Der Royokan bietet alles was man sich für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in dem Hakone Gebiet wünscht. Einen sehr schönen Onsen Bereich und auch private Onsen. Das Essen war super, die Zimmer groß, sauber und traditionell eingerichtet. Wir würden jederzeit hier wieder übernachten

This hotel was one of the best stays we ever had. Private Tub on the balcony, incredible kaiseki meals, right at the base of the tram and train arrival. Had a 10 pm ramen bar and an afternoon snack bar. This felt like the Japan we dreamed about.

Hot spring in the room was a bit dirty and the yukata clothes were a little dirty. Towels had a certain smell to them too. There are 3 private onsen rooms too, but you have to wait for a while because there is no time limit. Dinner and breakfast were included and delicious. Also had a bunch of other food amenities like yogurt (?), fish grill, and ramen, but I did not get to try.

整體很滿意。只是房間洗澡位置於戶外，冬天去是真的很冷，建議到大浴場洗澡會比較好。 3個私人風呂去了2個，感覺是不錯的喇，晚上浸着看着天空中的星星很寫意。一泊兩食的食物質素都很好。因為住了2天都訂了一泊兩食，剛好試了他們兩款的晚餐。他們的安排也很好～早餐不會重複、晚餐的甜品也沒有重複，這真的很細心。另外，是次是結婚周年慶祝，我們也先跟酒店聯絡有否可外購的慶祝服務，我們訂了晚餐時甜品dessert plate。他們還附送我們心意卡及小禮物，真的很驚喜。當然不少得，不同時段的小食、宵夜拉麵等等都讓我們很滿意。重點很近強羅車站，走過去只是1-2分鐘。

Traditional hotel with incredible public bath facilities. We loved the ambiance and the included traditional meals (breakfast and dinner). The staff were so helpful and the food service was top notch. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing one night stay. Our room is a traditional tatami with a modern twist for bed and washing facilities - wonderful. The hotpot dinner was great, with many appetizers and sushi's. And the breakfast was no second to the dinner the night before. I hardly eat any breakfast usually, but in that morning I felt I had a lunch and a dinner. We didn't go to the public hot pools, nor the private ones which were always occupied. So instead we had our soaking in our balcony where we fill the soaking bath with hot spring water. The hotel is less than 2 minutes walking distance from the Gora train station and the cable car which took us to Hakone and back. The park and museum just a short walk up the hill were wonderful.

とても快適に過ごせました。お風呂が良かったです。貸切風呂も３つあって、予約なしで使えました。食事も美味しかったです。夕食も朝食もバイキングではなく、ちゃんとした旅館みたいでした。あと、強羅駅から歩いて数分なので、朝に荷物を預けて、手軽に箱根を楽しめました。おすすめです。

Very easy to use train and cable car at Gora Station, Gora Park and bus stop. Japanese set breakfast was elaborate and good experience. Large room was well equipped. Nice to have free tea, coffee, snacks kimono and towels. Building and wooden hot Spring pools showing their age. Limited dining options in hotel or around town are either very basic or quite expensive.

Felt like had traditional design elements and a beautiful hotel. Enjoyed the private hot springs (no reservation required). Good selection at gift shop. Enjoyed the complimentary samue loungewear, yukata wrap, hanten jacket and geta sandals. Breakfast was a good selection of different food items. Restaurants around town very busy, hotel has option to make reservation and eat dinner there.

離強羅站只有一分鐘之內路程，非常之方便。館內環境有日式亭園風味，適合拍照留念。而且館內有浴衣可以免費借用，也能穿到街上拍照留念。可是温泉日久失修，感覺殘舊，檜木腐爛變形，而且滑潺潺。房間被分配到全館最遠的地方，而且size 比較其他房間少，有點失望。(價錢相近，只是由hotel.com book) 晚餐早餐豐富，而且味道很好。員工友善，服務態度良好。

The room is old with poor lighting. The Aircon was terribly warm and dry despite we set the temperature to below 20 degrees. The in room humidifier does not work. The in room private onsen does not seem to be authentic because when I start filling the bath I can hear some gas heater started working. There is also no sulphur deposit around the bath which is usually the case for onsen facilities. The "kaiseki" dinner and breakfast was so so... In both quantity and quality. Both rice bowls provided during the breakfast were dirty. Given the price of 800+ SGD we paid, it is not up to expectations.

