The second pool was closed! And so was the arcade! My child was having her birthday there. Her favorite part is going to the arcade. The pool was packed due to the other being closed. It was hard to keep track of all my children I had at the party. I feel I should have been offered a discount because of two out of their three featured amenities were closed.

Despite Monday being a holiday the pool was closed. They have a policy if there is no lifeguard present the pool can’t be open. So it was a total waste. The ice machine wasn’t even plugged in. The tile in the bathroom was peeling up.

We did not really have too great of an experience being that everything was closed. The main pool that we wanted to use was closed. The arcade that we played on entertaining the children in was closed. It was a party for an eight year old with children in the age range of 3 to ten And only pulls available on our side were for toddlers. Had I known this I would have not booked there. I left 6 hours after check-in will not book again

This place needs a remodel. The carpet in the halls are dirty, stained, and look disgusting. The swim up bar was not open at all for the 3 days we stayed. The restaurant in the hotel does not open until 11am. No breakfast of any kind on the property. This is supposed to be a resort. The arcade was not open the hours that it was supposed to be. There was someone there randomly if you were lucky. Overall the worst time. We were looking forward to being able to relax and stay on the property but we were forced to go elsewhere. There was also a party in the room next door to us that played loud music and yelling until after midnight.

Rooms were suppose to ready at 4 I preregistered and I wasn't able to get in room until after standing in line and waiting a hour. And they stopped having the shuttle to the park !!!

The only thing that was a disappointment was that the pool area that had the swim bar was not open either day that we were there due to lack of lifeguards.

When booking your stay you're sent information that the pools are open from 9AM-9PM. It says nothing about the fact that only one of the pools is open at 9 AM, the other pool was empty, & the other pool did not open until 4PM. Only one hot tub was open and only 3 of the jets worked. This is extremely misleading when you look at the photos and see all the pools. The hotel was dirty, outdated, & in serious need of repairs. Our room looked nothing like the rooms in the photos. Our room reminded us of a hospital or jail. There was no carpet and no furniture. They used the mini fridge as the TV stand. There was no microwave. Our door knob/lock was broken. We were not given enough toilet paper for our stay. Unfortunately we were there for State Track and it was too late to find another hotel or we wouldn't have stayed at all, certainly won't be back.

Upon check in I was assigned a room on the ground floor, when i went to that room i was greeted with an awful moldy smell and piles of dirty towels that were wet from some sort of leak. There were also other dirty towels around the room as well as food debris. I immediately contacted the front desk and they moved me to another room. The next room smelled better and was clean but the overall status was run down. The pools were not consistently open and closed at 9pm which is early compared to previous years.

Lobby area was updated & clean. Carpet in hallway of rooms was very stained. I knew ahead of time, from reviews, that sounds from pool area & hallways were loud & could be heard in the room, so I can’t complain since I knew ahead if time.

Worst hotel stay ever, depressing actually. This hotel is very rundown, dirty, bedding is a joke. Carpets have giant stains through out. Same trash was left in the hallways for days. Pool with swim up bar and hot tub in that area were also very dirty. We were to stay for three nights and we could not stay the final night. We left and I paid for a room elsewhere with no money back. Was 💯 worth it too, sad this hotel has been let go this long. Adventureland theme park was a beautiful, clean, well kept place. This hotel doesn't deserve to share the name.

Walls all scratches up and carpets in hallways full of black molds and stains… bed was very uncomfortable and found bugs and overnight hotel outside doors was unlocked and not safe…never going stay there again

They did not have our room ready at the check in time. I was told I would get a call/text when it was ready. An hour and a half later, I went back to the desk to discover a room was finally ready. No apologies or anything. There were at least 5 dirty bandaids in the hallways and pool areas. One of which had a bloody tissue next to it in the hallway the entire stay. Staff doesn’t seems to care to pick up the trash in the hallways, just walks by it.

We loved the location of our room- close to the kiddie pool and play area. Beds and pillows were so so as far as being comfy. Breakfast was decent in the morning but the staff was not good about refilling stuff. And we didn't have any soap in our room- had to keep asking for bars because it never got refilled. Overall good stay. Kids had a blast, great location in town and they even had a pack n play available which saved us some room in the car.

With each passing year, this property takes a dip. It doesn’t feel well taken care of. They removed carpet in the rooms but it still exists throughout the hallways. They updated the rooms but left wires just hanging where the tv was mounted and the dresser/drawers removed. The bedding is thin and feels like a paper towel. It seems the staff aren’t on the same page. The swim up bar was closed even though front desk said it’s open. Kids run rampant with zero supervision. There’s a weed smell throughout. We booked the night with a heavy discount. This is nowhere close to a $300 a night resort. Feels like a motel six with a pools that don’t feel particularly clean. They even removed a pirate ship with slides. You’re left with just 4 pools, one is a kiddie pool, with zero features you’d typically see from a resort with pools. Stay somewhere else nearby.

