There was never anyone at the front desk. The restaurant was closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The breakfast area didn’t open until 7:00am and the food was gas station food,( prepackaged sandwiches that you warmed up in microwave, prepackaged muffins and cinnamon rolls) and the coffee was just warm. Would not stay there again.

We were disappointed with our stay as restaurant was closed both days we stayed (Monday & Tuesday) Disrespectful & rude front desk help. Need a front desk sign if helping with pro shop. We had no idea if he heard the bell ring & had to wait several minutes before we could check in or check out. The drain in our bathroom sink did not work as water drained really slow. The resort was nice & quiet & away from all the hustle.

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise after a long day of travel. The bar and grill was a godsend since we were really tired and didn't want to have to drive again to eat. The prices were surprisingly reasonable. The atmosphere was relaxing since it's on a golf course and away from the hubbub of touristy areas. The room was spacious and it was nice being able to sit outside on the balcony overlooking the course. My only issue is that the the bed was way to soft for me. The breakfast was very basic, but not having to go out to eat is still a big plus. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel and room was nice and clean. It did have a dehumidifier going in the room. At night, we would just turn it off because it was pretty loud not an issue. We didn't golf we stayed to go view the fall colors. The golf course/lodge is just a short distance from 42, which we found very convenient. The staff-Cole was wonderful. We enjoyed having the bar open to watch the Brewer and Packer games. I feel like the owner treats his employees like family, so the employees treat you like family. You don't get that much these days. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

This is a very basic place to stay, but everything was clean and the room was spacious. A balcony with two chairs and a table overlooking the course was a nice touch, as was the pool table in tho bar. The complimentary breakfast ran until 10am, which was nice. Some streaming channels, like Netflix, would have been appreciated. I would stay here again.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel grounds could have been weeded better. Being this is a golf course, we were surprised at the amount of weeds by the hotel. Overall happy with our stay and would come back.

The "restaurant" and bar were closed Monday-Wednesday and being in the middle of nowhere, we had to drive for any food or drink, the room was on the spendy side, and our golf course view was two bushes that were so overgrown we saw nothing else. Staff was okay but seemed bothered.

They have a bar and kitchen that can cook a decent meal for lunch/ dinner but dont offer a hot breakfast. Only microwave sandwich, cereal, pastry, yogurt. Coffee was so week one morning lt was not even good to drink. Carpet in stairwell was filthy and needs good carpet clean. Bathroom is very, very dark and bath fan was getting loud- bearings going bad. Room was clean, linens where clean. Great views of the area. Not a bad price for what you get.

This was a mom/daughter weekend trip. Let me start with the positives. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Now for the not so good part. The pictures are very deceiving on the website. When we pulled up we literally drove around a couple times to make sure we were at the correct location. The sign in front is very small and hard to read. The parking lot needs to be repaired and the bushes and flowers are over grown with weeds and looks very uninviting. The entrance had a puddle of water everyday even with no rain and the front doors are not very accommodating with luggage. The entrance needs a thorough cleaning of the cobwebs and the door to exit is black with dirt. The front desk is messy with an array of items all over the place. (See pics) The whole inside is EXTREMELY OUTDATED!! Staffing seems to be an issue because the same person working the front desk is also working the golf store on the lower level. It was hard to track down a person even if there is a button to push for assistance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. They tried to update the room but it still felt uninviting. There was a dehumidifier in the room that needed to be emptied daily and poor lighting in the rooms. The one thing I felt was unsafe was that there are no phone in the room. If your cell was dead or broken or many times there was poor reception, there was no phone in case of emergencies or to call the front desk. A makeover is desperately needed!!

This was our second time staying here. The property is older, but very well maintained. The hotel is very clean and quiet. We booked a golf view, jetted tub suite and the room was huge. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was simple but nice. Breakfast was ok. Sandwiches you had to heat in your own room’s microwave. Had some yogurt, cereal and fruit. Was expecting more but filled our stomachs u til lunch. Was in a nice and quiet neighborhood outside of town. Dehumidifier we turned off at night as it was noisy.