This has got to be the worse maintained property I have seen in Japan so far. Other said the hotel is old. I have seen old hotel but in much better shape. We were assigned the building further away. Hallway walls shows wear and partially patched up. Inside the room you can see air eommo dust and very heavy limestone formed on the shower glass door as if they've never cleaned it. Dust also obvious in the mens changing room where you dry your hair. There were 6 spots for the hairdryer but only 3 stools. Not recommend for the price I paid. Only positive point is the location, being the closest to Gora Station. that's all

建物自体は古く、修理中か何かで入れない所が多かったのですが、とても清潔に保たれていました。お料理は美味しく満足出来ましたが、2部性になっていて、1部目だと食事の時間が1時間半くらいしか無く、のんびり出来なかったのが少し残念でした。料理の量が若い男性でも満足できる程で、女性には食べきれないくらいでした。美味しかったので、時間掛けても食べたかったなと思いました。スタッフが皆さん感じよく、気持ちよく滞在出来ました。

内壁や、木の柵などが古く、あちこち破れたり歩きにくかったり、ホコリをかぶっていた。網戸も破れていて、虫が入ってきた。人的サービスは良かったが、設備投資が進んでいない印象だった。食事は普通より多めでよかった。

部屋は綺麗でサービスも良かったただ洗面所の隅に埃があったのが少し気になりました夕食が遅くなるお客さんには団子や蒲鉾を出していただき楽しかったです帰る時に玄関前で夫婦の写真を撮っていただき嬉しかったです

We had a great experience staying here. With breakfast and dinner are provided with kaiseki style, it was prepared properly and organized. Staff are kind and friendly. The room has tatami mats and very clean with outdoor bathtubs. Although the facility is kinda run down, we still enjoy our stay. The train station is just next to the hotel and bus stop is right outside the hotel. We will stay here again next time.

The property little old you can tell, little noisy when people walk through the corridor, no protection in between two building, you will feel very cool when you cross in between.at winter. Room very spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful hakone onsen experience! My only complaint would be that some areas seemed to need a little updating. But other than that the rooms were very spacious and there were a lot of amenities included in the cost of the room.

The hotel itself is great but the room is a bit dated. Overall it is clean and comfortable though. It is close to the Gora station and it is so convenient to travel around. Our stay included dinner and breakfast. Food is good and the servers are excellent. I like the 3 private onsens a lot. Though it is first come first serve, but usually we didn't need to wait.

Overly priced; - Both quantity and quality of food in the dinner are not up to the standard for onsen hotel - Shower is completely outdoor, it's freezing to take shower in winter time - The open-air bath is not hot-spring water which is not explicitly specified on the booking page

It was a truly full-service, relaxing experience, even with our two kids in tow. Every detail and thoughtful extra made our stay exceptional. The kids loved their little kimonos and felt so included. The location was perfect -just a short walk to the cable cars, bus stops, and plenty of delicious food options. Our room was spacious, and the private open-air onsen was such a treat. The traditional breakfast included with the half-board was an adventure for us Westerners, but we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Such a serene, zen experience - highly recommend if you’re passing through Hakone!

The hotel is less than 2 minutes walking distance from the Gora train station and the cable car which took us to Hakone and back. The park and museum just a short walk up the hill were wonderful.

The room is old with poor lighting. The Aircon was terribly warm and dry despite we set the temperature to below 20 degrees. The in room humidifier does not work. The in room private onsen does not seem to be authentic because when I start filling the bath I can hear some gas heater started working. There is also no sulphur deposit around the bath which is usually the case for onsen facilities. The "kaiseki" dinner and breakfast was so so... In both quantity and quality. Both rice bowls provided during the breakfast were dirty. Given the price of 800+ SGD we paid, it is not up to expectations.

A great traditional stay in a Japanese onsen hotel. The hotel rooms were large and comfortable. Our room had the traditional floor seating and private wooden bath in the balcony, all of which was well maintained. The hotel included dinner and breakfast as part of the stay which again was traditional. Dinner was huge including several courses which had all been translated and explained in English. Breakfast is also traditional Japanese fare including rice, fish and miso (so if you’re a coffee and toast sort of person you will be disappointed) Again this was generous portion! The hotel is super central, just a short distance from the Gora station making it easy to access upon arrival and also central for all other attractions in the area.

食物アレルギーがあるので、事前に問い合わせをしたところ、丁寧な対応をしていただきました。スタッフのみなさんも常に手を抜かずに働いている光景が、なんだか気持ちがよかったです。お部屋についている露天風呂は、温泉水ではないとの事ですが、檜の香りがしてとても気持ちよく入浴できました。大浴場も綺麗で、ゆったりとできました。

The stay is fine However, when I check out , the staff claimed that I haven’t paid for the stay and asked me to settle the payment After clarifying the whole issue, it was discovered that it was the problem of Expedia, therefore, I was very disappointed with the reservation experience because the hotel said that my booking had been cancelled and rebooked again by the Expedia. Moreover, one of the staff there was not helpful.

施設の一部が修繕されぬままでした。脱衣所浴室の扉がこわれたままで寒かったです。所々そうした施設の管理不足がみえます。無料のサービスも充実していました。良し悪しはともかく。スタッフはほとんどが若い皆さんで、はきはきして素早い対応に好感がもてましたが、逆にそれが弱点にもなっている事もありました。お食事は美味しさボリュームともに大満足！立地も最高です！

Eldre og klassisk lokale med god mat. Flotte onsen og eget friluftsbad på rommet. Rommet opplevdes som varmt, men var mulighet for å lufte til balkong. Generelt sett hyggelig personale, men servitørene ved spisestedene var noe trege og uoppmerksomme.

