Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso Hammamet

This is def not a 5 star hotel. Staff is friendly but food is average, the building is old. You spend half the day waiting for the ONE small elevator.

Under construction, old structure, expensive price like European countries, you should buy a bottle of water everyday!!! Very expensive alcohol drink in hotel bar,

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. There are only 2 small lifts which broke down often and did not feel safe. The hotel smelled of a chemical spray. The pool was crowded with nosy children. Our rooms were not ready even though we arrived 2 hours after check-in time. The food was mediocre.

Very nice beach and friendly atmosphere.

Beautiful place and a fairly good value I think. Breakfast was great except the coffee was terrible. Service was excellent. Very comfortable and quiet rooms and beautiful location. Not much to pick at. Elevator was VERY small for the size of the resort and would never come down to the pool level. Other than that, I'm sure we'll come again.

Fantastic Experience! We spent the prior week exploring Tunisia via day trips from Tunis. Our four nights at the Raddison Blu were to simply relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge. The Raddison certainly allowed us to meet that objective. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and helpful, especially Sophia at guest relations. The buffet breakfast was delicious and very generous. The hotel restaurants serve dinner too but the hotel is within walking distance of some good restaurants and the Medina is a short taxi ride away. The outdoor bar on the 2nd floor is a wonderful place to enjoy the evening under the stars. Plenty of Sun loungers at the pool and on the beach. Staff even sweep the beach to ensure that it is clear of any debris that washed ashore over night. We stayed in one of the suite, and our daughter in a traditional room. Both very comfortable. (The suite was nearly the size of some apartments back home.). Our suite, however, was set-up to accommodate four with extra beds in the living room rather than having a dining table and larger sofa. (Next time we’ll make a specific request.) The Raddison Blu is definitely on our “let’s come back here again soon” list.

Petit point à noter : les mariages organisés le week-end peuvent parfois durer un peu tard le soir, ce qui peut gêner si vous cherchez le calme à ces moments-là. Mais à part cela, tout était parfait. J’y reviendrai sans hésitation !

Chambre sale, restaurant sale, rien était bien! On ne reviendra pas! On avait pris la grande suite 835 euro pour 3 nuits! Honteux la saleté et tout les meubles cassés et abîmés !

Wir sind in das Hotel gefahren ,weil wit es von früher kannten . Wir haben ein Zimmer bekommen mit einer Wand vor dem Balkon, beim Essen alles unorganisiert ,man musste sein Besteck selber suchen ,Kaffe ,Milch etc. alles leer ,der Pool dreckig, der Strand dreckig also für ein 5 Sterne Hotel kann man das wirklich nicht durchgehen lassen ,tut mit leid . Wir sind total unzufrieden..... NIE WIEDER

Categorically the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Please do not be sold by the images of the reception area, this is an extremely dated hotel with rooms that look like they are from the 60s! Hygiene is poor, the hallways stink of mould & damp, the rooms are definitely not soundproof, the water from the shower and taps smelt of chlorine, It takes ages to get through to reception and even longer to get things - we had to call 3 times to get an iron, our fridge was broken, our tv didn’t work, the door locks were missing, the balcony door couldn’t be locked, WiFi is awful, a member of staff from reception attempted to walk into our room because they didn’t know our room was taken - the list goes on! I can only assume the positive reviews on here are fake as this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. For a brand as superior as Radisson Blu, you would expect a certain level of service that this so called hotel failed to deliver. For those that would like a more detailed breakdown of our experience, please see below: After checking in and being taken to our room at approx 1:00pm we noticed that our ‘king size’ bed was just two single beds put together, the balcony door did not lock, the TV didn’t work, the WiFi was awful, there was no tea/coffe making facilities, there were no towels, the water from the shower and taps smelt of chlorine and the room was most definitely not sound proof (you can hear almost everything from surrounding rooms and the hallway). Very welcoming and professional staff, we had a great experience. Only inconvenience was the two twin beds instead of a double/king bed (booked a standard room for my husband and I). Overall great experience and would go again.

