Great hotel with that 50,s motel vibe. Amazing 24 hour heated pool and hot tub. Great Rooms and shower was nice to have a refrigerator only negative would have been nice to have carpet or mats on the floors.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Skylark. The weekend staff member who checked us in was very friendly and informative, and we saw him working hard alongside all the maintenance staff to keep the property clean throughout the weekend. Despite cooler weather, the pool was clean and heated and towels were available. Floating in the warm water with the views of palm trees and the mountains was a real joy! We borrowed the free on-site bikes to ride through the neighborhoods full of beautiful mid-century homes right across the street! And the on-site restaurant was convenient and delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

We just had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Skylark Hotel! Nice quiet smaller property. Loved the pool and hot tub, with late flexible hours. Loved the complementary hot breakfast - bacon, eggs, potatoes+! Very clean and large nicely decorated rooms. Polite and helpful staff. Great location, just walking distance to several restaurants and the Regional Medical Center. On-site restaurant and bar as well. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! My daughter and I really enjoyed being on the property for a couple days. We used the pool, the free bikes and enjoyed the view of the mountains from in front of our room each morning. There was a little issue in our room and without even asking, we were given a voucher for a delicious breakfast in the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again in the future!

The reception and pool area were exceptional, clean, well cared for areas. The rooms were dated, but we could tell that things were being updated. My complaint with this hotel the room was cleanliness - dusty windowsills, carpet seemed dirty but it might have just been old - shower curtain in the bathroom was plastic ripped and about to disintegrate . I think what this hotel needs is a better maid!

The property is very old, but it has been remodeled and reimagined, and it is fantastic. Everything is clean well run. I’ve stayed there twice and both times were excellent.

We had a bad key experience for the duration of the trip I had to Jimmy the lock, the wallpaper seem better days. But otherwise it has a very casual funky interior that spacious and an excellent bathroom. Main service is regular in the area and grounds were exceptional and clean.

Everything about the room was clean, spacious, very comfy. The breakfast was delicious. There was a very laid back vibe, yet it was quiet and peaceful to sleep, even near the pool. The staff was so helpful and kind!

Wonderful little motel. Very clean, great staff, pool is nice, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, rooms are updated and very clean. It’s a bit of a walk into town, that would be my only compliant but it’s cheaper than anything right downtown. We will definitely be back.

As much as I wanted to enjoy this place cause of the good reviews, I did not enjoy my stay here. The outdoor area of the motel is very cute but the room I had was pretty worn down despite the remodel. All the furniture was old and run down. The bed was comfortable but because of the poor condition of the furniture I had my doubts about the beds cleanliness however, there were no noticeable stains. Lastly, the room stunk of Fabuloso or another cheap cleaning product. It was so strong I had a headache most of the night. I didn’t see any water stations anywhere around the hotel and the don’t even leave a courtesy water bottle. I think you’re better off paying the extra 50-100 bucks and finding somewhere else to sleep.

We stayed in what I assume was a renovated room. There was nice wallpaper, a new bathroom, and fun art. However, all of the surfaces were scraped on the edges or had discolored areas on top. The room had a weird smell. The AC made a weird rattling noise that, when reported to the front desk, "happens in the summer." The only solution was to turn it off and open a window (the window had no screen). The beds were either too soft or too used. No microwave in the room. Staff we interacted with were friendly. Breakfast was provided and was OK, but the fresh fruit was old.

We enjoyed our stay at The Skylark in Palm Springs. The hotel is located in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Still, a pleasant stay overall!

Nice atmosphere. Room is large and very clean. Feels like a newer hotel. Refrigerator has a small freezer attached. No microwave in room but I was allowed to use hotel's microwave to cook my potato. TV and internet work well. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Friendly staff. Easy check in.

The hotel is in an older building which has been remodeled, and looks great. It is very clean and staff is attentive. The pool and views of the surrounding mountain is beautiful, and has a convenient in property restaurant. Being an older buolding it is not particularly soundproof, and it is on the expensive side, which is unavoidable in this town. I would stay again.

The star of this show is Scott so friendly and welcoming! The property is older but was the exact esthetic we had in mind. Bed was so comfy love the weight of the down. Shower was clean and beautiful design will definitely recommend and return.

Overall, had a nice stay. Staff was great and property and pool area were clean and well-maintained. Rooms are nice, but bathrooms, especially showers, are small, with showers having low water pressure. Beds were a bit soft for our tastes. We stayed on first floor and found the noise/footsteps coming from guests on second floor very loud. Would recommend staying on 2nd floor or in row of units that don't have a second floor.

The staff were all very friendly, in particular Scott. We checked out in the morning, left our luggage in the office and hung out in the afternoon by the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast that was part of the daily cost. It is hard to find the hotel by GPS as the entrance and address do not correspond. (The entrance is on the other side of the same block.) Awesome location. We walked to the events we were invited to for the wedding weekend. One small absence: boxes of facial tissue in the rooms.

Our room wasn't as nice as others in property, with some missing items, they are going thru a remodel so hopefully that was it. It was a one night stay which was go for the price. Check-in staff could have been more hospitable.