We had a great experience staying here. With breakfast and dinner are provided with kaiseki style, it was prepared properly and organized. Staff are kind and friendly. The room has tatami mats and very clean with outdoor bathtubs. Although the facility is kinda run down, we still enjoy our stay. The train station is just next to the hotel and bus stop is right outside the hotel. We will stay here again next time.

The hotel is right at the cable car and train station, very convenient for guests to go to the park/mountains and to the town of Hakone and beyond. Breakfast and dinner are very good. The in room hot springs tub is great, as you don’t have to go to the public hot springs in the open. We had a great stay and fortunately enough to be able to see Mount Fuji on our last day, as it was raining before that.

The hotel is right at the cable car and train station, very convenient for guests to go to the park/mountains and to the town of Hakone and beyond. Breakfast and dinner are very good. It was a truly full-service, relaxing experience, even with our two kids in tow. Every detail and thoughtful extra made our stay exceptional. The kids loved their little kimonos and felt so included. The location was perfect -just a short walk to the cable cars, bus stops, and plenty of delicious food options. Our room was spacious, and the private open-air onsen was such a treat. The traditional breakfast included with the half-board was an adventure for us Westerners, but we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Such a serene, zen experience - highly recommend if you’re passing through Hakone!

Very easy to use train and cable car at Gora Station, Gora Park and bus stop. Japanese set breakfast was elaborate and good experience. Large room was well equipped. This hotel was one of the best stays we ever had. Private Tub on the balcony, incredible kaiseki meals, right at the base of the tram and train arrival. Had a 10 pm ramen bar and an afternoon snack bar. This felt like the Japan we dreamed about.

同系列の＜翠雲＞に宿泊した経験に比べてしまうとやや見劣りがしますが、強羅駅至近の絶対的に便利な立地、各客室に木風呂露天風呂があり自由にいつでも入ることができるなど、現代的な機能を持ちつつ伝統的な温泉宿の雰囲気も併せ持った素晴らしい宿泊施設であることに変わりはないでしょう。夕食の内容にやや難があったと思いますので、記しておきます。『揚げ物を最後に出すようなことがないように』、『鍋物に加えて、鍋の具材と同じような野菜の種類による鰹をあしらった"海鮮サラダ"はやや興醒め』、『お品書きの順番と実際に供される料理の順番が一致しない時がある』などを改善してほしいと思いました。

We love to stay here when we visit Hakone. The only downside to booking with Expedia is that dinner is not included! I enjoy having dinner there since it is a nice japanese experience but there wasn't an option to add on dinner and by the time I arrived, it was all booked up.

El hotel es muy grande y bonito, muy tradicional. Las habitaciones súper espaciosas y con todas las comodidades necesarias. El único detalle fue que no reservamos la cena ni el desayuno desde que hicimos la reservación inicial y al llegar ya no fue posible incluirla, ya que estaban llenos.

Amazing onsen hotel/ryokan, it has multiple choices of public and private onsens to enjoy aswell as a bath on the balcony. We were in a Japanese room with tatami mats and a stunning view a lovely way to end our honeymoon and was also left a gift with a note wishing us a good honeymoon. I had a great time in the public onsen it was so relaxing with a mix of hot spring baths, an ice bath and sauna. It was a great first experience to have in a public onsen not too busy with it being a part of the accommodations. My wife has tattoos so wasn’t able to go in the public onsen as we forgot to bring coverings, but because they had a choice of three private baths she still got to experience all of them which were all different although we did have to wait 10 to 20 mins for them as they are often full. It is on the doorstep to the train station and train up to the ropeway so is perfect. I’d also recommend visiting the open air museum, park and pit stop brewery and pizza bar round the corner as little side experiences we got the Hakone pass which made the time there a lot easier.

We were in a Japanese room with tatami mats and a stunning view a lovely way to end our honeymoon and was also left a gift with a note wishing us a good honeymoon. I had a great time in the public onsen it was so relaxing with a mix of hot spring baths, an ice bath and sauna. It was a great first experience to have in a public onsen not too busy with it being a part of the accommodations. My wife has tattoos so wasn’t able to go in the public onsen as we forgot to bring coverings, but because they had a choice of three private baths she still got to experience all of them which were all different although we did have to wait 10 to 20 mins for them as they are often full. It is on the doorstep to the train station and train up to the ropeway so is perfect. I’d also recommend visiting the open air museum, park and pit stop brewery and pizza bar round the corner as little side experiences we got the Hakone pass which made the time there a lot easier.

Amazing stay, perfect location, a great range of onsen. Definitely come here for a nice relaxing time. This was one of the best spots I have stayed in Japan and I've stayed at quite a few now!
