Great location. A little older property and operations. You get a physical key. Also went to use the hair dryer and the entire thing came off the wall. Microwave and fridge in room. Beds were comfy. Walked to everything. Parking seemed a little limited but I think there was more parking under the deck. Coffee nook for the morning. Staff asked about our room after we checked in which was nice.

Employees were above & beyond with friendly service. Room was very clean. Beds were squishy & pillows were thick - I liked, husband not so much. River view - Amazing! Loved the River walk just outside the door. There was picnic table & benches and a fish cleaning station. they even have freezers to put your clean catch in. Also docks if you bring your boat right outside the hotel doors. Delicious Chocolate & ice cream store. Loved the Elk Pattie, choc covered pretzels. TJ's - great food & craft beer on tap - get a long flight! Cute shops along main street, our favorite was the Veteran's store where everything is made by Veteran's. The owner was super nice to chat with. Anyway, so much was walkable from our Hotel & we loved it. Two beautiful sandy Lake Michigan beaches on both sides at the mouth of the river. (Flush toilets, dressing rooms & snacks). Manistee is the place to be! And this hotel is the best choice! We will be back next year & bring family. Thank You for such a wonderful Hotel to vacation at.

Parking underneath seemed to be safe. Staff at desk friendly and helpful with the area sites. We enjoyed the lodging next to the nice riverwalk and downtown! Great place for that!

The Good: right in downtown Manistee. The Bad: uncomfortable beds, no draperies in room with 2 windows so light pollution, bathroom door did not close towels were rough and undersized dirty floor grout in bathroom bedside light not working correctly hanging rail but no clothes hangers dirty bedside table gap all around the door, right next to lower entrance so heard everyone arriving and departing ... ALL NIGHT disappointing attempt at updating the room Would not recommend will not stay again

The staff was excellent. The bed was awesome and the blanket looked new and clean. The bathroom wasn't great. The outer base of the toilet was dirty and the shower curtain was old looking. Everything else was great. Thank you!

On the positive side the hotel is right on the Riverwalk which is awesome. We really enjoyed our walk and the view from our room. Unfortunately room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was an empty water bottle under the bathroom sink and a considerable amount of hair on the bathroom floor. Room also had a somewhat musty odor. Also disappointing when we checked in there was a sign at the desk to call the number shown, which we did and waited about 15 minutes for someone to come. The young lady was apologetic but still frustrating. This location has a lot going for it but for the price was disappointed.
On the positive side the hotel is right on the Riverwalk which is awesome. We really enjoyed our walk and the view from our room. Unfortunately room cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There was an empty water bottle under the bathroom sink and a considerable amount of hair on the bathroom floor. Room also had a somewhat musty odor. Also disappointing when we checked in there was a sign at the desk to call the number shown, which we did and waited about 15 minutes for someone to come. The young lady was apologetic but still frustrating. This location has a lot going for it but for the price was disappointed.

While this is a pretty basic hotel, it met all of our needs. Our room was quiet. Parking was easy (parking garage). The room was very clean. Room features were not all listed on Expedia. It did have a microwave and refrigerator in addition to the mentioned coffee maker. There was a small snack room in the facility with tea bags, fresh fruit, and snack bars. It was close to walking paths along the river and restaurants. (This is northern Michigan, so restaurants close early)would recommend this as an affordable hotel.

The location is amazing. Walking distance to everything downtown. Service was great, we had questions and they got an answer immediately. The only thing was the air-conditioning was really loud at times. We would stay again.

The room was huge with a great view but there was only one chair and no place to hang clothes! The toilet was short , actually one for children. Despite all that I would stay there again.

Great room, great price, great view. Only complaint, no one at front desk. No instructions. After waiting 10 mins for someone to answer bell, found a bus card on desk & called for instructions. How would you know your key was in an envelope behind the sign that says press button? This was 5:30 pm. Same next morning, no one around. Not a very welcoming feeling. Otherwise, area is wonderful for walking & many options for eating.

Easy parking below for floor our room was on and above for rooms on the above floors was very nice. Nice view of the River. Centrally located for quick walk to all the shops and restaurants. Showers could use an upgrade for pressure and height

Honestly, the location is very good. However, there was virtually no staff. The hall and rooms on the lower floor were all tile. As a result, every time someone went in or out of their room, the door would slam. Of course, the only things that really matter in any hotel room are the bed and the water pressure. The shower was barely more than a trickle. The bed should have been put in a dumpster 5 or 10 years ago. Whenever I sat or layed down on the bed, I literally sank into the mattress 8 to 10 inches! Certainly, I'm not blaming the skeleton staff. The owners need to update or sell.

Smack dab in the middle of the city. Right on the river. You could walk everywhere you need to go. There are probably 10 dining choices within a few minutes walk from the Inn. The mattress was probably the most comfortable I have slept on.

I couldn't even check in to the hotel! Get a text messege at 9:07pm, that the lobby is closed at 9. Ok I understand that, every other hotel has employees for late night check in. Get there, and its closed! Couldnt even get someone on the phone. Travel agency couldn't get anyone on the phone either. Had to go find another place at 10pm, and they wont refund my money due to their non-refundable policy. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place.

