We had a great room with an awesome view. Parking was great. Had a good breakfast of waffles and cereal. Very clean and comfortable.

This motel is fine for an overnight stay. It’s old but then again most roadside motels are. It’s clean enough. Beds were fine, sheets were very comfy. Check in was slow. Breakfast was minimal, bagel, cereal, waffle, coffee, toast.

Grabbed a room here, the night before surgery at DMC. Linen and towels were dirty/stained. Used a hand towel to dry, after my shower. A good location, with a bad experience.

For solo travel during peak season at an affordable rate I was pleasantly surprised. Clean, great location and quiet.

Infested with bedbugs. Checked room before bring stuff in. Showed the office. She gave me a refund. Didn’t offer me a new room. Probably had bedbugs as well.

The room was very disgusting.. Dirty.. Dead insects.. Would not walk on floors.. kept sox on.. Would not sleep in bed.. kept clothes on.. Strange gurgling sounds from bathroom.. Wall paper had holes in it.. Worst place we ever stayed.. PLUS most expensive place in 4 days in Vermont !!.. We feel sorry for the 'managers', who were nice.. Hope they were not cheated into buying the place

Very Clean, friendly service, nice continental breakfast provided. Bed was comfortable and the view from my room was lovely.

Room very dirty. Shower dripped so bathroom floor totally wet, fall hazard. No toilet paper in room. Not vacuumed food crumbs etc all over rug. Dead bugs on floor, flies even a bee. No one ever in office have to call number multiple times for assistance. Bread, english muffins etc not put away all day. Breakfast 7 to 9 breads out all day and same stuff out next day. Will not stay here again

Lovely view of Connecticut River.

A bit overpriced but did have a great view from room. Shower was extremely low pressure, there was no vent in bathroom and the window didn't open. So whole room steamed up. Was quiet and peaceful.

the location right on the water was so beautiful, woke up to a really nice view in the morning. it was very quiet as it’s the off-season. only downside was the toilet flapper fell off a few times. the room and especially bathroom could do with some upgrades

Was in town for Dartmouth family weekend. Check in was weird and was not sure if we were ever fully checked in, but everything on my card seems correct. The inn is dated, for sure. Pillows and bedding was comfortable. Wallpaper was peeling and fastened with push pins in spots. AC and fridge were good. Tv was plentiful with channels. Bathroom was small, some possible moldy spots and bring your own toiletries as the ones provided are lacking. Overall, price was on point for the weekend for a family on a budget. The view of the river was lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. There are no bells or whistles. We did not take advantage of any breakfast amenities so I am unable to comment on that. I give this property a, “clean enough” score. If you are okay with a little dated and a little run down, it’s perfect. Two miles from campus makes it convenient. Would love to see them make some updates. But will stay again.

Location was great. Clean room. Shower was terrible. Poor water pressure and the temperature kept on changing as the water was running.

View from our room was beautiful! Bed was very comfortable, most everything worked, except faucet in bath was problematic (had to pull really hard to get it on/off), and lightbulbs were out/mismatched in bath. Mostly just need a little sprucing up. Breakfast was pretty good.

This was a total ripoff by both the motel and hotels.com. I reserved two rooms with two queen beds each. I wound up needing a back operation and called hotels.com to cancel one room and change the check- in date for the other. Hotels.com assured me that this was done. When my daughter got to the motel, she found that hotels.com had not, in fact, changed the check- in date and I would be charged for the extra day unless hotels.com contacted the motel to verify the cancellation. After three hours of chatting with a hotels.com representative (including twice being disconnected), I was told that the motel and I would receive an email within 15 minutes canceling the extra day. Neither of us received it, so back to another chat. This time the rep called the motel but the manager said no to the cancellation even though I had just been told to have hotels.com call. Finally, we accepted the extra charge but when she got to the room there was only one bed for her and my two grandsons. When she went back to the office to complain, they called the police on her and charged her for another day in the room even though all she did was open the door and see that there was only one bed. She wound up staying at an AirBnB. Nothing but lies and ripoff. I have the transcripts of the conversations with hotels.com to prove what I am saying.

This is an older hotel. If you desire a comfortable room that's clean and warm but has no frills, then this is a great bargain. I got the impression that the owners were new, like family run. Only free coffee in the office available. People were friendly and caring! They went out of their way to make sure I got my driver's license back after leaving it at the office. I will stay here again.

On the website, this place is advertised with free breakfast. When we finished checking in the person said there was no breakfast (free or not) because it's winter(?!?). I insisted that this was mentioned in the listing and he all but yelled at me that I could go somewhere else. It was late and I had young kids in the car so that wasn't an option. To be clear - you don't have to serve breakfast, but you can't advertise falsely. People book and plan based on these things. Then, we could not get the TV to show anything! They had an Xfinity box, but all it would display was the settings page. We pressed every button, Googled the model - nothing worked. Finally, there was no lock (not even a broken one) in the bathroom. Terrible experience and terrible service.

The owners of the hotel both stood and watched me while I ate breakfast, as if making sure I didn’t take too much food. 20 minutes before check-out there was a knock on the door and the two owners were standing there telling me it was time to check out, even though I still had 20 minutes. It was very weird.

It was fine but felt pricy for what you get. You will need a car to get into Hanover so it felt like option in White River give more for the same price (or cheaper). We were there for graduation so rates were extra high.

We had a room with a view of the river. It was nice. Room was a little on the small side for the price. The a/c worked yet it is kinda blocked by the tv stand. The bed felt like you were sleeping on a rock. Overall the place was nice quiet place tucked away in the woods. Bring what you need cuz there is no store close by unles you drive back to town. They had some kind of breakfast yet i didnt eat it. Check out is at 10 little earlier than i like yet my biggest thing was the steep price. You can find a way better place to stay for $200 .

Made for a great nights sleep. The property is right on the Connecticut River and on July 4th, there was the most amazing firework display directly across the river from the motel. Enjoyed the whole thing without another soul around except the hotel operator! Near free public bus stop.

This motel works well for anyone needing a place to stay overnight. Nothing fancy. The only unexpected and amazing thing was a remarkable view of Connecticut River all the way to the Vermont side. Breakfast is not available even if so mentioned in the description.

Nice staff. Bed was comfortable. Stains on linen. Shower was small. Not much water pressure. Nice they offered a light breakfast. Cereal, bagels, waffles maker, fruit, coffee. Worked fine for us for one night.

Room was clean though no daily cleaning. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was minimal. Only beverage was coffee or tea. No juice offered. Minimal amount of milk available as in only enough for the cereal. For non coffee drinkers this was an issue.

Loved the quaint feel and beautiful view. Breakfast was simple and good and I got a great tip on trails to walk.

Shower water pressure is so low it would not clean body lotion off one’s body! Spoke several times with hotel representatives and they claim to he entire hotel has low water pressure, they also claimed to hey tried to fix the problem but no one was able to fix it. Someone offered them to fix it last week in front of me and they definitely suggested they will talk to the owner! They know why is water pressure so weak! Anyway if you’d stay here just don’t count on breakfast as cream was rotten when I went to get some coffee! Just spare yourself and go somewhere else.
