The hotel rented out a meeting room to a local band for some kind of celebration below our second floor room. We called the front desk about the noise and were told the music would end at 10:00pm. The music continued after ten but the front desk attendant Dillon helped us to move to another room on the third floor away from the music. Once on the third floor we couldn’t hear the music. Thank you Dillon for helping us move.

This is a very nice motel, close to the interstate. Very clean, breakfast was amazing. Employees are very nice. Jessica was a gem 💎. She got us in so fast. 😍 grand kids was excited to swim, and she was kind enough to put us close to the pool. I cant say enough good things about the motel. And kelly was the breakfast cook, it was like eating in grandma's kitchen.

Nice new place but front desk was rude, not pleasant at all and never apologized…we switched rooms 3 times because of dirtiness. Tons of hair all over the sheets, not vacuumed, we found a bud and stems in the bathroom, toothpaste in the sink, crackerjack box, ponytail rubberbands, something running down the wall and mirrors and she gave us the key to a room that was occupied. We walked in on them. They need new help at the front desk and attentive cleaning staff.

Our 2nd time staying there. Everything went great like last time. The only complaint is the sleeper sofa was very uncomfortable on the 3rd floor. It wasnt the same as the one of the 1st floor. For a being a couple of years old this property has some issues. The first room we were in had no working AC when I woke up in the morning I had no hot water because they informed me that the whole entire hotel runs off one hot water heater after the AC issues they switched our room and upgraded me to a suite for free And it was much nicer. We still had issues with the hot water the next morning. If you stay make sure you’re in the third floor because the other guests can be heard through the ceiling walking around. In my opinion, the price was excessive for what the hotel offers. It’s basic amenities for four-star price ($193/night) but if you’re just looking for a place to crash, it works. They also offer a very basic breakfast every morning as well.

Friendly service. CLEAN hotel and rooms. Good location, plenty of parking. Very pleasant. We came for the 2024 total eclipse and everyone came outside to the front lot for a surreal experience. Very nice and i highly recommend.

Arrived for breakfast at 7:20, Unfriendly attendant didn't seem too pleased that I asked for a fill-up on the empty coffee dispenser... She never came out with any. Breakfast was good the day before, terrible this day. With the exception of the attendant on the morning of 9 April 24, all staff was super friendly, helpful and they are an asset to this remote little hotel. Would stay there again. Definitely recommend... They also do great cookies

The hotel is in Diaz, right across the line between Newport and Diaz, off a highway exit. It is within easy driving distance of places to eat and is about two or three miles from Walmart. The breakfast has a variety of options: waffles, biscuits & gravy, breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage links, pastries (prepackaged), yogurt, fruit cups, cheese sticks, cold cereal, orange juice, coffee. The biscuits were not at all soft, which I would prefer, and I thought the food, although in what appeared to be warmers, was not warm. However, I took the food to my room and heated it in the microwave, which made it taste better. I stayed in a Two Queen Studio Non-Smoking, which was spacious. However, I took the food to my room and heated it in the microwave, which made it taste better. I stayed in a Two Queen Studio Non-Smoking, which was spacious. Great stay during our road trip. Very friendly staff, clean, well-maintained. The breakfast was amazing! Biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham, Belgian waffles, coffee, and more. We didn’t arrive in time to partake but they even have menu items on order like pulled pork.

This location is good however, never could get the room at the right temperature. The young lady at check in was not in a very good mood and spoke very little, other than sign here and here's your key. Reception water and coffee was room temperature to cold: so no comforting hot tea for us to relax. Breakfast was barely okay. Eggs were over cooked, sausage as well. Selections were very limited and staff was no where to be found to request anything other than what was out. As for Eco-friendly, not here. Everything was Styrofoam and plastic wrapped in more plastic. This overall stay was definitely not worth the $150+ paid for 1 night. I do not recommend this hotel.

Stayed 3 days, 2 nights. 1st day was great, 2nd day great, leaving the morning of the 3rd day, not so great. Breakfast served 6 to 9. Arrived for breakfast at 7:20, Unfriendly attendant didn't seem too pleased that I asked for a fill-up on the empty coffee dispenser... She never came out with any. Breakfast was good the day before, terrible this day. With the exception of the attendant on the morning of 9 April 24, all staff was super friendly, helpful and they are an asset to this remote little hotel. Would stay there again. Definitely recommend... They also do great cookies

The bed was higher at the feet, then at the head and a bit lumpy. The pillows, five of them on the king bed, three of which or worn out completely flat or extremely lumpy, having been washed and reused too many times. Fortunately, we’re close enough to purchase our own pillows. I will say the place was very clean and the water pressure was amazing

The elevator was broken after checkin. We weren't told until we grabbed all of our stuff and had to carry it all to the 3rd floor. The person at the front desk said it had been down for over a week. Once we got into the room. You could tell it was clean but they never made it room ready. The couch was still taken apart for the sofa sleeper as the cushions were strung out still. Refrigerator didnt work and they had 4 dehumidifier in the hallway. For a newer hotel in the area it didnt seem as if it was being maintained well. There arent better options in newport....at all. Ive stayed at them all over the years visiting family.
