The Manor

The Manor is only a short walk to the "Gallery Walk" at Tamborine Mountain. The Manor is at the front of the property and contains the restaurant, decorated with items from the original family. The accommodation rooms are behind the main building, and decorated as a charming country manor. I would not have thought that it is wheelchair friendly; but there is an electric car charger at the front. The only disappointing note is that it could do with a refresh, and there is a need for some maintenance on fixings. Overall, I'd consider coming back again.

Lovely gardens, fantastic atmosphere with the Victoria stile furniture, pool and sauna were very enjoyable, also had a game of pickle ball that was a lot of fun. The staff are very friendly and helpful, family business. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back soon

Hassle-free. Very convenient location for restaurants. Room was comfortable and quiet. No complaints. It even has a Pickleball court.

awesome place and nice room.. staff charged us extra to play tennis and couldnt couldn't find the "sauna" anywhere

I didnt like that it had no toaster or microwave in the room. Dining hall near by was expensive. Beautiful property but to far away from Brisbane like 40minutes. To cold for pool. Unsure if sauna functioning. Owners were pleasant enough.

Historical nature of the property. Room was spacious with a nice balcony. However, the view from our balcony looked on the back of the main building and it is definitely needing some love. Still, however , a lovely garden with birds. Also a pickleball court, a sauna (??) and a pool (we didn't use).

Charged our EV also. Pretty gardens.

The Manor was an excellent place to stay. The building and surrounds are charming, clean and well laid out. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food and bar are well stocked and delicious. The pool did have some leaves and debris at the bottom but was beautifully cold on a hot day. The town of Tamborine is a short walk with lots to see and experience. The only downside was I couldn’t stay longer.

Very gorgeous room and place, visibly old but adds to the charm, pool is dirty and not heated but wasn't much of a problem as there is a lot of cute cafes and activities within walking distance or a short drive.

Absolutely loved our stay here. This is an old property but it is immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed. Very spacious room with a separate sitting area with settee. Water pressure in shower was supersonic! Had roast beef in the restaurant and it was delicious. Would stay again without hesitation.

Room was clean and staff were very helpful even the staff help me to carry my bags to the room and the room was very comfy and peaceful what we needed to relax I am one of your happy customer ☺️

The staff were helpful, & responded promptly to my email query. The resort was a bit tired looking in places, but the rooms were authentic to the era. Room was clean and the linen was good quality. Meals are not served every day, but we were able to have dinner Monday night. It was excellent, and very reasonably priced. Would stay again if visiting this lovely area.

We had planned to stay here for three nights. But left after two. The hotel is very neglected. The rooms are extremely neglected just about everything it’s broken or not functioning as it should also filthy. You don’t want to use it. The hot water tap had a hammer that would wake the entire complex every time you tried to turn it on. The curtains were so filthy. I didn’t feel like I could close them because I didn’t want to touch them. The door lock was broken on the Veranda and the only thing keeping it in place was a slide bolt . The windows had to be kept open at all times because of the smell in the room from being mouldy and dusty. What made worse was the people Next Door with smokers? So on occasion you needed to close the windows and then smell the dust? Not sure what’s worse smoke or dust? The hallways were covered in cobwebs and the door opposite our room frame was so rotted away that it didn’t reach the ground any more. Our first day/night there the room next door was not made up and the doors left open and the stench of the wet towel seat into the corridor just adding to the general ambience of the place. On entering the room the first sight we had was a dead cockroach on the ground followed by a dead spider. The only benefit I suppose is that they were dead. There was no hand soap or shower wash I didn’t bother asking for more because I thought I was for better to use stuff I brought from HoME. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Staff extremely friendly property required significant up keep, cleaning of common areas & some repairs

The manor is beautiful outside. Inside the unit it is mouldy. The bed was hard. The blankets had stains. The bathroom was where you made coffee or tea. The orange carpet had huge mould stains. Would loved to leaved but had no where else to go. Tried to call reception no answer.

The first night the rooms are very generous in size even though they’re quite funky and out there. Shower pressure is also amazing to have a shower would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Clean room. Air conditioner works well. Hot shower with good pressure. Close to gallery walk. Gas fireplace doesn't work. Not very friendly at reception e.g. arrived 10mins early at 1.45pm instead of 2pm and made to feel like an inconvenience, manager stated "your a bit early" with a frown. Only two of us in room but sleep separately. Paid extra $60 for 'extra bed' which was just a pair of sheets and pillow cases as the sofa bed was already there! Many other accommodation options at Mount Tamborine mountain. We won't return.

