Un lugar bueno para alojarte está frente al centro de playa, solo que te hacen dar un depósito de $800 cosa que no menciona la página al hacer la reservación, el desayuno va incluido y es bueno, TV muy pequeña, no funciona el elevador.

It is not accessible for people with disabilities, there is a large flight of stairs and the elevator didn’t start until you were on the first floor. A stair railing from street level to the lobby would be helpful

Hotel room was very very basic but clean. We were only staying one night so it wasn’t really a big deal. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and restaurant and the live music. However, very loud club music started after the band and went until after 11:00. The place is small so I doubt there was any room that would have been quiet.

Unfortunately, this hotel was well below our expectations based on the photos we saw at the time of booking. There are two positives: the location is great, and the underground parking (although charged daily) is convenient. However, there are several downsides. As mentioned in other reviews, the hotel is heavily focused on parties — the music is extremely loud, almost every day, to the point where our room was literally shaking. The parties go until 11 PM, making it hard to relax or get a good night's sleep, especially if you're in Cancun for tours and good food, not nightlife. The breakfast was OK, but it only starts at 8 AM, which is quite late if you have early tours planned or want to go to cenotes or beaches early to avoid crowds — we often had to leave without eating. Our room smelled old, didn’t feel cozy, and surprisingly, there was no fridge. Even the hotel bar staff were surprised when we asked them to store some food for us. The hotel is clearly focused on parties and often invites external guests to join. Because of that, it’s hard to enjoy the pool or relax after a long day of tours — there’s little to no peace and quiet even during the afternoon or early evening.

The staff at this hotel is outstanding, from the general manager to the restaurant staff, to the cleaning personnel. Everyone is willing to go out of their way to help you and that helped make our trip great. The only negative thing I can say is about the repairs that must be made to the property. We stayed for a week and the elevator was out of service the whole time. Doing three flights of stairs (some of which are cobblestone) multiple times a day was a challenge.

Just spent a week at Caché Boutique Hotel. Location is good, 2 short blocks to Wal Mart, a short walk to the nightclub section of La Quinta. Was not noisy at night except Thursday night for some reason. I could hear a nightclub pumpin till after 3am. The hotel has events regularly, almost every night but they all ended around midnight. The events were often semi-private events, there was a birthday party, French Canadian karaoke, a BBQ for a group of older Quebecois people. Etc. as a guest, it was a bit odd seeing all these private events in the space that is supposed to be yours… to be fair, we were welcome to join (I think), but everyone in attendance knew each other and we felt like the odd ones out. The free breakfast was a nice touch, but it’s basic and small, you can add and egg, cheese, bacon etc for an up-charge. Coffee was included but it was NOT good coffee. One thing to keep in mind is that this hotel does not provide drinking water, which I found odd. I’ve been to playa many times, every hotel I’ve stayed at provides drinking water daily. Even more budget hotels. It was a little annoying but wal mart has giant bottles of water for pretty cheap. Which begs the question, why not just include it for the guests? The building is showing its age, but the beds were comfortable, cleaning staff did a great job. Room was ok. Overall our stay was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Cache. Great location and nice rooms. They do have live music at night so be aware if you are looking for something more quiet, but we didn’t mind since we had earplugs. The rooftop pool was also very nice and friendly staff. Gracias!

Great boutique hotel with some character from age, overall clean, comfortable beds and pillows, hot water, great room service, great restaurant food, free breakfast choices are an added touch. The location is the highlight, 2 blocks to 5thAve, Wal Mart, the beach and many great cafes and eating. It can be noisy at night and it hosts many late night events that can be very loud, so it’s great for fun but maybe not so great if you want it quiet after 10pm. Parking is 150mx/day. Loved the pool and the decor. Great vibe and great price, would definitely stay again.

Es una vergüenza este hotel, el peor servicio, te cobran cosas falas como el estacionamiento, y lo tienen en su publicidad, el aseo cada 2 días, la recepcionista es una señora muy grosera y prepotente, y la limpieza es malísima la habitación la encontré sucia el primer día, es un pésimo hotel mal servicio y te cobran impuestos inventados y te piden depósitos nada más sin motivo. En la vida me había topado servicio y sobre cargos inventados. En la vida me volvería a quedar ahí

Don’t bother. Keep looking for a better hotel. Best thing about cache hotel is location (close to 5th avenue). The rest is just bland and disappointing! Non existent room cleaning, towels never changed, breakfast was ok but small portions. We had two “suites”, with complimentary power cut outs, broken double glazed windows, damp smell, mosquitoes and drain flies. Sorry to say I was thoroughly underwhelmed with my stay, and if I had an option - would have moved!

