Furniture and Technology was not to date. The railing had rotted wood and the room smelt very, very musty. The view of the water is from the 3rd floor walkway. The pool is advertised as heated but very cold. No Thanks!

THE POOL IS NOT OPEN!!! Hoping to help others. I booked this property for the pool and location. My search in Expedia was Literally “pool”., nowhere on the page was there a mention that the pool was closed for renovations. We check in and only find the pool is closed when another guest told their significant other to head to the pool. No signage, nothing. We are in the heat wave and I knew we weren’t going to Take our baby to the ocean until evening, we planned to sit around pool, Let her nap in ac then go to ocean and repost the next day. So disappointing. Also, the owner parking in the handicap spot right in front of the office seems pretty disrespectful.. we watched him pull out last night and was parked there this am. We left early from the all around disappointing stay.

This property was certainly an affordable option for a 2 night stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. A quick 5 minute walk to the village and 10 minutes to the beach. Pool was small but warm. The bathroom sink was not great and the area was rundown, but clean. Parking and staff was great.

- fire alarm malfunctioned at 6 in the morning -bed sheets were the wrong size and material very thin an worn - many of the balcony railing were rotted which creates an unsafe issue - in supervised children in the poor - key to room door, was unable to stick into door lock- lock needed to be adjusted - room was very old and looked tired - only positive comment, only a 15 minute walk to downtown

The staff was very friendly however whenever we went to the office to buy waters or get new towels, nobody was in there. We did eventually get some towels, but it was a little late. The rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable and it’s a really great location. The trolley stop is right outside the hotel. The pool area was nice too, and it has comfortable little rockers out on the balcony that you can hang out on.

What a wonderful place! Truly a life saver! After traveling over two hours, the “hotel” we had booked was beyond disgusting… frantic we looked around and chose the Sea View Motel! Absolutely changed our day around!! The gentleman checking us in was so kind and helpful!!! He made sure our room was perfect! The room was HUGE, jacuzzi tub was awesome, entire kitchen was super, beautiful views from several windows and the pool was open and spotless! Great location, wonderful people, awesome room!!! So super thankful!

Overall great experience staying here. The rooms and bedding were nice, as well as the dresser/closet space for your things. Only negative was that there was dried make up was stained on the bathroom sink, and slightly moldy shower curtains.

The location was great. Everything was walkable with many options to eat/shop near by. The only thing that wasn’t great was the cleaning. The floors must never be cleaned our feet were black from just walking around our room, even on the first night we got there when it should of been deep cleaned between stays. Also, room service threw out my entire box of tampons that i left in the bathroom, not sure why… Luckily CVS was right up the street to buy more… other than that, the room was decent.

This place is nothing fancy and some rooms are third-floor walk-ups, but the beds were comfortable, everything was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to town or there is a $5 shuttle out front during summer months.

I booked the hotel because it was close to town, but the listing presented as if there would be an ocean view. There was not, it was the view of the busy road. The property is generally run down, but they have definitely made some efforts at renovating and it was clean.

They are in the middle of updating the property, which is great. My room was extremely quiet and private, and the bed was 5 star excellent. The bathroom setup and shower were the only things not so great. The shower had horrible water pressure (had to stand right up to the front because it was almost a trickle). The staff was SO friendly and welcoming. I love a good shower for my hotel stays, but everting else was so great that I was happy regardless. Highly recommend for the price and I will be staying with them again.

“Sea view” is a stretch - perhaps there is a view, but not from any place we were. The property is clean, but old. No elevator. Our room had lumpy mattresses and was clean but very tired furnishing. It does have a great spot for lunch or breakfast within easy walk. We would not stay there again.

Nicely renovated king room, great location, very friendly staff, reasonably priced. Outside landscaping and staircases could use a little bit of renovating but we were very happy to stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed in the 2 queen bedroom which appears more modernly renovated indoors. Walls are quite thin, but other than that very pleasant stay for the price with proximity to downtown Ogunquit.

This was my second time staying at the Sea View. Checkin was a breeze and the staff was very accommodating switching my room to a lower floor. It is very quiet but also very close to all restaurants, shopping and other attractions.