The property is downtown so walking distance to restaurants and shops. No personel at the desk from early evening until 8 a.m. which caused me to make the pot of coffee in the lobby area. I did this because the room had 1 Cup coffee pods for a coffee maker that made a 5 cup pot. Even using both pods was inadequate. No continental breakfast, just coffee and som granola bars

Great room, great price, great view. Only complaint, no one at front desk. No instructions. After waiting 10 mins for someone to answer bell, found a bus card on desk & called for instructions. How would you know your key was in an envelope behind the sign that says press button? This was 5:30 pm. Same next morning, no one around. Not a very welcoming feeling. Otherwise, area is wonderful for walking & many options for eating.

Smack dab in the middle of the city. Right on the river. You could walk everywhere you need to go. There are probably 10 dining choices within a few minutes walk from the Inn. The mattress was probably the most comfortable I have slept on.

Parking underneath seemed to be safe. Staff at desk friendly and helpful with the area sites. We enjoyed the lodging next to the nice riverwalk and downtown! Great place for that!

We were in Manistee overnight to attend an event. This hotel was in the perfect location...River Street in the downtown district. And it was clean and comfortable and very affordable. Check-in was easy. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Free parking. Lots of amenities walkable from here. And we enjoyed a bit of stroll on the boardwalk along the river.

Very nice place with friendly staff. Cannot beat the location, you walk out and you are right in the middle of the Downtown and River Street. It sits right along the river which is cool and the parking on site is perfect as the street parking is only 2 hours. Would definitely recommend if you want to experience downtown Manistee. Short drive to beach too.

This was a nice hotel right in the center of Manistee in the river, close to shops and restaurants. It was not fancy and could use some refreshing (worn and frayed carpet in areas, stan on room chair) but it was nice enough and clean. And the location couldn't be beat. They did not offer a breakfast (I was told that, so no worries there) and did not have a hairdryer in the room (just an FYI to bring your own).

Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this facility to anyone. All “pluses” no “negatives.” Also thanks for recommending “The Bungalow” for breakfast on the morning we left. And “T.T.s Pub” for dinner the night we checked in.

The property is downtown so walking distance to restaurants and shops. No personel at the desk from early evening until 8 a.m. which caused me to make the pot of coffee in the lobby area. I did this because the room had 1 Cup coffee pods for a coffee maker that made a 5 cup pot. Even using both pods was inadequate. No continental breakfast, just coffee and som granola bars

Great location. A little older property and operations. You get a physical key. Also went to use the hair dryer and the entire thing came off the wall. Microwave and fridge in room. Beds were comfy. Walked to everything. Parking seemed a little limited but I think there was more parking under the deck. Coffee nook for the morning. Staff asked about our room after we checked in which was nice.

Manistee Inn & Marina is the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway! Walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants! Love the quaint boutique motel vibe! Definitely will stay here again in the future!

Location A . Parking A . Staff friendly and helpful. It is basic. Breakfast bars is extent of food. But plenty of coffee. Old style door keys which means anyone finding a key or taking a key has access to the front door at any hour. Also, no one on duty at the desk overnight. Different. Rooms clean. We liked it. Would go again.

While this is a pretty basic hotel, it met all of our needs. Our room was quiet. Parking was easy (parking garage). The room was very clean. Room features were not all listed on Expedia. It did have a microwave and refrigerator in addition to the mentioned coffee maker. There was a small snack room in the facility with tea bags, fresh fruit, and snack bars. It was close to walking paths along the river and restaurants. (This is northern Michigan, so restaurants close early)would recommend this as an affordable hotel.

Unbelievably clean with a very comfy mattress! The view from our room was crappy (a raggedy house next door), but the smell was fantastic... we were on the other side of a chocolate and ice cream shop! Would definitely stay here again.

Dated but clean. Parking on the street so be prepared to haul your bags. Comfy bed. Lots of hot water. No continental breakfast. Just coffee and granola bar type snacks. Great l9cation for downtown or to access the riverwalk.

The room was amazing with a wonderful view of the waterfront and docks by the river walk. We watched the fishermen clean their fish right from our room. The area is beautiful and everyone is so friendly. The problem was with our bed. We had a king bed that was very mis-shapen. It had a LARGE lump in the middle forcing you to slide down onto the side of the bed and the mattress was so soft it just kind of enveloped you into a hole. It was very uncomfortable and made for a bad nights sleep. It was reported to the desk at checkout. If you stay in 110 make sure you check the bed first before agreeing to stay. The parking lot is being repaired and so parking was a bit strange, but it was safe and OK. It will be nice when the lot is finished. OTHER than that , the stay was great.

Elevator was out of service. Doors to Main Street were closed off. Parking lot was being repaired. Had to park a block away on commercial street and make 2 trips with my suitcase and items to hotel. If you didn't have a lake view you were looking at a wall or the parking lot. When I checked out I was made aware that I would have saved $50+ dollars by going direct rather than using Hotels.com On plus side on major street with lots of shops and stores. Could walk to my favorite coffee shop.