The staff were all nice and helpful. The communal areas are lovely and they food was good too. The down sides are the room smelt damp and the condition was poor (see pictures) it looked like poor workmanship and lack of care. Luckily I’m a deep sleeper as the music is unnecessarily loud until 1am and we were probably one of the furthest rooms away from the speakers. We had a junior room and at full price it is expensive and would not be worth the money by a long way. The location is great though

I was to stay here 3 nights. Checkin was easy, but I had to take my luggage up a flight of stairs to even get to the elevator. Once I got to my room I noticed the door had looked like it had previously been kicked in. The room smelled terrible and I could tell they tried to use air freshener which made me sick to my stomach. The room was very old and the ceiling was caving in. The closet was made of particleboard so it was falling apart. The bottom of the shower was brown and nasty, but to top it off the sheets had stains on them. I went to the front desk and the lady came to take a look and when we got to the room the cleaning lady had just finished in my room. I pulled back the bed to show the lady the sheets and the stains were no longer there. I knew there was no way for her to clean the room and change the bed in that amount of time so I pulled all the sheets back and the cleaning lady just turned the stains to the bottom of the bed. The sheets were not just stained because I ran my hand over it and the spots were crusty. Also, I booked a non smoking room and cigarette smoke was coming through the vent. The music at the bar was so loud there is no way to get a decent night of sleep. The lady at the front desk offered me another room so we went to look what was available and it wasn’t any better. I checked out and went to another hotel. She did not refund me my money and basically said I was out of luck. I have pics to prove all of this. Avoid this place!

Property is close to fifth Ave and centro marketplace that opens nightly. Breakfast every morning was nice and great value. Evenings were really loud with live music. If you enjoy this type of setting you will love this place. It didn’t really bother us much. Only issue was sheet had a stain on it and they took forever to change it. Room had a slight damp smell. I also didn’t get my VIP parking privileges which I found out about after they changed me for daily parking. The bartender was the best and she makes the best mixed drinks!

mi prima limpio un poco de jugo que se le derramo con una toalla del hotel y le cobraron 100 pesos del deposito - piden 800 pesos de deposito y con la excusa que la toalla estaba sucia devolvieron solo 700 ( al lavarse igual que las demas iba a desaparecer el jugo aun humedo ). el cuarto que nos toco estaba con muchos cabellos en el baño y regadera y manchas en el piso que al parecer ya no se quitan, un olor algo raro y si entraron a pasar un trapo al piso con aroma rapido_ se agradece. el almuerzo sencillo pero bien , la ubicacion y el precio tambien muy bien. hay escaleras para subir al hotel mi prima no podia subirlas con la maleta creo si viene la observacion pero no nos fijamos que no es apto para personas con movilidad reducida.

We had a fantastic stay. We upgraded to the balcony room with a private hot tub and this was perfect. The room was spacious, strong AC, clean and the maids were very pleasant and generous. Breakfast was a choice from a menu and all the food was cooked fresh, filling and good quality. There were Mexican dishes, eggs or pancakes. The pool was cool and clean and also a good view in it from the roof top. We didn’t use the restaurant for a main meal but we did for drinks and they serve plenty of cocktails and have a party on with live music most nights until midnight. This was the only negative.

O quarto tinha uma janela grande de vidro virada para o corredor, e mesmo com uma cortina blackout nos sentimos sem privacidade. Hotel bem barulhento, com festas até depois de meia noite e muitas pessoas passando com malas no corredor. Chuveiro bem ruim (pouca água e não aquecida). Café da manhã bem fraco. Acredito que tenha melhores opções na região

Upon check-in, there was extra taxes/fees that we paid. We were later asked to pay them again after being told we didn’t pay enough at check-in. Paid the correct amount but the hotel didn’t have any pesos or dollars to give us change. Waited 2 days to get change. The room I booked was not the room I received. This is a party hotel, every night of our stay there was loud music until at least midnight. Our room 210 was directly over the patio/kitchen/bar. Music was blasting at 7:30 one morning after the after midnight party the night before. Woke up one morning around 5am with no running water. Water came back on around 8 or 9 but it was very brown. This ruined our plans for an excursion that was leaving by 10:30. Nothing said from management about the water issue or water bottles provided to even brush teeth or wash your face. We had an early flight so we were leaving the hotel before 7am. Thought no one was there at the desk, all lights were out. Having a conversation with my spouse about what to do with the keys and getting our deposit , a man rose up from the floor behind the counter, asleep and possibly intoxicated. He couldn’t get us or our other family members checked out properly as he was very disoriented. We had to leave as our taxi was waiting to take us to the airport, not knowing if we were checked out. This was a disastrous stay and will NEVER stay here again.