The staff was very nice and helped me with any questions I had. They gave my family rooms right next to eachother like I requested. The rooms were worn down and very outdated there was on table and one nightstand but nowhere else to set anything other than on the mini fridge. The flooring was coming up, the windows were gross, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

Kids running around halls non stop with no adult supervision, the floors in the room are tile or lvp maybe-they look nice but they are cold and hard to dry up from water, they stay moist. The heater fan was so loud it sounded like a helicopter or jet engine landing in our room but at least it was warm. We were supposed to have queen beds and had full which was not a huge deal but they were incredibly uncomfortable including old flat pillows or ones that smashed into nothing the second you laid down. The carpets in the halls are so old and stained and ceiling tiles are showing rust spots and multiple places where they have gotten wet, tracking is broken and tiles have holes- while paint can spruce a place up it doesn't fix things that just need replaced and really updated. The person who checked me in was very kind and even asked if I was ok with him going to grab his coat before he helped me as the lobby was so cold from the door opening.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Always had a smile and always willing to help out. The properties however, were old and very dated. Needs new carpeting throughout, fresh paint and other maintenance issues. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Unfortunate the rest of the hotel was so run down.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable! They were lumpy and frames were broken. The “pull out sofa” was more a slider futon which was stained and very dirty. It made me a little concerned to have my grandson sleep on it. We had to call and request linens and all they brought were sheets so we had to go to the desk ourselves to get blankets. For a family place and the price, I felt the upkeep should have been a lot better!!

Check in was fast and the lady was very helpful. Room was a pool level room and door did not fully latch shut, so an easy push on the door and anyone could walk in. Bathroom was not clean and flooring was starting to peel. Pool area was nice, warm and staff very friendly.

Our room felt like a hospital stay. Very dark and cold tiled floors. I may have misread expedia's booking but i thought tickets came with for adventureland. Nope, only for the pools that were over crowded.

Well we got there earlier then check in but it said online if they didnt have our room ready when we got their early we could still use the swimming pool. But, they said they had a room ready. However, there was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I didnt care too much tho since we got in early. But later we tried to get the sofa bed out and it was stuck! We figired out where it was stuck at in the frame, got it half way out, then it was stuck there and we had to do some maneuvering to get that unstuck, then maneuver it to sit flat on the floor since the leg bar thing was stuck too! We needed that bed tho because it was one adult and 5 kids. 2 people per bed. So i would stay again for sure, especially with the pool/splash area for kid's and proximity to adventureland but i do wosh they would maybe upgrade some things. Also, maybe give the workers a tour of the place. When we checked in the lady answered idk to a few too many simple questions about the hotel/facility.

We attempted to check in at 3:30 and they told us it would be 10 more minutes to get our room key they were still cleaning our room. Checked numerous times and it still wasn't available. Finally went up at 6:30 p.m., and they said our room still was not ready but they would put us in a different room if that was okay with us. Then the pool was only open until 9:30 p.m. because they wouldn't have a lifeguard. This is a hotel, post a sign to watch your children or close the baby pool. I understand it's busy and people are short-staffed, but I have never had it to this extreme before. Never even offered a refund, or a free night another time. Was only given a $50 coupon for the Spectators restaurant to use that night only. Do better.

Upon arrival phone on the floor, not hooked up. Cords exposed, hanging from the wall. Unsafe and I have a 1 year old. The cleanliness was terrible. Food splatters on the bathroom door. Refrigerator was not cold, attempted to call front desk 3 times and no answer. Walked down and the front desk was rude & sent maintenance to room and then had security follow. Maintenance guy was very rude about the temperature of the refrigerator which was at 48 degrees, no knobs on the fridge to adjust temperature. Questioned the exposed cords and having small children, maintenance said that the “owners were renovating”. Checked the bed at night and noticed blood spots for possible bed bugs. We brought it to management and they didn’t see a concern. Asked for extra towels multiple times & pillows and never received them. Didn’t come and empty garbage, we even placed on our deck for 2 days because it was overflowing and we needed it emptied. The maintenance guy said “keep complaining to the front desk maybe they’ll finally do something about the maids around here”. We will choose to stay somewhere else next time. We enjoyed the Adventureland park, but also with staying at the hotel there is no perks to even the park, shuttle wasn’t running or they didn’t have one.

Check in was ok.. Said they offer early check in, tried and said not ready. But they gave us are wrist bands so kids could swim which we were thankful for. Went to desk at 345Pm to get room still said room was not ready. Then a huge line formed we were in back of line but all of sudden room was ready within 15 mins but since they said no at 345 we couldnt even get ley till almost 430. Room was nice and clean pools were great, just wish check in went smoother

The morning of arrival they automatically charge the card you have on file to reserve the room(s). I had several rooms reserved for 2 other families. They were paying for their room at check in. Adventureland Inn deducted all the rooms from my card that i used to reserve all the rooms. Staff at checkin stated to cancel the hold charges with my card so the others could pay would take about 4 business days. They claimed it is in the condition & terms. I read it very carefully and no where it states charges will be withdrawn morning of. Also since most rooms are pool side the pool closes at 9:30. There were still kids running around screaming at almost 11pm. We & others staying at the hotel had to be up at 5am

I stay here pretty frequently and never have a problem. The rooms are always clean and the staff is usually friendly. However, this stay there was only one staff member checking in customers. We tried to check in at 3pm and was told they would contact us when our room was ready. They never contacted us. Came back to found out our room had been ready. The room was great and the hotel was clean. I just think the communication and friendly attitude was lacking this stay.

