What a charming property with a beautiful onsen on-site. Even though there are 7 public baths taht are free to those staying their, our favorite was right at the hotel. The property is a little bit out of town, very walkable except while we were there, there was construction on the road leading to it, making it slightly dangerous to walk at night. But the hotel offers a free shuttle and the staff is very accommodating. Love this little jewel.

Everything about this property was amazing!! The staff was so kind and helpful, especially Chiba in the dining room. Please do get the half board option! The food I was served was incredible and worth almost as much as I paid for the hotel room. The onsen at the hotel is better than most of the public ones in town. The free massage chairs and foot vibration machines were awesome. Highly recommended!

A huge clean beautiful room with lots of extras. The biggest room of our entire trip. We opted for traditional room and it was fantastic. Great onsen and pass to all onsens in the town. Great service, help with luggage and free transport (everything is walkable).

The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The onsen at the hotel was possibly the best of the big onsens in Kinosaki. They provided great amenities and the outdoor space was beautiful with a terrific cold plunge. The room was beautiful and clean.

Sehr schönes Ryokan in ruhiger Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind relativ neu renoviert und wunderschön. Einzig das Badezimmer könnte eine Modernisierung vertragen. Der Onsen ist super mit zwei inneren Bädern, einem Außenbad und einer Sauna. Der Innenhof ist schön gestaltet und abends stimmungsvoll beleuchtet. Wir hatten zwei Abende mit Kaiseki Dinner, das sehr toll war. Ganz großes Lob an das Personal das überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit war. Man kommt zu Fuß in etwa 10 min in den Ort, es gibt aber auch einen gratis Shuttleservice. Außerdem gibt es einen Shuttlebus vom Bahnhof zum Ryokan und zurück.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful this place was. The staff take excellent care of you. The Onsen on the premises was beautiful. The meals delicious and beautifully presented. Memorable.

Where to start, this Ryokan was spectacular. The hotel is beautiful in its traditional style with extremely friendly staff who couldn't have done more. The hotel is a nice ten minute walk from the main area but offer free transfers from the hotel to the onsens. We never used it because the walk was so pleasant. The onsen they provide is lovely with an indoor and outdoor area, the traditional set meals they have was equally brilliant. We will absolutely come back here in the future!

We stayed for one night with a 4 year old. The reception staff was very attentive when we arrived earlier to check in our luggage first. They carried our luggage to our room when it was ready. We had the beautiful and delicious Kaiseki dinner and breakfast as a celebration for our wedding anniversary. We really appreciated the dining staff lady helping us with the crab meat. We also tried their onsite onsen which was very convenient before we checked out (sauna open in evening). The massage chairs and free ice cream in the lounge area were greatly appreciated, too. Free beer and water in our fridge was a bonus. We received our yukatas and onsen pass and were able to try 2 onsens in Kinosaki town. They had free shuttle car service between 4-10pm for easy pick-up and drop-off. We loved the centre garden with the koi and noh theatre stage. We felt well taken care off and would stay at this ryokan again!

La gentillesse de tous, la qualité des petits déjeuners et du dîner, comme le cadre à l'intérieur de cet hôtel sont remarquables. L'onsen est vraiment très agréable avec son grand espace intérieur, son sauna et ses 2 bassins extérieurs, dont l'un d'eau froide. Même après avoir fait le tour des onsens de la ville, pourtant bien typiques, celui de cet hôtel vaut de le privilégier. Un bon point pour le service aux bagages, qui ont été déposés gracieusement, le jour de notre départ, à la maison du tourisme, en face de la gare. C'est vrai, cet hôtel n'est pas au coeur de la cité, mais tout concours à le choisir quand même, à 5 minutes de marche à pied.

The hotel is a bit far from the onsen center, about 10-15 walk from the Kinosaki train station. However, the staff are very courteous and service is excellent. The hotel is nice,clean and quiet.

非常愉快且舒服的住宿體驗，客房十分乾淨，員工服務也都很棒，雖然因大雪被困在城崎溫泉，飯店十分盡力幫我們尋找交通工具。有自己的接駁車可以過去外湯區，整體住宿令人十分滿意，下次再來時，還是會選擇此飯店！

這間温泉酒店是我第一次入住，雖然與JR站有點距離，但因有接駁車接送，所以都沒什麼問題。客房整潔，職員服務友善，早上我們到達旅館後，因未到Check in 時間，都熱情地幫我們登記入住和寄存行理，還安排車輛送我們到温泉街遊覽，這個超讚。設施方面，浸完温泉後有免費雪條吃，有汽水喝，有按摩機(全部免費，任用)，還有房間內有3支免費Asahi啤酒提供，感覺係超值。晚餐更豐富，又美味。下次到城崎會再入住。

