with a swimming pool for my kids to enjoy. We booked this one and when I was checking in, they had a sign on the counter that the pool was closed. I asked the clerk and she said they had to drain the pool due to a chemical imbalance. The manager later told me that it had been closed for several months. Expedia had no disclaimers when I was making the reservation that the pool was closed. I requested to cancel my reservation through Expedia and they said Marriott's policy is that you have to cancel 24hrs before your reservation, they spoke to the Marriott manager to see if they could make an exception due to the pool being closed and he stated "It's listed on Marriott's website that the pool is closed" so he wouldn't be able to cancel my reservation without paying the full amount regardless. We didn't want to waste money and decided to stay anyways. When we got into our room, everything was fairly clean in the living portion. But the bathroom and shower had hair on the walls, floor, and toilet. That's my wife's biggest gripe about cheap hotels and it still happened to us in this hotel. Also the TV was supposed to have free Netflix and other apps, but none of them were signed in. The breakfast was also disappointing for the price of the room. The property was nice, but we will never stay again.

Clean, spacious room. Easy check in. Clean pool. Great breakfast options. Travelled with our 2 yr old. Would stay again if traveling through again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern. Great set up with kitchenette. Good breakfast. Pool not working as of the day we arrived, so they offered free cancellation if that was a problem. From their helpful map, saw there was a small water park nearby, so we tried that. Water park was inexpensive and super fun. There was a minor league baseball game starting in the same area as the water park when we left, so wished we had more time to go to a game. Nice little downtown area and parks a short distance away. Will plan to stay here again the next time we come through.

I liked getting a suite layout with a good kitchenette. I did not like the mattress that was lumpy and caving in, or the unreliable car charger.

Check in with David was rude, king bed we booked and paid for was actualy a queen, shower has no pressure, floors were dirty, breakfast was horrible.. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Nice clean big room, you can borrow slow cookers, blenders, room is equiped with kitchen and is nice and spacious, breakfast is included and decent and parking is free

Loved the room was already cool when I arrived. Bed is comfortable, love the mini kitchen, and the shower was excellent.

The place is clean and set up well but the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. I would expect a Marriott to spend a little more on mattresses.

Average overall. The room was clean. We didn’t find the beds or pillows to be that comfortable, and could hear the noise of traffic from the highway which made it hard to sleep. We frequently stop for the night in Hays s as it is a midpoint for a common trip. Next time I will try to remember to book a place that is a little further way from the highway to reduce the noise.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel...the room is so carefully designed for the traveler in mind, so clean, so well-organized....it was a joy to stay in!

I pulled into Hayes at about 4:30 PM for an overnight stay with my two small dogs. The front desk check-in was efficient but unfriendly. I did not feel welcome by the person on staff. I was informed that there was a $50 nonrefundable deposit for the two dogs. A nonrefundable deposit is a fee so just be aware that there’s a $50 fee to have a dog in your room. My room was fine. The air conditioning was loud and you could hear the highway still I felt safe here and it was clean. Breakfast included some sort of spam literally spam and some eggs. I fed the spam to my dogs. I drink a coffee only if I came through haze again I would not stay here. I’d pay more and stay at a different hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and had everything you would need for an extended stay. My only complaint would be that the be that the bed wasn't comfortable at all. Almost like sleeping on the box springs themselves.

The front sofa bed, when extended out, tightly touched the front of the king bed, and this left zero room to maneuver around it. I had to climb over my wife to use the bathroom. Easily the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in. The pics are deceiving, this is not a suit. The shower was more spacious than the rest of the room itself, no kidding. The TV was too slow to use; Netflix wouldn't play shows. Plus, due to the lack of space, the TV was awkwardly placed on the wall next to the bed instead of in front of the bed like most places. We requested four extra pillows (we were three people) but got only two extra due to hotel policy. The beds were firm and uncomfortable and none of us slept well. The breakfast was equally, if not more, disappointing. Anywhere else would have been preferable.

The room I was assigned had a vent to the hallway fan, and I couldn't turn it off, which meant I heard it all night though I was wearing ear plugs. The Desk Clerk came and checked it but couldn't do anything about it either. That was really annoying.

The room was spotless, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. One of the best hotel stays I have ever had!

They were not willing to switch me to another room so I could have a bathtub. Even tho the website did say I would have one. Horrible customer service at this hotel. Not willing to switch my room for me.

Awesome service, very clean hotel, comfortable bed, reasonable price

The staff seemed courteous, especially front desk Christopher. Breakfast staff was on top of food refills and cleanups.

1.) check in clerk would not enter our Bonvoy info for points, 2.) ADA/ESA requires $50 addl for 1-night, not mentioned on resv, 3.) clerk reeked of cigarette smoke, 4.) 3 keys would not open room, had to repeatedly go back, no thanks! Traveling with daughter and toddler, plus small ESA pet, arrived late at 10:30 pm after all day drive - Got a snarky "have a great night" when I canceled and was leaving. Hotel next door was better in $ and hospitality. This Town Place Marriott in Hays run by amateur rip-off artists.

nice clean rooms, close to a ton of restaurants, close to interstate but no noise at all

Clean, quiet, well kept up. Staff was friendly. Safe and easy to get off and back on to the interstate. We planned to stay in Russell, but didn’t even get out of our car. This place was worth the extra drive time.

The hotel was amazing, but the breakfast was not good. Definitely worth the stay, but you may want to eat breakfast somewhere else

Property was clean and well taken care of. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint was the breakfast. A little on the gross side…powdered runny eggs, not sure what the sausage was, and the waffles were in a microwaveable bag and you couldn’t make your own fresh waffles. Only bananas for fruit. For being one of the most expensive places in town, pretty disappointing