When we just arrived they gave us a standard room instead of the superior room that we have booked already and the room wasn’t clean also too much noise cause the balcon view was on hvac équipement, we went back to reception and when we asked them some of the workers said that this is the room that we have booked and «\xa0Expedia\xa0» doesn’t explain well the situation and he said I will give you another room with view on the sea honnestly the second one was more better but we didn’t find no bathing cap and no slipper. So I asked myself how should have 5 stars with this services and the bad hygiene And last of all that the “very big bed” which was in my reservation was in reality two separated bed near to each other with a gap between them and this is how we spend the night me and my wife ..

Very comfortable room. Excellent view to the sea and hotel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and considerate. I especially like the bathroom it was equipped with muslim douche. The tv was dated, though. And government regulations did not permit air conditioning till 30th May. So the room was barely cool at night.

The closet in the room needs maintenance. There is a problem with the balcony glass and there is a delay in receiving the room

Reception area is nice though otherwise it was mostly a letdown. Spotty internet and weak signal many plsces, including in my room. Unbelievable for a 5 star hotel. No hot water at all one morning in the shower. Another basic feature that most budget hotels can deliver but for some reason not the 5 star Radison. Beach area nicer on the other more cheap resorts nearby. Buffet resturant is good but you're paying for it.

Inga kvitton i poolbaren gjorde att jag fick betala dubbelt för våra luncher. Jag betalade kontant varje dag vid poolen men vid utcheckning fanns allt som obetalt! Stressad valde jag att betala allt, igen. Tråkig frukostbuffé och det var längesedan hotellet var fräscht som på bilderna. Sunkigt och inte alls 5⭐️Inte ens nära. Dåligt matutbud, pizza med 3 kilo fet och rinnig ost och hamburgaren var gjord av lammkött. Inte mycket ätbart. Kvälls buffén var däremot helt ok. Personalen trevlig och tillmötesgående förutom vid utcheckningen.

Expérience globalement décevante, malgré un bel extérieur Nous avons séjourné dans cet établissement en espérant passer un moment agréable, mais plusieurs points ont fortement entaché notre expérience. À notre arrivée, aucune serviette n’était disponible dans la chambre. Il a fallu attendre plus de 5 heures et effectuer plusieurs relances pour enfin en obtenir. Même situation pour les lits bébé, demandés plus de 24h avant notre check-in : ils ne nous ont été livrés qu’après 8 heures et de nombreuses demandes. En plus d’être très vieux, ces lits étaient visiblement mal entretenus. La chambre présentait de nombreux signes de vétusté : porte d’armoire cassée, peinture écaillée, murs gondolés, literie très inconfortable, et un mini-bar vide… qui ne fonctionnait même pas. Le ménage n’a pas été effectué le deuxième jour, et les draps n’ont pas été changés. Là encore, il a fallu contacter la réception plusieurs fois avant que quelqu’un intervienne. Les seuls points positifs : l’espace extérieur est agréable, la piscine est correcte et la plage, bien que fréquentée, reste belle. En résumé, un service très en dessous des attentes et un entretien général à revoir, ce qui est dommage car le cadre extérieur aurait pu offrir une bien meilleure expérience.

Agree with all the reviews that this is clearly not a Five Star Hotel. It is in desperate need of renovations. The buffet is also tired and repetitive with leftover food. But my biggest complaint is the staff. I booked this hotel to relax at the beach. My first day, I went to the beach after breakfast (10:00am). I was relaxing for less than five minutes when an employee (a very large man) walks up to me and starts shouting in Arabic, which is my worst nightmare as an American. I had no idea what he was screaming about. Apparently he was putting away the beach chairs and evicted me. I have no idea why. I went to the Front Desk to complain and they told me that Guest Relations would address the situation. GR finally called me late afternoon, took down the info, and promised me a remedy. I was not able to go to the beach all day. At 5:15pm, someone slid a folder under my door. It was a handwritten apology and a coupon for one free soft drink. I was stunned and insulted. When the employee finally left the beach (I could see from my room), I headed to the beach only to find they had locked the doors for the evening (it was only 6:00pm) and the beach inaccessible. I checked out the next morning. My beach vacation was completely ruined by Radisson staff and I only spent 5 minutes on the beach.