Husband thought bed was too soft, but I really liked it. Breakfast was all pre-packaged stuff... not the best. The room had a great view! And was very quiet!

We really liked our stay here. The views from the room were very nice. Facing the way we saw beautiful sunrises every morning. The hotel is just a few minutes outside of Sturgeon bay so the start gazing was also fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It honestly was better than we expected. I recommend it! Oh also there's golf ;)

We really liked the size of our room. It looked newly redecorated. The tv was easy to use which usually doesn’t happen when we travel. The rate was great. Nice variety at continental breakfast .

This property is older but clean and well kept. We enjoyed the quiet out of town spot but yet close to the main road. Will definitely stay again. Loved the small balconies and the view of the golf course.

We stumbled across this place and couldn't be happier. Great rates, very nice room, great view of the 9th hole from our balcony. Everyone there was fantastic, especially Kim, he worked in the Pro shop and was very entertaining. We are definitely coming back with more friends and family.

We had no idea if he heard the bell ring & had to wait several minutes before we could check in or check out. The drain in our bathroom sink did not work as water drained really slow. The resort was nice & quiet & away from all the hustle.

Beautiful property and room. The most quiet room I have ever stayed in! Yorinda, front clerk was very helpful accommodating all our questions. The first evening, we arrived at dinner time and decided to try their bar/grill. I had a grilled burger with salad which was delicious. We sat on deck overlooking the golf course for a pleasant dining experience. The meal cost as little as a fast food meal. The room was sparkling clean and beds were very comfortable. Perfect spot to stay near Sturgeon Bay.

The hotel and room was nice and clean. It did have a dehumidifier going in the room. At night, we would just turn it off because it was pretty loud not an issue. We didn't golf we stayed to go view the fall colors. The golf course/lodge is just a short distance from 42, which we found very convenient. The staff-Cole was wonderful. We enjoyed having the bar open to watch the Brewer and Packer games. I feel like the owner treats his employees like family, so the employees treat you like family. You don't get that much these days. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Staff was pretty unorganized. Rooms were pretty old and in need of some updating. Golf course was beautiful. Well kept and challenging. Great value if you don't mind staying in an old hotel.

The hotel is older it used to be managed by someone else who had more hospitality. We always went yearly & booked through Hotel.com and it allow us all the same privileges. Now new owner says not booking direct with them didn’t give us any of those privileges. At this point, we’ll stay somewhere else.

This was a mom/daughter weekend trip. Let me start with the positives. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Now for the not so good part. The pictures are very deceiving on the website. When we pulled up we literally drove around a couple times to make sure we were at the correct location. The sign in front is very small and hard to read. The parking lot needs to be repaired and the bushes and flowers are over grown with weeds and looks very uninviting. The entrance had a puddle of water everyday even with no rain and the front doors are not very accommodating with luggage. The entrance needs a thorough cleaning of the cobwebs and the door to exit is black with dirt. The front desk is messy with an array of items all over the place. (See pics) The whole inside is EXTREMELY OUTDATED!! Staffing seems to be an issue because the same person working the front desk is also working the golf store on the lower level. It was hard to track down a person even if there is a button to push for assistance. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. They tried to update the room but it still felt uninviting. There was a dehumidifier in the room that needed to be emptied daily and poor lighting in the rooms. The one thing I felt was unsafe was that there are no phone in the room. If your cell was dead or broken or many times there was poor reception, there was no phone in case of emergencies or to call the front desk. A makeover is desperately needed!!

Average hotel, clean, efficient. Not close to any restaurants, shops you had drive to sturgeon bay about 15 min away. Just used as a base for door county activities.

We love staying here. The golf is great, and the service is wonderful. It's just north of Sturgeon Bay which is a great location as a home base to set out and discover Door County.

