Imperial Hotel Brooklyn New

Pictures can be deceiving, the location is right off the Alabama Ave MTA station which is helpful but also adds to the NYC ASMR while you sleep. The free parking was easy to park in but the lot and the hotel entrance are occupied by sketchy personalities. The vicinity around the hotel seemed to facilitate ilicit activities with the eye test. The cleanliness of the room was that of a short stay motel. The towels weren’t matching. The bed was spring type on a steel frame that made noises when moving around. The pillow cases and sheets were not free of stains from past washes/use. The door was not sealed letting you hear everything happening in the hallway and the window blinds didnt fully close. The air conditioning needed cleaning. The room constantly had the residual cigarette odor that was from either the previous occupant or the AC. I didnt expect spending around 500 USD (tax/fee inclusive) for two nights in brooklyn for that kind of stay but it was bearable having experience staying in love hotels in the Philippines. Id rather next time leave the car and get a smaller room closer to manhattan than risk going back to the hotel in that area after exploring the city late into the night.

Bed was no comfort at all when I got on the bed I felt the mattress springs 😴
