It was a great hotel to stay at with a parking spot (additional charge) located in Old Quebec. Parking was at the back of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and courteous. The hotel was very clean. Our one bedroom room was just the right size for the 2 of us with a bonus step out terrace as we stayed on the 2nd floor. Note, no elevators at the hotel so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room. Breakfast (freshly baked croissiont, yogurt, coffee, juice) was included and we chose to have it delivery to our room. You could reserve the sauna for a charge but we had no time. Great hotel and too bad we only stayed one night.

Awesome location and nice use of space for the design of the room. Great staff and great to provide paid parking in downtown Old Town. Only downer is no elevator.

Hotel Nomad is perfectly situated in Vieux Quebec. Steps from Chateau Frontenac and the Upper City. Ours was a family trip, so we all stayed in the Thematic rooms on the first floor. Room 18, which was ours, was a tad tight (seemingly the smallest of the three Thematic rooms), but otherwise quite cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely tiled, with a great shower. The larger front parlor gave us a gathering place in the evening for games, or just sitting and relaxing as a whole family. Having private parking on-prem was a big plus, but if you drive a large vehicle, expect to have an adventure fitting into some of the spaces. Definitely recommend!!

The location of the property is wonderful and it is within walking distance of major Quebec City attractions. We had 2 rooms reserved. The first floor thematic room was very nice. The second floor standard room was very tiny. It appeared to be a converted mildew scented attic room. The steps to reach it were very steep, curvy, and narrow. It was very dangerous for my elderly parents we booked it for.

Very convenient location to the boardwal in old Quebec.The rooms were adequate. Very clean and well appointed. My only caution would be there are no elevatorz and the stairs are weindy.

The continental breakfast was good and had the best croissants that I have ever had. The parking was easy. The lot is located directly behind the hotel. And the bilingual staff was excellent.

Property is very cool! Literally a historical wonder. The rooms are super modern for the look of getting there. Heat pumps in each room, bed was good too! Parking is a bit tricky. Do a U turn when you hit the property and 3 lefts, where you have to back into your spot. Quebec had just gotten a bunch of snow, so it was challenging with the accumulation. Not the hotels fault per se but the parking lot had not been cleared. Overall great stay and beautiful place

Fantastic service from the good people at the Nomad Hotel. They even encouraged me as I attempted my high school French. The hotel has old-world charm and is tastefully updated. Our room was incredibly clean, and surprisingly quiet despite being on the ground floor. The location was great for being able to access all that Old Quebec has to offer. Thanks for such a great stay.

An old house turned into a boutique hotel. Staff attentive and polite, right across the Fairmont and just a few blocks from the Quebec epicenter. Can’t give all the stars I would like when rooms are not well cleaned (you can step into debris when you walk barefoot inside your room). You need to place a “service” sign in your room door if you want it serviced, if you forget, they won’t do it. Staff will leave after 8 pm and you are on your own. Parking is around the block and not connected to the property which is not convenient and there is no elevator, meaning that if you are not on the first floor, you will have to carry all your luggage 2 or 3 floors up, so plan accordingly. For $375 tax & fees we were expecting more.

Beautiful hotel that has all the conveniences of a modern hotel (except an elevator). Excellent staff, super clean rooms, top notch high speed internet, all at the top of the hill in Old Quebec City. We brought our car and parked at the hotel, but for our entire stay we walked everywhere! The car didn't move until our trip was over. See the entire city as soon as you walk out the front door of the hotel.....restaurants, museums, gift shops, tours, Hotel Frontenac, all within close walking distance from the hotel.

10/10 for both location and quiet. Room 19. now that’s a different story . No fridge , no coffee maker in the room, the closet was a foot and a half long closet, 3 small drawers, no place for luggage without tripping . The room is very , small with one chair and one small puff stool. The biggest issue was, the damp , the dehumidifier on the A/C did not work , so the A/C just blew wet cool air. Out side patio access, was only through an oversized window (you had to bend crawl through , it’s where we dried our clothes. The smell of either mildew or just dampness was over powering. Now to be fair, we were offered an upgrade weeks before our arrival , we didn’t take it because we didn’t know what room we were updating from and room we were updating to. Just so you know nobody is on staff after 9 P.m so you are on your own with every other guest in the building is that even legal? Had a great time in the city but this room was a huge let down ! Too bad the potential was missed, if you are a senior like us, this might not be the place for you . Plenty of others to choose from. For 1500+ for 5 nights you can do better. In all our worldly travels this is one of the most disappointing . Too bad Room 19, the potential is huge and so was the oversight.

