Motel 6 Riverside, CA - UCR East

I had just been discharged from the hospital and this is where I came to stay so I could be with my dogs and rest. There was a small problem with my stay but the staff worked with me and waited for me to be able to fix the problem. Only thing that wasn't good was the w The washers were both out of order. Other than that I am going to return again.

I arrived at 3:30, a half hour after check in time, and they gave me my room key. When I got to the room, it had not been cleaned yet, so I had to wait an extra hour to get it cleaned. After it was cleaned, I found cockroaches and ants in the bathroom. Then I discovered that there was a bathtub, but no plug or way to keep the water in it. The ice machine also did not work, and the phone didn’t work either. The front desk was not helpful or even friendly about these things. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a motel.

They are pet friendly.

The remote to turn on the tv was sticky ans dirty , the shower had what looked like pub hair .looks like the only cleaned the beds.Also the ice machine “worked” but only gave a spoon full of slush .

We were comfortable, it is nice they are pet friendly. The sprinklers are set for early evening leaving the pet area flooded. Very noisy outside with some sort of metal banging throughout the night. Not the hotel’s fault.

This Motel 6 is in a bad part of Riverside. There is limited parking and poor street access.

That room was disgustingly dirty. Mold in the bathroom.

As soon as I walked into the non smoking room it smelled like smoke. Then I went into the bathroom and when I turned on the light a couple of roaches scattered. I immediately called the front office and was moved into another room but it was only slightly better.

The rooms have a very clean smell.. bathroom and bed sheets always have a fresh smell as well.. will definitely be staying here whenever I am around the area

Surprisingly pleased with my stay. Clean no bugs and reasonably quiet. Exceeded my expectations.

This was one of the cleanest and nicest motel 6 , loved the lay out of room (nook table 🤗)

Unclean discusting place, feces smared on the back of the bathroom door, sheets absolutely nasty under the 1st one... I would never stay here again. Ps. They charged a $50 deposit which is released several days later... the sign in their office says $100 deposit...

When I arrived to the room it did not look nothing like in the app. I was disappointed the shower was dirty . Luckily I had cleaning supplies and Lysol. The room was a non smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. I will never stay here again.

Bed sheets were clean, but one blanket had a cigarette burn hole. We couldn't use the air conditioner because it smelled horrible when plugged in, plus all the adjustment knobs had been removed so it couldn't be adjusted and was set at 85 degrees. Our reservation was for my family of four and they provided only two sets of towels, so I had to ask for more and go down to get them myself, then the maids replaced them the next day with only two sets again (so I had to go down to get more a second time). Many homeless people appear to be using this motel as temporary housing, so be prepared for that. I called ahead to ask if there would be a microwave in the room and was told there would be. However, there was no microwave and they didn't deliver one until late morning the day after I requested it. I would not stay here again.

This is a second time I had stayed at motel 6 in Riverside All the frat screen TVs all my rooms did not work 😔 The first time I stayed there the TV does not work at this time I stayed in room 210 The previous guest kind of mess with the flat screen I was dissatisfied disappointment

The room was very clean and the staff was nice. The major pitfall was the traffic noise being close to a freeway and two busy streets. A grab bar in the shower would also be helpful.

First the weather was 103 degrees the room felt like 107 , airconditioner was broken , missing parts, and not in working condition , attempted to reset nothing , coplaint they never came thwy never did anything about it .. rapaors all over , shower nasty and patched , thw handles lose and u can see its not sealed , the aor co ditioner was just making it super humid , and sticky. Only 3 small pillows no extra , no shampoo just a nasty smelling soap. Tv flickered gave us a headache from flicker. Non smoking it smelled like smoke like a wet cigar. Management did nothing for me even after calling 3 times.

The pictures of the room showing in the Expedia is misleading. The AC is making tremendous noise we felt as if we’re in flight just behind the jet engine. Two of the pillows were hard as rocks. Overall couldn’t sleep much comfortably. I asked staff about the room we got is the same deluxe room we ordered and she said yes. So Expedia your room pictures are misleading.

Just an over night stay for an event nearby. Check in was smooth and the staff were helpful.

Great hotel! Very clean! Yohlande made sure we were well taken care of. More hotels need staff like her. Seriously cannot get over how meticulously clean this location is. Although there is no vending machine or breakfast and this location, there are so many restaurants and shops right across the street. 10/10 recommend!

So rude. The manager was constantly aggressive towards my son, who is a very polite young man. Our room was flooded in the middle of the night due to a broken pipe. We moved all our wet stuff to another room ( unassisted) and that was it. No apologies, no refund, no discount, nothing. "Pet friendly" is not accurate. They allow pets, but we were treated like we were breaking some law. We are very responsible pet owners and keep everything clean, the maids really only needed to change the beds ( which have no comforters. Literally white sheets on top of white sheets) every other day. Everything was so run down. Stained tub, dirtiest floors, I mopped the room 3 times before they were clean with a Swiffer wetjet. Smallest rooms and the worst wifi in existence.

Personal really not friendly. No staff at the reception we had to wait for 15-20 minutes to get our keys. Not recommended.

If I could have rated this a zero, I would have. The owners are rude, including the staff. Also I didn’t get much sleep, My kids were terrified due to the next door neighbor and up stairs. They decided to put families with all these party guests, which was obviously not a good idea. My worst experience was having to wait until 3pm to check in, when I requested to have a early check in, I arrived there early at 5am so tired from driving all night with my whole family, when I ask if it was possible if they had any rooms so that we could check in early… they said no absolutely not…. No way !! 5 mins later, a guy pulls in to get a room , when he comes out i ask him if he had a reservation and he responds no I just ask for a room for me and my family. So your going to tell me that someone that has no reservations has more privileges then someone that has already paid in full for a room.. oh my Goodness, this was the worst experience ever. We had to ride around finding things to do while being sleepy and tired also needing to take a shower. Worst of all the owner or staff is very rude for no reason!!!!!

Our stay was ok except for the service. The owner I think it was anyway was so terribly rude woman from India I believe and the cleaning staff were also rude because I had 2 dogs they kept blaming the dogs for things that didn’t happen like peeing on the beds which never happened. We walked our dogs about 5 times a day and always cleaned up after them. The office staff were nice though. The woman from India kept trying to charge us extra money for a wash rag which was stained from cleaning she wanted to charge us $50.00 for it and that wash rag wasn’t even from the motel 6. 2 other people I know told me she tried to do the same thing to them but they told her something and she stopped. They are NOT pet friendly in any way. I would sleep on the street before ever staying at that motel 6 again!!

Yohlande was amazing during our entire stay. She takes great pride in the property and providing the best service. I cannot fully express how grateful we are for Yohlande. She went above and beyond. This Motel 6 is the best we’ve ever stayed at. Definitely recommend!

Area was ok it was customer service then I stayed from the 4th to the 5th they didn't release my deposit to 3 weeks later I made sure to take the key to office to check out

Good experience not a 5 star hotel of course but for last minute place to stay its decent friendly staff room was pretty clean lots a dinning choices at walking distance and great price

The staff were really accommodating and helpful to me. I would highly recommend this hotel if you need a clean and comfortable place to stay without being too fancy. For next time, I'll grab dinner from the Carl's Jr just a couple hundred feet away.