Arrived, no one at front desk to greet us. Finally, attendant showed up, told us room would be ready at 2:00. Not the original quote of 11:00. We told attendant that was unacceptable, we’d find a hotel that could check us in, as we had been on the road for 12 hours. Horror story of a situation. They had better not charge us

I love the overall layout and location of the motel. The room was clean and well equipped, and we loved the balcony. Our friends were not directly next-door to us, but because of this spacious common balcony, it was easy for us to hang out together. The pool was great, but there were rocks on the bottom for a couple days in a row. Other than that, it was clean and refreshing. Unfortunately, desk service when checking in, was very slow. I usually like to check out in person, rather than using the key drop box, but I was waiting for 15 minutes with two people ahead of me and nothing was happening. The desk person disappeared in the back and did not come out for as long as I was there. So I just put my keys in the dropbox instead. I know this motel has new owners, and hopefully once they get used to running and staffing there, it will be smoother sailing.

The room was awesome for our girls weekend with a full kitchen and bedroom seperate (Romantic Suite with Jacuzzi tub). Beds were good, place was clean and nicely decorated. The biggest issue was noone there to check you in or out & despite having a Ring doorbell, no one came. 20 min to get someone to check us and I just left the key. Need front desk help there consistently.

Very close to everything around. About 15min walk to the beach with our 7years old twins. Less than 10min walk to the everything. We didn’t use our car.

This hotel is extremely fair and the type of hotel that I consider, you get what you pay for. Large rooms with a microwave and refrigerator. It’s in walking distance to mostly everything. About an 1/8th of a mile from the hub of action. A great omelet breakfast place directly across the street. It was clean and the staff was friendly. What more can you ask for. We paid 10-14-22 $160.59.

Room was damp, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and smelly. Noise from guest above kept us up the first night. Trash from previous guest’s was still in the room. No breakfast is served here and the coffee service was not reliable. The location is a slightly longer than comfortable walk to attractions. Did have daily maid service which was good. Probably wouldn’t stay again

Ogunquit area is very nice and loved it but I will never stay at the Seaview again. The room was dated and dirty. It was furnished like a collage fraternity with mix matched furniture. They said the lobby would be opened a 8am for coffee and I thought a breakfast but both days they opened after 8 then started make just coffee . We went out each morning for coffee at 6:30 -7 about the time the other hotels had coffee and breakfast. I've stayed in this area for over 20 years of vacations and never had a hotel stay as disappointing as this place. For the money paid it was shameful.

A proper old school seaside motel which was just what we wanted. Just 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and 3 minutes from the beach. Great cafes, restaurants and bars, the locals were very friendly. The Greenery cafe, almost next door does amazing breakfasts, don't be surprised to wait for a table

Staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating. Our room (12) was refreshed and renovated with contemporary furnishings and decor. It still has a motel feel, but with an elevated aesthetic. Nearby is the Greenery a nice place for breakfast. Minutes into all the village center action, too

Off main street in Oqunquit, Maine. Quiet rooms within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and beach. Nice, helpful staff Comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds with good mattresses. Rooms have mini kitchen area. Morning coffee at office nice plus. Clean and adequate swimming pool. Management makes everything very nice.

We were happy with our stay! It was a fast/easy check in. Our room was directly above the office which ended up being just fine since it was quiet. It was clean and nice to be close to the pool. We loved how the motel is within walking distance to restaurants (We enjoyed dinner at Ogunquit Lobster Pound and breakfast at the Greenery cafe). I removed one star because the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the balcony railings could use upkeep.

Likes……friendly staff, fruit and coffee in the office area. Rooms were clean, supplied clean towels when we needed them. Dislikes…..we had a corner room with one window. Outside the window was scaffolding and items left from renovations. Bath tub was very slippery, a rubber bath mat would have been a benefit. Coffee pot had no electric outlet to plug into where the coffee pot was placed and charging plugs did not work in the desk area. Some of what I mentioned was due to the remodeling and perhaps was overlooked. We were out of the room more than in it therefore we made the best of this experience.

First, the staff were very nice. Let's call out the positive. However, this is a cheap, outdated and rundown beach hotel. The difference between what they charge and what you get left me angry by the time I checked out. I was quoted a $600+ per night rack rate. I paid $260, and felt taken advantage of. The toilet did not flush. The electric outlet didn't function. The towels were cheap and so worn they were threadbare. The curtains extended to below the A/C vents, so either the curtain was left open and the sun came in in the morning, or the curtain was closed and blocked the air. The furnishings are cheap, Ikea particleboard. There is nothing about this hotel that justifies the price. God bless them if this is the Ogunquit market. But objectively, there is nothing to justify the amount this place charges. If that is the Ogunquit market, I won't return.

The motel was within walking distance to everything. We were able to get to both ends of the beach, every part of town and the Marginal Way in 20 minutes or less. The bed was comfortable and we got a good night's sleep after a very busy day.
