This place was an amazing find! The brunette receptionist (sorry, didn’t catch your name!) who checked us in was exceptionally enthusiastic, informative and friendly. Created such a welcoming vibe. The property is amazing! So much history and beauty! Can’t wait to return!

A perfect stay for couples or friends for a weekend away in the Southern Downs charming town of Warwick. The Abbey is a charming and historically significant part of Queensland that was a pleasure to stay in. Unique antique furniture and fittings, lovely comfortable bedding with mini lounges to relax. Some rooms have ensuite, the ones with private bathroom across hall equally good. Relax by the fireplace in communal lounge or attend a function or meal in exquisite dining room or outdoor setting for hosted events. A charming and delightful place. The host was professional and friendly. Look forward to seeing the landscape improvements to enhance activities at property over the coming Summer.

This1890 Gothic Abbey / Convent, is a trip down memory lane, even if your not Catholic. Is full of huge rooms all furnished in plush decor,4 poster beds, high ceilings, all rooms have views via huge double hung cedar frames. We slept in the St Bazil room (Bazil, the resident cat of 14yrs will greet you at the door in the room named after him). This room has ensuite, King Size bed, French doors open onto the raised timber verandah. Take in the smell of Cyprus Pines, resident Abbey chickens strolling past. A truly peaceful 5 star tranquil old sanctuary. Cooked b/fast incl cereal / hot drinks $30 for 2 guests. Our eggs and honey are all grown onsite. The owners live on site, they really make you feel like your at home. Take a walk through this former Convents rooms including the Chappel, huge dining room (a former classroom) the Attic and the huge wedding marquis. I have stayed twice this year, a great country escape if your passing through Warwick or a weekend getaway 2hrs up the Range from BNE. 10/10 from me.

A gracious and elegant venue, this former convent has been transformed into a boutique hotel of the highest standard. The grounds and building are ideal for a wedding, or a group trip. Hosts were very welcoming and made the experience even better. Dinner was excellent, and it all made for a very romantic getaway. They understand that the little touches make all the difference. We would recommend: - dining in at least some of your nights here; - the light breakfast (excellent value) - using Warwick as a base for travel around the wider region, from the Granite Belt (Girraween National Park), historic Tenterfield, wineries at Ballandean, Allora and the Mary Poppins House, as well as the Main Range National Parks and Queen Mary Falls.

Beautiful property, lovely setting! Very clean and cosy! The only negative, not for me but the verandah suite has the bathroom facilities down the hall instead of in the room, which might not suit everyone! It is your private bathroom but not in the room!

We stayed just one night. The rooms and the whole abbey has a really great atmosphere. Our room was very nice. The bathroom is located in the corridor but was very clean. You can have a possibility to order breakfast package as well. The staff is very friendly too.

A perfect stay for couples or friends for a weekend away in the Southern Downs charming town of Warwick. The Abbey is a charming and historically significant part of Queensland that was a pleasure to stay in. Unique antique furniture and fittings, lovely comfortable bedding with mini lounges to relax. Some rooms have ensuite, the ones with private bathroom across hall equally good. Relax by the fireplace in communal lounge or attend a function or meal in exquisite dining room or outdoor setting for hosted events. A charming and delightful place. The host was professional and friendly. Look forward to seeing the landscape improvements to enhance activities at property over the coming Summer.

This1890 Gothic Abbey / Convent, is a trip down memory lane, even if your not Catholic. Is full of huge rooms all furnished in plush decor,4 poster beds, high ceilings, all rooms have views via huge double hung cedar frames. We slept in the St Bazil room (Bazil, the resident cat of 14yrs will greet you at the door in the room named after him). This room has ensuite, King Size bed, French doors open onto the raised timber verandah. Take in the smell of Cyprus Pines, resident Abbey chickens strolling past. A truly peaceful 5 star tranquil old sanctuary. Cooked b/fast incl cereal / hot drinks $30 for 2 guests. Our eggs and honey are all grown onsite. The owners live on site, they really make you feel like your at home. Take a walk through this former Convents rooms including the Chappel, huge dining room (a former classroom) the Attic and the huge wedding marquis. I have stayed twice this year, a great country escape if your passing through Warwick or a weekend getaway 2hrs up the Range from BNE. 10/10 from me.

A gracious and elegant venue, this former convent has been transformed into a boutique hotel of the highest standard. The grounds and building are ideal for a wedding, or a group trip. It’s a wonderful place to stay. At first when I walked if it gave me the heeberjeebes being an old convent girl. But really if is gorgeous and quirky. Restaurant was bled out co cannot comment on that , but rooms and bathrooms lovely and very spacious

The Abbey is just lovely, has a wonder friendly vibe. The staff we encountered had pride in the property and we're always happy and helpful. The breakfast basket option was excellent and just the thing needed to get you on your way. Would highly recommend

We stayed just one night. The rooms and the whole abbey has a really great atmosphere. Our room was very nice. The bathroom is located in the corridor but was very clean. You can have a possibility to order breakfast package as well. The staff is very friendly too.

Our check in was friendly and full of information. Then taken to our room which was the Victoria room. Nice room comfy king bed and a sitting room, it overlooked the front entrance. Our own large bathroom was across the hallway, there was no issue with this. There was also a kitchen down the hallway with microwave and bigger fridge. The building was wonderful to walk around and imagine what it was. We had information sheets of what they were back in the past. Beautiful grounds , tennis court and large chess and checkers you can play in the grounds. The area is very quiet and a short 5 minute drive to main part of town

The Abbey was a beautiful location for our stay in Warwick. Warmly Welcomed to the Abbey and shown around the beautiful old building we had a delightful stay. The Attic room was from an by-gone age of luxury and the bed was wonderful. The only hiccup was the poor water pressure in the attic. Was fine but just not high pressure that I like.

Loved our stay at the Abbey. A beautiful building, great restoration. We were free to wander around on a self-guided tour. Such history. A particular mention of Allynne, who looked after so well and so pleasantly. She's a treasure! Particular highlight was a terrific cheese platter and glass of wine in the charming lounge.

Lovely building in quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The garden games were fun. Although there isn't a bar, as such, a good selection of drinks are kept in 'Mother Superior's' office and available via calling reception. There is no restaurant on site but there are restaurants nearby. Overall a pleasant stay. 5 stars would be achieved by offering breakfast even a continental type.
