Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Ashland - Hanover, VA

Room had a strong antiseptic smell, like we were above the pool or something. It was relatively clean, but showing wear. All-in-all we just needed a room to crash after a long drive, and the price was kind of high for a basic, run-of-the-mill strip type hotel. Nothing bad, nothing great. Kinda disappointed after the ridiculously positive reviews. For the price I'd try elsewhere. Pros: location off highway, outside Richmond. National brand Cons: parking only good for the first 10 cars after that you're walking. Price a bit steep for what you get, but we don't know the area.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good.

Everyone was so nice. The hotel appeared to be very clean and in a convenient location. Parking felt very safe. We didn't eat breakfast there.

I had a pleasant stay for a business trip. It is in a good location for a variety of restaurants.