This is a beautiful property. So quiet. My room had a balcony that overlooked the 18th hole. There was a restaurant in the hotel. The girls working the front desk are super nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and the breakfast provided in the morning was really great. Coffee was amazing. The location of this place was perfect too. We visited several beaches within a 20 minute drive.

We really liked our stay here. The views from the room were very nice. Facing the way we saw beautiful sunrises every morning. The hotel is just a few minutes outside of Sturgeon bay so the start gazing was also fantastic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It honestly was better than we expected. I recommend it! Oh also there's golf ;)

Older facility but maintained fairly well. Room was large and bed was comfortable. Location was off the beaten path but not far from restaurants and other points of interest. Breakfast was not much but you can find something to hold you over until lunch.

This property is older but clean and well kept. We enjoyed the quiet out of town spot but yet close to the main road. Will definitely stay again. Loved the small balconies and the view of the golf course.

There was never anyone at the front desk. The restaurant was closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The breakfast area didn’t open until 7:00am and the food was gas station food,( prepackaged sandwiches that you warmed up in microwave, prepackaged muffins and cinnamon rolls) and the coffee was just warm. Would not stay there again.

They have a bar and kitchen that can cook a decent meal for lunch/ dinner but dont offer a hot breakfast. Only microwave sandwich, cereal, pastry, yogurt. Coffee was so week one morning lt was not even good to drink. Carpet in stairwell was filthy and needs good carpet clean. Bathroom is very, very dark and bath fan was getting loud- bearings going bad. Room was clean, linens where clean. Great views of the area. Not a bad price for what you get.

Very friendly staff. Room was nice like most i have stayed in before. The shower had hot water one day but would not get hot the next day. The sliding door to balcony would stick and was tough opening. They state they have a bar and grill. That would be the only thing i would say was bad there. I went to get a cheese pizza at 830and they were not sure if they had that but came back and told me they did which was great but what they brought me was the entire top of the pizza completely burnt and the crust under not cooked at all. Not sure if this went in an oven or how they prepared it to burn the cheese on top completely but not cook the crust of it so would not recommend the restaurant part but hotel was a nice comfortable stay other than those few things mentioned previously

Location not as convenient as we thought, Was 1 hour drive to Washington Island Ferry and long drive to majority of sights. Breakfast was lame-cold, premade gas station egg sandwiches to heat up in microwave, cereal cups, to go juices, gas station muffins, saw one banana for fruit. Coffee was out by 9am and not replenished. Room had dehumidifier so loud, kept us up all night and needed to be emptied by us twice daily. Appreciated the kind staff and cheaper price, that's about it though.

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise after a long day of travel. The bar and grill was a godsend since we were really tired and didn't want to have to drive again to eat. The prices were surprisingly reasonable. The atmosphere was relaxing since it's on a golf course and away from the hubbub of touristy areas. The room was spacious and it was nice being able to sit outside on the balcony overlooking the course. My only issue is that the the bed was way to soft for me. The breakfast was very basic, but not having to go out to eat is still a big plus. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The "restaurant" and bar were closed Monday-Wednesday and being in the middle of nowhere, we had to drive for any food or drink, the room was on the spendy side, and our golf course view was two bushes that were so overgrown we saw nothing else. Staff was okay but seemed bothered.

Room was just as described. Jimmy Dean’s for breakfast was also a plus. Only problem was that the air conditioner was noisy when trying to sleep. Easy to get to everything in DC.

We didn't golf because of time schedule but seemed interesting for a 5800 yard course on a elevation changing property. Simple free breakfast. I don't think great property for children but great one for seniorsnot looking for huge amenities. We liked it a lot. Plus bar to end the day. :)

Bathrooms are small. Breakfast was do it yourself using heatable sandwiches or cold cereals Golf course looked fine with good rates. Only used driving range. It is in a remote location in the country. Would stay again and play golf course.

The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The water pressure was great. The locatiTje peice was righton was pretty and close to highway 42. The free breakfast was basic but enough to get you started on your day. The staff was great.