Hated the check-in process. The person helping me (Lexi) took 20 minutes explaining to me why I wouldn’t get my room for another 30 minutes, instead of just telling me I could have another room. why even go there to begin with ?? Don’t mention it and give another room! She talked in circles and I had a hard time following her. And if I needed something during her shift, she just kinda grunted in acknowledgment & helped me, but was very unfriendly & barely acknowledged me. I did see her often walking around the property looking down at her phone or hanging out at either bar with bar staff socializing while people waited by the check in window. Lexi definitely needs some lessons/training on appropriate levels of customer service. It would be in Skylark’s best interest to provide that. Other staff at skylark were amazing! The person helping me (Lexi) took 20 minutes explaining to me why I wouldn’t get my room for another 30 minutes, instead of just telling me I could have another room. why even go there to begin with ?? Don’t mention it and give another room! She talked in circles and I had a hard time following her. And if I needed something during her shift, she just kinda grunted in acknowledgment & helped me, but was very unfriendly & barely acknowledged me. I did see her often walking around the property looking down at her phone or hanging out at either bar with bar staff socializing while people waited by the check in window. Lexi definitely needs some lessons/training on appropriate levels of customer service. It would be in Skylark’s best interest to provide that. Other staff at skylark were amazing! In particular, Mark at lost property, went above & beyond to make me feel relaxed and contented as I had a late dinner one night. Then again he and Andrea provided excellent service the next day for dinner & made me feel comfortable - 2 great experiences! Excellent service! My daughter and I really enjoyed being on the property for a couple days. We used the pool, the free bikes and enjoyed the view of the mountains from in front of our room each morning. There was a little issue in our room and without even asking, we were given a voucher for a delicious breakfast in the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again in the future!

Our flight was delayed. Scott, the manager, texted me to ask when we would arrive. Then had issues with rental car and finding the place in the dark—I called the Skylark and Scott was standing outside when we got there to make sure we didn’t miss it again. Great service.

Scott greeted us at check-in and was very accommodating and outgoing with everyone in our large group. All of our rooms were next to each other and that was helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was so charming and the food was a delicious late-night snack, we all desperately needed after a day of shopping, which is just steps down the street.

The staff were all very friendly, in particular Scott. We checked out in the morning, left our luggage in the office and hung out in the afternoon by the pool. We enjoyed the breakfast that was part of the daily cost. It is hard to find the hotel by GPS as the entrance and address do not correspond. (The entrance is on the other side of the same block.) Awesome location. We walked to the events we were invited to for the wedding weekend. One small absence: boxes of facial tissue in the rooms.

Hotel was great for a quick weekend staycation. About a mile walk to downtown but just a few mins drive to everything. Property was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again or recommend for a quiet, relaxing weekend by the pool. Would definitely like to try their restaurant, breakfast/bar next time.

We just had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Skylark Hotel! Nice quiet smaller property. Loved the pool and hot tub, with late flexible hours. Loved the complementary hot breakfast - bacon, eggs, potatoes+! Very clean and large nicely decorated rooms. Polite and helpful staff. Great location, just walking distance to several restaurants and the Regional Medical Center. On-site restaurant and bar as well. Highly recommend!

With the construction going on, the property was *very* hard to identify from the street (front entrance on Indian Canyon, signage only on Palm Canyon). The "front desk" is set up in an airstream on a cute renovated deck. The staff was very friendly and accommodating of preferences (though, I didn't receive any information about wifi access upon check-in). It didn't apply to me, but I could see the limited check-in hours being problematic (i.e. - delayed flights/traffic). The lack of a deadbolt was a little disconcerting. Minimalistic mid-century styling and a comfortable bed, but a lack of counter space in the bathroom. Pretty basic breakfast offering (but, it was complimentary and had hot options). Fantastic pool access policy (will hold bags behind desk post-checkout/pre-checkin and allow you to enjoy the pool area). Walkable to uptown restaurants and shops.

Wonderful little motel. Very clean, great staff, pool is nice, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, rooms are updated and very clean. It’s a bit of a walk into town, that would be my only compliant but it’s cheaper than anything right downtown. We will definitely be back.

I had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Skylark, which prompted me to extend for a few days. To a person, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was delightful, and the restaurant onsite, Lost Property, has amazing food. Needless to say, this is a hearty recommendation.

Overall good. They were going through a renovation on the front part of the hotel, but they did a good job accommodating guests through the process. The staff was very responsive to questions, or needs of the guests. The free breakfast was one of the highlights. A quality arrangement of quality food. Great egg frittata, and organic options. Unlike other hotels that have cheap food. They put effort and thoughtfulness behind the meal. My only light complaint was that the room attendant only cleaned the basics. Floors weren’t cleaned at times, but overall okay. The other thing is that the hotel played music throughout the grounds, sometimes too loud but okay. They were probably trying mitigate the noise from the renovation. Again, these are light comments. Overall a nice hotel and great time there.

Front desk was great! Breakfast was good wish they had like pancakes or waffles instead of just toast. Wish they had a gym other than that great place for the value. Super cute hotel and beds are very comfortable! I would come back asian…

Smooth check-in with Scott, who is the nicest guy! We loved the poolside cabanas, and the restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. The drinks were creative and delicious, too. Our room was simple, retro, cute, and comfortable. So glad we chose The Skylark for our overnight stay in Palm Springs!
