Great short stay. Only spent a night there on my way home to Sydney after a weekend getaway. Sunday night to break the long drive home. Arrived mid afternoon which was after reception had closed for a Sunday. Not an issue as I spoke to Zach who arranged a code fo the lock box for an seamless check-in after hours (around 4pm Sunday). Room was lovely. The hotel is very quiet and I was pleasantly surprised to find a generous sized small fridge in the room with a good sized little freezer. Two complimentary bottles of chilled water was a pleasant suprise too. Will definitely stay again next time I visit the area.

The check-in staff member wasn't friendly, the coffee satchels were not replenished, there were no biscuits, room was tiny, the carpet smelt, the bin was disgusting. Very expensive for what it was.

Pleasant spot, easy to park. Wonderful in that there are windows to open both ends of accommodation. Room was adequate, although on the smaller side, thoughtfully equiped for snacking. Beds comfortable. Good value for money considering this highly popular location.

Building looks like it is of 60s or 70s vintage. But has been renovated and is in a great location. Was a bit nostalgic staying there. Room was great, clean, modern and comfortable. Good value, great location and we would definitely stay again.

Nice welcome when we arrived. Room clean and tidy. Our bathroom was very small, our friends room was smaller but the bathroom was larger. Shower head was great, very powerful.

Nice place to stay but it was very small. Nowhere in the bathroom to put anything as there was no shelf or space around the sink. There was no plug for the sink so couldn’t wash the cups etc very well. The room was very hot and we don’t like running the air conditioning all night. Being only a queen sized bed meant it was difficult for one person to throw off the blanket without putting it on top of the other person. Lovely staff. Check-in was easy. Cleaning staff very nice too.

I booked last minute and arrived around 6.15/6.30pm. The office was closed however upon ringing the number on the door a very helpful after hours service chap gave me the locked box code and my room key dropped down. The only thing I didn’t like was having to give my CC number over the phone to the chap, despite the booking was already paid thru Hotels.com. When I questioned he said it was in case I damaged the room!

Very impressed by the attention to cleanliness. Is an older style of property with everything working including the hot water. Plenty of food outlets in the township, so no need for breakfast in house when the scenery is so special down by the water.

Motel 617 was in walking distance to a local fish and chip shop, corner store and bottle shop. The accommodation was adequate for our needs. Perhaps designated parking bays for each unit would make parking easier.

Quiet. Plenty of water in the shower - great flow. We enjoyed it and fun to sit outside the room with a beer watching police breath test drivers. We could walk to the main tourist activities - get your steps up and a little bit of gentle hill climb.

Have stayed here a few times on my way from the South Coast of NSW travelling back to Sydney. Staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Hotel is well equipped and my room had a lovely shower with decent water pressure. Internet is complimentary and I streamed video from Tubi and YouTube with no buffering throughout my stay. Have thouroughly enjoyed my stay here on each occasion and will definitely stay here again.