Es una vergüenza este hotel, el peor servicio, te cobran cosas falas como el estacionamiento, y lo tienen en su publicidad, el aseo cada 2 días, la recepcionista es una señora muy grosera y prepotente, y la limpieza es malísima la habitación la encontré sucia el primer día, es un pésimo hotel mal servicio y te cobran impuestos inventados y te piden depósitos nada más sin motivo. En la vida me había topado servicio y sobre cargos inventados. En la vida me volvería a quedar ahí

We had a great stay! The customer service was great! We appreciated the hospitality and care that everyone provided! The room was very clean. The location was convenient and walkable. The vibe was perfect for a girls trip! We had so much fun and enjoyed the breakfast!!! The only negatives, the shuttle cost advertised was not $90 but about $105 each way, or $1600 pesos. This really should state $1600 pesos as the exchange rates fluctuate. This is payable only to the driver upon arrival in cash only. But the service was great and on time. Aside from that the room was a bit outdated, the shower had very little water pressure, and there were no chairs in the room to sit down. Only 2 beds. Those to me are not that big of a deal but to some it may matter and are worth mentioning. I really loved the charm of this place and felt safe and well cared for. I’ll def be back!

Our stay was wonderful right up until checkout. The man at reception went to check our room and came back with a towel that he said was stained. My wife said it was not. He insisted it was and said he wasn’t going to return our deposit. I got mad and took the towel I bought from him. We went home with our towel. Washed it, and I am now HJ proud of owner of one WHITE used towel. We loved the place and everyone except the man at reception. We will not be back.

Amazing location, great vibe, and fantastic staff! We loved our stay here! The location couldn’t be better—just a minute’s walk to 5th Avenue. The rooftop pool and bar were perfect for relaxing, and the included breakfast was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. There was something fun happening every night—DJs, salsa lessons, movie nights, a live jazz band—great for staying in or kicking off the evening before heading out. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, even recommending a local beach to avoid the seaweed. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly and responsive and spoke enough English for me to get by. The location is great as it's within 5 minutes of the beach, 5th Avenue, the ADO bus station, tons of restaurants, and is immediately adjacent to a public square that hosts a weekend street fair. There were things that weren't in the best condition (furning with cosmetic damage, rust on the showerhead, AC didn't work in my first room, but the staff were helpful and changed my room to one with working AC), but everything was very clean. The restaurant/bar also had decent food and drinks and hosted events several nights per week, such as salsa dancing. I'd stay here again.

If I could curse on here I would. WOW not a good place. The bar was great, great food, great events but owner/front desk operations not the same. Terrible at handling customer services they respond or care to communicate the correct information to the airport shuttle which caused missing flights. Cleaning employees were great and kind.

I would not stay here again. The music was very loud and I could hear the sound base in my room. Man at reception called Amran told me I wasn’t allowed to take my towel out of the hotel, this has never happened before and when I couldn’t understand him he rolled his eyes at me. He proceeded to gaslight me and say in sarcastic way “sorry I ruined your vacation” I called him out on it and felt uncomfortable. The bartenders in the restaurant were very nice.

No water for several hours. Water pressure was not good any of my 6 days stay. The toilet did not work at all the last night. I had early checkout the attendance was asleep on the floor. He was not able to check us out due to he was very disoriented. We had a plane to catch so we left hoping the deposit will be on our cards.

Excellent and affordable hotel with live entertainment included every evening. Sam, the owner, is a great guy and it reflects throughout his staff, including Allejandro and Ezekiel at the desk, and Lucas and Luciano at the bar, fantastic folks all around. Even Sam’s mom Mona is a blast! I was upgraded to a room with private deck and jacuzzi tub and spent hours chilling in style. Tasty kitchen too, including some delicious Lebanese cuisine and a nice included breakfast to order. Location is terrific, overlooking the civic plaza and just two blocks from the beach and the main drag. Casino right next door. Great stay. Book this place, you won’t regret it!

Fácil de encontrar. En el centro un lado del palacio municipal, cerca de todos los restaurantes y bares. Él Ferry a Cozumel está cerca. El hotel estaba muy limpio y con aire acondicionado. Tienen eventos dentro del hotel (en mi caso, hubo música para bailar). Te dan un desayuno sencillo gratis aunque hay más cosas para pedir. Tienen una alberquita pequeña. Agua caliente y con mucha presión en la regadera. Quizá lo único que no me gusto era que cobraban extra por meter el auto al estacionamiento (afuera hay muchísimos lugares para dejarlo en la calle y, como es el palacio municipal, creo que estuvo seguro). Te piden dejar un depósito de $800 el cual me regresaron al salir. Más barato que un AirBnB. La verdad me gustó mucho y lo recomendaría sin dudar.