They did not have our room ready at the check in time. I was told I would get a call/text when it was ready. An hour and a half later, I went back to the desk to discover a room was finally ready. No apologies or anything. There were at least 5 dirty bandaids in the hallways and pool areas. One of which had a bloody tissue next to it in the hallway the entire stay. Staff doesn’t seems to care to pick up the trash in the hallways, just walks by it.

The beds needs to be up dated. Hallway needs a deep shampooing. The room was very clean but it didn't have a dresser to put your clothes away. I love it was so close to the Adventureland park.

The hotel is on the grounds of Adventureland Park. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The property is old and needs a lot of work. Carpet in the hall way id filfty. Our rooms were clean. They have a free breakfast until 10am that is ok. The kids also have an arcade to go to on the second floor. Two pools and two hot tubs the hot tub on the east side is not working. It is fun for kids. The beds were comfortable.

I had booked the room for the fact that you had trolley service to take you back and forth to Adventureland. All we was give was a free parking pass that we already had for the Clow Picnic. For the price of the room and no other services I could have went up the street and saved $100.00 on my room.

My family was very pleased with the child-friendly accommodations, including the two pools and video arcade. Access to Adventureland was great! Some more printed materials available in the rooms referencing hotel offerings and Adventureland offerings would have been appreciated.

There was only one ice machine that worked in the building and only one water fountain/fill area. The building doesn’t smell great and what carpet they haven't removed yet is stained and dirty looking. They no longer have the trolly to take you to the park. They do give you a parking pass, but leaving there is ridiculous. They need some type of traffic control at closing time. If you're able to walk over and back, I strongly recommend it. The restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast, making other hotels with a free breakfast a better deal. I would not consider this hotel worth the price it costs to stay there.

The place is really run down and needs updated. The main restaurant was closed the entire weekend, so breakfast was not an option. The pool bar was closed because of mechanical problems, but you had to be dry and with shoes to go to Spectators to get a drink or food. The pools were cold and dirty. There was trash on the floor in the hallways.

I thought the rooms were clean. The restaurant was way better than I expected, large menu. The west side pool was under renovation. I liked how the rooms had a hard surface floor instead of carpet. Staff wad friendly. We had a 2nd flood balcony room and it was very loud after the pool closes (to be expected for a Saturday night, we little kids though). Overall no complaints!

This place needs a remodel. The carpet in the halls are dirty, stained, and look disgusting. The swim up bar was not open at all for the 3 days we stayed. The restaurant in the hotel does not open until 11am. No breakfast of any kind on the property. This is supposed to be a resort. The arcade was not open the hours that it was supposed to be. There was someone there randomly if you were lucky. Overall the worst time. We were looking forward to being able to relax and stay on the property but we were forced to go elsewhere. There was also a party in the room next door to us that played loud music and yelling until after midnight.

Dated for sure. Rooms were clean with clean linens. Kerig did not work! No morning coffee and had to purchase at gift shop...😔 sports lounge convenient with great food options and excellent service. Checked in online and fairly quick getting room and keys...second room was for my daughter and even though her card was presented...mine was charged..?? 🤔 I would stay again. One suggestion...differentiate between adult pools or kids pool rooms on site!!

Check in was easy, the staff was nice and helpful, and we enjoyed Spectators Bar & Grill, however the beds are AWFUL, I could not sleep either night we stayed as the beds were so hard I could not get comfortable and had back pain waking me up all night both nights. Stay away from the balcony rooms, I thought it would be cool for the kids but there were toddlers and little kids running around the pool area by 6-7am screaming which echoes and you can hear everything, by 9am the pool is full and so loud. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday, there were so many parties going on Saturday that we couldn't even use the pools due to the amount of people, by 9am Sunday morning we were ready to head home.

The three pools were great. I had older kids, but they still had fun. They were out of towels Thursday night and when I was told this at the front desk, they told me to come back to get them. After much prodding, they delivered them to the pool. We were not informed that the rooms would not be restocked each day, which would have just been nice to know. We ran out of soap and when I asked about it, they told me they were out of soap at the front desk, but asked for my room number. That was Friday night and we did not see any soap. Also, to know that the pool towels were in the room already would have been nice to know at check-in, as we would have known to look/ take them with us on Wednesday night when we went to the pool the first time. Just wish there would have been better communication.