This hotel and the staff is amazing. So helpful, clean, accommodating, and polite. I can definitely see why it was sold out for most nights. Rooms are very clean w/ private full bath. The location is very convenient. When looking at the map it may seem like it’s off to the side, but literally everything is within a 10 minute walk even the beach is close. It’s safe and family oriented. The hotel is nicely updated including a nice large Koi pond in the center and the public baths are nice. Lastly, reserve the breakfast it’s an experience and you actually feel full after eating.. I extended from one night to two.. Definitely recommend. Enjoy

Attendant was extremely helpful upon arrival even with language barrier. Yukata were brought up after arrival , so they were chosen to size (not assumed one size fits all). The room was spacious, beautiful and fully furnished. Our futons were laid out while we were strolling through the bath houses, and upon check out we were given a complimentary ride to the Kinosaki onsen ropeway. All around amazing experience. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer to enjoy all the onsite amenities. Would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely experience in Kinosaki.

A wonderful place to stay while visiting a charming onsen town. Hospitality of the staff is superb, and shuttle service provides easy access to the public baths in town. My room was very clean and comfortable but I did not like the pillow I had with my futon. Dining experience was also terrific. I had a snow crab dinner and it was very excellent. Overall, I loved staying here so much that I would want to visit Kinosakionsen again in the future primarily to stay in Suishoen again.

Nice ryokan with friendly staff. Food was excellent and fresh. The public bath was kind of lackluster but clean, being next to a major road was kind of annoying, cant really relax as you can hear heavy traffic.

We had an amazing stay in the beautiful small town of Kinosakionsen. Free pass to all onsen in town, and free shuttle in the evenings to town (about a 10 minute walk). A variety of small restaurants are in town too, as well as cafes and plenty of gift shops. The room was very cute and cozy!

Wir hatten zwei Abende mit Kaiseki Dinner, das sehr toll war. Ganz großes Lob an das Personal das überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit war. Man kommt zu Fuß in etwa 10 min in den Ort, es gibt aber auch einen gratis Shuttleservice. Außerdem gibt es einen Shuttlebus vom Bahnhof zum Ryokan und zurück.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are so lovely, warm and welcoming! The rooms were beautiful and big with very comfortable futons. Loved the onsen too!

Local bus shuttle available to connect with the Ryoken , very warm attentive welcoming from the staff on arrival and during our stay ! Lovely traditional room and dinner / breakfast. No over crowding in the onsen , all amenities available for a comfortable stay.

The ryokan experience was terrific. The hotel staff patiently and enthusiastically showed us around the hotel and explained to us the necessary (transport from hotel to the different public onsen, wearing a yukata, shopping & dining options). The kaiseki dinner was amazing and service was great.

The Ryokan was amazing from start to finish, they picked us up from the train station, dropped us back to town when required, the staff in charge of us spoke very good english and explained everything so well. The dinner experience was just amazing and felt like a luxury banquet with snow crab, great quality sashimi and finished off with wagyu cooked at the table in a hotpot. To cherry on top of the cake was when upon checkout the staff offered to bring our luggage to the train station where they have a place to keep it until 5pm, so we could enjoy our last day hiking around as well without the burden of luggage. Hope to return!

The staff are amazing. We had help planning our trains and made sure we were at the station early in the morning. They went out of their way to help and it was so very much appreciated. We could easily walk into town. Kinosaki is gorgeous. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an escape from the cities.

Staff were attentive and helpful. The ryokan does not reply to messages written in English. so I wasn't able to plan my itinerary as I did not when dinner and breakfast were. I had to catch an early morning train to Himeji. The hotel provided a ride to the train station and a onigiri Bento breakfast for the train ride since I would miss their breakfast.

Staff were smiles all the time. Food was great - both dinner and breakfast. Onsen was fine as it was not as crowded and noisy as in the other free Onsen places. Shuttle bus was ready to drive us to and from the town centre (at specific period in a day). Highly recommended.

We were very grateful for patient & polite staff, helping us to make the most of our experience in the Kinosaki area. Our meals in the private dining room were delightful, with staff being very helpful to accommodate our personal needs. Overall, a wonderful experience.

5/5 stars. Staff went above and beyond expectations. It was raining so hard the day we checked out and they offered us a ride to the train station. The front desk also helped us cancel our kimono reservation in Kyoto which was very helpful. Food was amazing. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and beautiful. The facility is very beautiful. The hospitality of this hotel was too notch. We will definitely stay again

夕食、朝食共に美味しく大満足！ 出会ったスタッフの方みなさん感じがよく、とても心地良く過ごすことができました。 温泉街から少し離れてるのが残念ですが、その分静かにゆっくり過ごせるかと思います。 帰りにお礼状いただき、感動しました。 また機会があれば泊まりたい宿の一つになりました！！

The hotel is a bit far from the onsen center, about 10-15 walk from the Kinosaki train station. However, the staff are very courteous and service is excellent. The hotel is nice,clean and quiet.