O melhor desse hotel é a localização. Somente 2 quarteirões da 5ª Av e em frente a uma linda praça. Muito próximo também ao terminal de ônibus ADO alterna. O hotel é bonito e parece que foi reformado recentemente. O quarto não possui janelas, somente uma parede de vidro que permanece fechada por cortina, pois fica virada para o corredor. O quarto é espaçoso e a cama confortável. O café da manhã e Ok, mas às vezes demorado.
O melhor desse hotel é a localização. Somente 2 quarteirões da 5ª Av e em frente a uma linda praça. Muito próximo também ao terminal de ônibus ADO alterna. O melhor desse hotel é a localização. Somente 2 quarteirões da 5ª Av e em frente a uma linda praça. Muito próximo também ao terminal de ônibus ADO alterna. O hotel é bonito e parece que foi reformado recentemente. O quarto não possui janelas, somente uma parede de vidro que permanece fechada por cortina, pois fica virada para o corredor. O quarto é espaçoso e a cama confortável. O café da manhã e Ok, mas às vezes demorado.

Amazing location, great vibe, and fantastic staff! We loved our stay here! The location couldn’t be better—just a minute’s walk to 5th Avenue. The rooftop pool and bar were perfect for relaxing, and the included breakfast was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. There was something fun happening every night—DJs, salsa lessons, movie nights, a live jazz band—great for staying in or kicking off the evening before heading out. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, even recommending a local beach to avoid the seaweed. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely be back!

Just spent a week at Caché Boutique Hotel. Location is good, 2 short blocks to Wal Mart, a short walk to the nightclub section of La Quinta. Was not noisy at night except Thursday night for some reason. I could hear a nightclub pumpin till after 3am. The hotel has events regularly, almost every night but they all ended around midnight. The events were often semi-private events, there was a birthday party, French Canadian karaoke, a BBQ for a group of older Quebecois people. Etc. as a guest, it was a bit odd seeing all these private events in the space that is supposed to be yours… to be fair, we were welcome to join (I think), but everyone in attendance knew each other and we felt like the odd ones out. The free breakfast was a nice touch, but it’s basic and small, you can add and egg, cheese, bacon etc for an up-charge. Coffee was included but it was NOT good coffee. One thing to keep in mind is that this hotel does not provide drinking water, which I found odd. I’ve been to playa many times, every hotel I’ve stayed at provides drinking water daily. Even more budget hotels. It was a little annoying but wal mart has giant bottles of water for pretty cheap. Which begs the question, why not just include it for the guests? The building is showing its age, but the beds were comfortable, cleaning staff did a great job. Room was ok. Overall our stay was good.

First, the service staff is excellent. There is entertainment almost every night. It ends between 11-12pm. I noticed that some reviewers complained about noise. Listen, if you’re coming to Playa and going to bed before 12, stay home. The food is excellent. The breakfast is good but light. You can add items for very little. Reserve the damn place, already and have fun

Clean room, comfortable bed Entertainment good, disappointing was the email the hotel sent me to verify my reservation, once verified it has listed breakfast free among other amenities but once we went to breakfast, they said we had to pay which was disappointed.

So this is not the typical hotel this is definitely a party hotel! The music is loud but every night has a theme and you don’t have to go far for fun. The room is very minimalist but the AC is definitely on point! Food was good. Close to everything and everyone was helpful and nice

We stayed at Caché for 10 nights in late April 2026. For 2 adults it cost us less than CA$1k, and we were very happy with our stay and that price! The hotel is small and clean, with a little pool that was perfect for dipping. Bar staff were very friendly. There is something on every night (hockey game watch parties, live bands, even a mini market of local artists!). As others have mentioned, it gets loud. Our room was a great size, with a king-size bed, a spacious shower and a lovely bath. The housekeeping staff also made our towels into the cutest creations when cleaning the room! Two issues we had with the room was that the WiFi often cut out (frustrating but not the end of the world) and there was a slightly damp smell (noticeable when entering, but not bad enough to bother us). Location wise, Caché was perfect for us! Close to 5th Avenue, without the noise of the strip. From Thursday to Sunday, there was a lovely food/craft market on the square, where we got street food and gifts for family. The free cooked-to-order breakfast is nothing to phone home about (ok eggs and pancakes with some fruit), but we did eat it every day. I have a feeling that if you paid extra for the "premium" meals you'd be more impressed. We did get two free drinks tickets though and my margarita was delicious! Overall, the Caché is a spot I'd recommend if you want to relax during the day and want to stay up late (or don't mind the noise). When we return to PDC, we'll be coming back to Caché!
