This is a beautiful property. Grounds are great, pool and hot tub are good and food at the on site restaurant was super convenient. There are not a lot of other good food options near by. If you can request rooms away from the hot tub as that stays a little noisy until 10pm.

A really lovely property, everything is clean and beautiful. A couple of times the electricity went out, but it wasn't a big inconvenience. The staff are super helpful, we stayed here our last few days in Guatemala and the town and this place were the perfect way to end it. Also - best tortillas we had in Guatemala!!

Hotel was great value for the price. Rooms were comfortable but walls are a bit thin, can hear a bit of noise sometimes. The hot spring pool is a huge bonus, spent a lot of time in there. Restaurant was good ate a couple of dinners there. Good view of the lake too.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! There is a beautiful pool, a thermal springs hot pool, a game room with pool and ping pong, and gorgeous grounds. The rooms are comfortable and very nice. The dining is nice, but the food is ok. Having said that, the dining in the area, including Panajachel, is only average. Very safe place. It is right by the lake.

This property was more than amazing !! It was definitely beyond my expectations. The chef A everything I ate was absolutely Amazing. The location was perfect !!!!!!!! Staff was always cleaning and at night they empty the hot spring and gives it a good cleaning in the morning before guest goes in . I will definitely return !

The property had a beautiful view that allowed for a view of the volcano and water. It was near a few places to get items from the corner store. The heated pool was great and allows you to be outside even if it’s cooler. The three things that J struggled with is the influx ant infestation that takes over the rooms. I have to get them out of my items. The other thing is that the location doesn’t allow for much transportation options late so be aware. And also, the breakfast options is only 2 items which don’t leave room for differences because it’s the same every day. Other than that, the staff are nice.

The outdoor private patio and daily breakfast included was and added perk. The beds was a bit hard but nothing unbearable and the walls are thin so everything can be heard from the neighbors. The location was well kept and the staff was friendly. The pool was bigger than expected and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The location was calming and serene. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful! Pools are nice, views are nice. It’s a bit far from the shops and night life but the cabs are accessible. The gate is closed at night so if you have no cell service you might be locked out. No AC but we had a fan. Overall very clean and very nice staff!

Very clean hotel with very nice front desk woman that spoke great English and helped coordinate a private boat for 6 of us to take to an Airbnb across the lake. We only stayed one night but I’d definitely recommend for a longer period of time. The rooms aren’t huge but they are nice and the grounds are pretty, well kept and you feel safe.

This was such a wonderful hotel. The restaurant staff were amazing. Very accommodating. The reception staff were exceptional and beyond helpful. I extended my stay because I loved the vibe and feel of the hotel. I will be returning in the very near future.

The staff are amazing! The waiters, gardeners and cleaners couldn’t do any more to make this an excellent stay. The hotel is in a less busy village but a tuk tuk ride of ten mins to the busier Panajachel. This hotel is set in beautiful gardens by Atitlán lake. The pools are a delight. The food was well cooked and professionally served with attention to detail. Tastefully decorated with Guatemalan paintings and objects which reflect the Mayan culture. We will return and thoroughly recommend.

This property is located around beautiful surroundings, the lake and volcano views are breathtaking, the village Santa Catarina is very charming , make sure to walk around it’s very safe, the staff at the hotel is at another level, they provided me with outstanding service and care, covered all my needs and helped me out around the lake with instructions and booking of extra activities, Natalia, Sergio, Mananeses, Osman y todos en el resort mil y mil gracias 🙏❤️✨

Con: Unhelpful staff. The tours organized by the hotel are overpriced. We were asked several times by the restaurant staff to buy them boat rides. The restaurant food is really not good. Didn't even think about doing laundry there: $2 US for panties and $1.50 US for boxer shorts (which is a bit sexist). You have to pay $5 US for a clean towel, even after 3 days at the hotel. Also, the bathroom was very old and not quite as good as the photos. The only positive point is the incredible view of the lake and the hotel gardens, which are very beautiful.

No habian teléfono en las habitaciones para pedir algo a recepción teniamos que ir hasta el area de recepción para pedir o preguntar algo. En el área de recepción a veces no había gente. La atención de la muchacha de recepción que estuvo de día fue pésima con muy mala actitud de muy mala gana, como si uno estuviese de sobra. Los alimentos en el restaurante de la única cena que tomamos en el hotel estuvo buena la comida al igual que los desayunos muy ricos. La piscina de aguas termales excelente muy relajante.

O hotel é lindo, os quartos espaçosos. O hotel não disponibiliza shampoo nem secador, mas o chuveiro é ótimo. A equipe é mais formal e, mesmo o quarto já estando pronto, eles não permitem que você faça checkin nem um minuto antes. Mas todos do restaurante e recepção foram muito educados conosco. O café da manhã é gostoso e em boa quantidade, já os outros pratos que pedimos não nos agradaram tanto. Achamos as camas um pouco duras, mas, de maneira geral, é um ótimo hotel.

Hotel santa catarine es un lugar bien callado y acogedor. Su personal es muy amable y servvicial. Tiene una excelente vista al lago Atitla. Y los volcanes y esta ubicado muy cerca de panajachel como a 10 minutos, es exelente lugar para relajarse, se les recomienda como cinco estrellas hotel

An evangelical church played super loud music til midnight one of the nights which was rough when you just need some rest. Hotel can arrange boat trips to nearby towns, highly recommend! But you have to ask, no handouts or information freely available when you arrive.

This was a beautiful hotel very close to the lake. There was a couple things that were walkable nearby but for the most part, it would require a 15 minute ride to do anything else that would be my only complaint outside of my bed being very hard. The staff was great. The food in the hotel was a little inconsistent. I ordered the same breakfast on two different days. One day it was amazing the second time I ordered it I was really unhappy with it. Staff and presentation at the restaurant made up for it. They really cared and we’re very sweet.

This place is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was included and was good. Not much to do around the property. I recommend searching for tours (not the one the hotel offered/tourist trap, way too overpriced) Cons: Dinner is way too overpriced, small portions and the food was not good unfortunately.

Beautiful hotel right above the lake, nearby to Panajachel. The hotel was really tastefully decorated with small touches. The rooms are spacious and the grounds are really special. The staff was fine, not super friendly but not rude. The food at the restaurant was tasty. Would totally stay here again. You feel like you’re at a place that costs a lot more.

This property was more than amazing !! It was definitely beyond my expectations. The chef A everything I ate was absolutely Amazing. The location was perfect !!!!!!!! Staff was always cleaning and at night they empty the hot spring and gives it a good cleaning in the morning before guest goes in . I will definitely return !

This hotel has been around since 1988 but it has maintained a high level of excellence. In fact, the age of the hotel gives it more pizazz than many of the newer once. The rooms look out on the lake or over the pool. The restaurant is very pleasant with excellent servers and the food is very good with a good menu selection. The bar is also worthy of note. Breakfast was included and was one of the best I have had in Guatemala.
