Best Western Plus Doha

We stayed on the 12th floor in a suite. The manager took over a room next to ours where he smoked hookah with the door open, he and his crew made lots of noise and regularly set off the fire alarm. I asked them to quiet down, but they were offended by the request and got even louder. The manager should party someplace else, he is a real jerk.

Room ok and location good. However, did not know there were 3 night clubs in the hotel and the noise (base sound) kept me awake during the period in which they operated (9:00pm-2:00am). Booked out of the hotel 6 nights early because of the noise and still waiting for the promised refund.

The staff was very non friendly, and the manager did not follow up on different difficulties we had. They served us alcoholic drinks when we ordered non alcoholic. You dont feel very at home. The crazy birds ate our breakfast so many times since they have open walls in the resturant. That was very annoying since we had a kid and we had to make them go away several times during the meal. The pool is dirty and very small with view to the other guests room. And the room is so small, the sink is literally 1.5 meter away from the bed, and the shower doesnt Even have a door, just a curtain in to the room. All in all we dont recommend this hotel. Its too overpriced from what you Get, and this comes from someone who has been to several resorts and hotels in Zanzibar.

Först och främst hotellet är inte för familjer, alltid för mycket folk som inte bosatte i hotellet, hiss är väldig segt, massor av folk efter kl 00 som går upp till discot eller liknande, ljudet under natten överdrivet

Shabby old hotel - we had to change rooms on check in - we had decided to walk away but they would not refund so we would have lost a lot of money - upgraded us to Diplomatic suite which is a joke - furniture is mis matched and broken - everything is old and shabby - bathroom floods when you take shower - we had to have tech to help TV work - twice and still doesn’t - whole corridor smells of smoke - there are ‘night clubs’ in hotel which we did not know about and very loud music plays until 3/4am every night !! There are queues for lifts each night ! Staff are a mix of kind and embarrassed and those who simply don’t care We were very disappointed - we are lucky in that we were able to escape the hotel for many hours each day and simply slept there The worst hotel we have ever stayed in - horrible

the breakfast could have been better, staff was ok, Spa was too expensive to have look or access...

Convenient location near to the airport (20 min drive), spacious room (I stayed in 5th floor 508- looks like a suit , easily 3 ppl can stay and noise was not a problem), offers reasonable amount of hot and cold food for breakfast ( different varieties), near to some of the places of attractions - corniche, souk Wasif .. furniture (sofa set in the was old and faded). spa treatment available (PH floor), taxi is around the corner and uber is easy to get from the hotel . Overall experience good ..specially for business travels and transit passengers .. it’s not a very fancy hotel but good value for money ..

This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I’ve ever had. Check-in was over 30 minutes late, and the front desk staff member who initially assisted me was rude and unwelcoming. I was first placed in a smoking room, which was unbearable. When I requested a change, I was moved to a room facing a wall, which was very disappointing upon just arriving in Qatar. The only staff member who showed genuine care was girl named Lovely at the front desk. She truly tried to help and temporarily placed me in a twin room, promising a switch to a king room the next day—but that never happened. The hotel is very old and poorly designed. There are very few power outlets, requiring me to crawl under furniture to charge my phone, and the light switches are inconveniently placed across the room. During my stay, I became seriously ill with an ear infection and required urgent care to come to my room. There is no phone in the bedroom, only in the sitting area, forcing me to get up repeatedly while sick. Service was extremely poor throughout: • Requests for clean towels and water were ignored multiple times • Housekeeping took towels and returned them six hours later I travel often and have stayed in many countries, and this was by far the worst service I’ve experienced. It was not worth the money, and I switched hotels as soon as I could. I would never stay here again.

Ik had enkel een hotel voor 1 nacht nodig in de buurt van de luchthaven maar wat een tegenvaller! De kamer was niet zo netjes, de vloer erg plakkerig, heel wat haren in de badkuip. Personeel mag wat vriendelijker zijn! Enige pluspunt is de locatie..

It was my first time staying in this hotel and had an horrible experience. I felt a bit of micro aggression coming from the front deck receptionist. I arrive first at the desk and the receptionist looked past me and helped another customer behind me. Shower did not work, toilet water kept on running off. They said will send a maintenance guy and no one came. I asked for an iron to iron my clothes and the guy gave an Iron that didn’t work.

Size of the room is anbleavable and very clean but it's noisy for the horns of the cars

Upon arriving - no one would answer the phone from the airport, so I had no one to pick me up. I got to the destination and ended up paying almost double what I had signed up for. They told me “there is online price. And there is in person price” Literally just preying on vulnerable people in a foreign country. They said “the hotel has its own exchange rates”. They also didn’t agree to terms I had emailed through. They made me pay for two nights despite not staying one night. I could keep going but yeah, you get the idea. Don’t stay there. One lady at the desk was nice and tried to explain to her manager that they should at least let me stay from 9am to 4pm as I’m paying for a whole day (and more). And she was shut down quickly.

Hotellet hadde ikke lest e-post vi hadde sendt på forhånd og dermed var ikke ting klart . Frokosten var ikke noe særlig , ellers bra hotell som ikke kan sies å være fire stjernes lenger.