If you like a place with a lot of old character and charm this is for you. This would have been really nice once upon a time but it's starting to need some love. The floors clunk and creak, there were cracked tiles and a vent hanging off the wall. The small A/C was the only heating and was not up to the task, it was -1c this morning. The plus side was everything was clean and the bed was comfy so still a lot better than many places. PS If you want dinner check first as they only open certain nights.

I bought this night for my sons girlfriends 30th birthday. They stayed there together and loved it except the tv had no reception and were unable to watch it, i was very disappointed about that. They had to of known

1. Room was spacious with separate lounge area to raised floor section that housed the bed and bedroom furniture. 2. The TV screen was on the small side and the remote didn't work. Was attended to by the manager - it may have needed fresh batteries. 3. The shower recess is looking tired and non-sterile; it is in need of a good clean - had missing sealant where wall tiles meet the floor tiles. 4. No microwave provided. 5. Overall though it was a comfortable place to stay for a few nights.

What a hidden gem! This beautifully renovated old-style motel has so much charm and character. The grounds are absolutely stunning and so well maintained, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and full of historic charm, while still feeling fresh and comfortable. The staff truly made our stay special – so friendly, helpful and genuinely caring. You can feel the love and pride they put into this place. We’ll definitely be back!

A wonderful view out to the ocean from the garden and an easy walk to Gallery Walk - what better location to explore Tamborine Mountain! We thoroughly enjoyed being there on a Monday night when a group of musicians come together for a jamming session in the restaurant - a lovely meal and great music. This is, however, an ageing property with lots of work to be done - but, although needing an update, our room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

We booked a long weekend away for our our Wedding Anniversary and it stated that they are pet friendly. . . After a two hour drive we then found out that they were not. They were VERY rude about this situation and we were not allowed to stay. In our notes we mentioned we had a small dog and to inform us if this is a problem. . . they did not inform us then we had another two hour drive home. We conntacted WOTIF for a refund and they were VERY helpful but again when WOTIF contacted them they were very rude. On the service alone we will not be going back

The property was very quaint and the room extremely comfortable and the food was lovely unfortunately the staff were incredibly rude and inhospitable which was very disappointing as they seem to be the owners. I would stay there again to try it one more time as the property itself was lovely and great location.

Building is aged but style is nice Victorian era. The staff are a bit impersonal and not very friendly. The price is slightly expensive for what you get

We had a nice stay for two nights. The room was inexpensive but had everything we needed. The staff were lovely, noting a particularly exceptional moment of customer service where a man at the front desk went out of his was to get the coffee machine back up and running after that service had stopped, just to make a coffee for me. I didn’t have the expectation that someone should do that for me but it was greatly appreciated that he went above and beyond for me. The bed was also quite comfortable and the shower surprisingly good for an older establishment. The bar area had so much charm. We really enjoyed having a few drinks there. And there’s a great brewery right across the road. We will definitely be back frequently for our staycations, especially if they keep their prices so competitive. The visits to our balcony from the local birds was also a highlight. Thank you to the team for such a great little getaway. :)

Nothing at the Manor is too much for the management and staff. They're very accommodating and make you feel like you are staying with family. It should be everyone's first choice for accommodation at Mt Tamborine.

Charming little place that’s located perfectly, walking distance to Gallery Walk, the brewery, and creamery. The staff were absolutely lovely, with lots of local recommendations. The decor is whimsical and everything was spotlessly clean

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor and feel it is undersold on the Expedia website. It is situated across the road from Fortitude Brewing a great place to visit, another minute on Gallery Walk there are many cafes, shops, wine specialists etc. We could not have asked for a better location. The hotel, while quaint, is friendly, clean, has great parking, internet etc. If in the area we would definitely stay there again. It wasn\'t clear from the website that there was an en suite bath/shower room, in fact we almost didn\'t book as we were not sure. Maybe Australians call it something else but we always look for "en suite" - maybe it needs adding?

Stayed here on a Thursday night when there was no staff to check in and the bar and restaurant were closed. Great location close to Gallery Walk but feel the place needs a revamp as the accomodation is looking tired - not great that the paint of the whole ceiling trim in the bathroom was peeling off. Like the historical aspect of the Manor and would enjoy staying here again after a refresh of the facilities.