We had paid for a premium sea view room, we had to ask to be changed to get the premium room because they put us in the superior room when we checked in, and we were changed after the first night. The night crew receptionist staff was very polite and helpful, however the lady manger at the reception did not communicate regarding a tower card that was needed to get towels for the pool or the beach, we ask the lady Manager politely can we check out at 1pm instead of 12pm and she haven’t even looked at us. She was looking in the computer and saying no! without even paying full attention. the towel person in the pool he is always helpful with us but the one working at the beach threatening to charge me if I don’t returned it to him. We spoke with the receptionist about having someone to come visit with us in the hotel just for meeting and get a coffee and that was not allowed. No explanation why!! You cannot have a visitor come in to swim on the beach in front of the hotel unless they belonged to the hotel. Beach security guard said I can not let person swim even a visitor. I don’t know why no clear explanation. The lifeguard came in and interfere the conversation and said no you cannot have a visitor aggressively. The house keepers were very nice, and worked very hard to keep the rooms nice. As well as the staff in the dining areas, even though the prices of food and drinks at the hotel are very overpriced, No WiFi and no free water to drink. The beach is very beautiful.

Check in was functual and not welcoming. No towel card supplied until asked for. My room was very "red" and dated decor. The balcony door could not lock. The maintenance fixed it, but the cleaner broke it again rhe next day!! Buffet breakfast was very average. Pastries stale. Dinner was limited in choices. Very loud music played around the swimming pool from a speaker that was clearly broken and sounded bad! No where outside the property to easily walk to, so taxis are always needed. I thought Raddison was better than this hotel!?

engagiertes Personal schöner Strand Schöner Pool Gute Bedienung am Strand Essen sehr reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich und lecker - In der Gegend gibt es kaum Ausgehmöglichkeiten Hammaret an sich sehr schmutzig und unschön Man darf sein Essen, selbst Wasser und Snacks vom Supermarkt nicht mit ins Hotel nehmen. Unser Abholservice vom Hotel kam nicht und wir mussten ihn trotzdem zahlen

This hotel is very big. A little outdated but clean and has amazing views. You have to take a cab if you want to eat outside the hotel but overall a nice place to stay. I have stayed twice now and will use again as for the price paid its very good.

Perfect place in hammamat.

Nice location right on the beach. Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. We had half board. The food was a good mix of western and Tunisian and generally of good quality. Would stay again.

Hervorheben möchte ich das ausgezeichnete Restaurant. Die Speisen waren frisch und haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt.

Overall it was okay experience. But quality/cost ratio it was not worth it. Nothing special, we had a room on 1st floor garden view. The elevator went out of service the 2nd day and they did not fix it, with a baby stroller it was hard to go in and out. The food was delicious but expensive. The pool is small. The service was good overall. But with the same price you can have better experience in other hotels.

Very beautiful private beach, right in front of the hotel. Food is very good, and personnel is very kind. I\'d suggest "all inclusive" proposal as well, since paying to simply drink water is quite annoying.

Ristorante sporco, scarsa qualità e scelta del cibo. Soffione doccia pieno di calcare e mal funzionante. Dal rubinetto del lavandino in bagno usciva un filo d’acqua. Assenza di tappetino per doccia e asciugamani lavandino

We stayed in the suites an the room was very nice. The only thin that was not so great is that the shower could be cleaner. I only give this hotell 4 stars and that is not because of the shower. It is because the food is very boring and tasteless.

Personnel exceptionnel! L’établissement, la chambre et équipements semblent d’un autre temps. Petit déjeuner similaire à un repas de cantine ou restaurant universitaire! Je ne comprends pas comment ils sont évalués à 5 étoiles! Peut-être ils ont compté les étoiles au ciel