A wonderful place to stay while visiting a charming onsen town. Hospitality of the staff is superb, and shuttle service provides easy access to the public baths in town. My room was very clean and comfortable but I did not like the pillow I had with my futon. Dining experience was also terrific. I had a snow crab dinner and it was very excellent. Overall, I loved staying here so much that I would want to visit Kinosakionsen again in the future primarily to stay in Suishoen again.

What an amazing place. The staff, the service, the onsen all made for magical experience. The kaiseki dinner is an experience not to be missed. Highly recommend. They are slightly outside town but the walk is nice, and shuttle service was running most of the time.

We had an amazing stay in the beautiful small town of Kinosakionsen. Free pass to all onsen in town, and free shuttle in the evenings to town (about a 10 minute walk). A variety of small restaurants are in town too, as well as cafes and plenty of gift shops. The room was very cute and cozy!

Sehr schönes Ryokan in ruhiger Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind relativ neu renoviert und wunderschön. Einzig das Badezimmer könnte eine Modernisierung vertragen. The place was great. The room was massive and was a good size for a family of 4. Although the hotel itself is more out of the way compared to a few others that are right near the other 7 onsens it makes up for it with the great service, free shuttle and their own lovely onsen. Although we got there earlier than our check in time and before they provided the shuttle into the main part they still offered us a lift to the ropeway which was helpful on a hot day. Their own onsen also had an outdoor bath and a cold one as well which was great. They had people that could speak mandarin and Cantonese which was useful for my parents. Everyone always had a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

This hotel and the staff is amazing. So helpful, clean, accommodating, and polite. I can definitely see why it was sold out for most nights. Rooms are very clean w/ private full bath. The location is very convenient. When looking at the map it may seem like it’s off to the side, but literally everything is within a 10 minute walk even the beach is close. It’s safe and family oriented. The hotel is nicely updated including a nice large Koi pond in the center and the public baths are nice. Lastly, reserve the breakfast it’s an experience and you actually feel full after eating.. I extended from one night to two.. Definitely recommend. Enjoy

Everything about this property was amazing!! The staff was so kind and helpful, especially Chiba in the dining room. Please do get the half board option! The food I was served was incredible and worth almost as much as I paid for the hotel room. The onsen at the hotel is better than most of the public ones in town. The free massage chairs and foot vibration machines were awesome. Highly recommended!

Pickup service at train station. Early check in and service is excellent. However the breakfast set is mostly pickled vegetables which is not worth the price. When I asked for coffee while in the dining room, I was asked to go to the coffee machine. After breakfast, I went to pick up a coffee at lobby. However I saw the same service staff was at the coffee machine to take coffee. Is this because I can drink tea, I have to go to take coffee myself and coffee is only served to westerners by service staff ???

とても良かったですが、料理についてもうすこし工夫が欲しかったです。例えば、カニの唐揚げか、焼きがにすると、ボイルやゆでるだけよりさらに蟹の素晴らしさがより引き立つと思います。 宿の雰囲気も素晴らしかったです

La gentillesse de tous, la qualité des petits déjeuners et du dîner, comme le cadre à l'intérieur de cet hôtel sont remarquables. L'onsen est vraiment très agréable avec son grand espace intérieur, son sauna et ses 2 bassins extérieurs, dont l'un d'eau froide. Même après avoir fait le tour des onsens de la ville, pourtant bien typiques, celui de cet hôtel vaut de le privilégier. Un bon point pour le service aux bagages, qui ont été déposés gracieusement, le jour de notre départ, à la maison du tourisme, en face de la gare. C'est vrai, cet hôtel n'est pas au coeur de la cité, mais tout concours à le choisir quand même, à 5 minutes de marche à pied.

スタッフの皆さんとても親切で、温泉街から少し離れているので、宿のバスで送迎してもらったり、近くのコンビニで買い物をしたいというとバスで送って、買い物中も待っていてくださりたいへん助かりました。 館内の温泉や露天風呂、ラウンジも良かったです。

One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended! Everything was thoughtfully done and well maintained. The onsite onsen was beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor bathing areas. The traditional Japanese dinners and breakfasts were wonderful experiences, served in a private dining room and featuring multiple courses, including crab. The rooms were spotless, and the central garden created a tranquil focal point that could be enjoyed from the lobby lounge area and seen from our traditional room. We stayed a couple of nights, and would easily return again.