Small and unique property. We stayed in the last room available and it was right next to the concierge. A bit noisy at times due to the room being on the first floor and beside the main door but overall the ambience was nice and unique. Only concern was the AC in the room did not function properly and my wife found it a bit warm at night. Parking was extra but worth it since it is behind the hotel in a private space. Walking distance to all the attractions and nestled in a quiet street right next to the US Consulate and the Fairmont Hotel.

Room 18, which was ours, was a tad tight (seemingly the smallest of the three Thematic rooms), but otherwise quite cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely tiled, with a great shower. The larger front parlor gave us a gathering place in the evening for games, or just sitting and relaxing as a whole family. Having private parking on-prem was a big plus, but if you drive a large vehicle, expect to have an adventure fitting into some of the spaces. Definitely recommend!!

Amazing location, super walkable to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel itself was very nice and well kept, easy access to the parking lot. Very quiet. Only amenity that was lacking was the wifi (very spotty connection) which was hard since mobile date was also limited in the area.

The location of the property is wonderful and it is within walking distance of major Quebec City attractions. We had 2 rooms reserved. The first floor thematic room was very nice. The second floor standard room was very tiny. It appeared to be a converted mildew scented attic room. The steps to reach it were very steep, curvy, and narrow. It was very dangerous for my elderly parents we booked it for.

Wife and I had the most incredible stay at the Nomad. The room was so cozy, clean, and exactly as described. We also got lucky with a great room theme - it’s exactly what my wife wanted. The decor was incredible all around the hotel and in the room too. The washroom was fantastic and so luxurious. The products they provide are also fantastic - all natural and smell amazing. The staff is great and very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags there early cause our flight got in early before check in. We were also able to leave our bags late on our check out day because our flight left late. The sound proofing in the rooms isn’t great but honestly not that bad at night. The TV system they used (a system wired to their TV to make it smart) wasn’t great either but the TV itself was nice. To be honest, we were exploring quebec city so much we barely used it so not a big deal. The hotel has great access to all of old Quebec city. It’s also in a relatively quiet area so it’s nice at night. We will absolutely be coming back again! Couldn’t have asked for a more romantic getaway in Quebec City.

Fantastic service from the good people at the Nomad Hotel. They even encouraged me as I attempted my high school French. The hotel has old-world charm and is tastefully updated. Our room was incredibly clean, and surprisingly quiet despite being on the ground floor. The location was great for being able to access all that Old Quebec has to offer. Thanks for such a great stay.

An old house turned into a boutique hotel. Staff attentive and polite, right across the Fairmont and just a few blocks from the Quebec epicenter. Can’t give all the stars I would like when rooms are not well cleaned (you can step into debris when you walk barefoot inside your room). You need to place a “service” sign in your room door if you want it serviced, if you forget, they won’t do it. Staff will leave after 8 pm and you are on your own. Parking is around the block and not connected to the property which is not convenient and there is no elevator, meaning that if you are not on the first floor, you will have to carry all your luggage 2 or 3 floors up, so plan accordingly. For $375 tax & fees we were expecting more.

Excellent location, a short walk (5 minutes) from the main street with restaurants and the water front. We were two couples in the two Junior Suites at half-basement level. This was good and very convenient. The beds were medium soft and comfortable. Breakfast was not worth having. The main problem was something basically scandalous. Only when we were checking out did the hotel manager tell us that the room rates (already very high) we had booked with Hotels.com were wrong and considerably higher. My friend did not seem to absorb this and gave his credit card, which was charged hundreds of dollars more than the published rates. At no time before this checkout were we told about this. This is bad practice of the worst kind.

While this hotel is conveniently located and in a quiet part of town — for the price they make sure to provide the least amount of amenity or service possible. We even had an issue with housekeeping not knocking and barging in on us well before 10am. As we are staying in Canada for three weeks we had a lot of luggage, there was no offer during check in or out regarding help with our bags… and because we checked in late they basically left a key in a safe and left you to fend for yourself. Young lady ran the wrong card as well during check out even though I specifically asked to change it before we left. She ran it unauthorized. If you are looking for a relaxing experience or even one of ease or luxury, I would not stay here. Also not handicap accessible in the slightest.

Beautiful hotel that has all the conveniences of a modern hotel (except an elevator). Excellent staff, super clean rooms, top notch high speed internet, all at the top of the hill in Old Quebec City. We brought our car and parked at the hotel, but for our entire stay we walked everywhere! The car didn't move until our trip was over. See the entire city as soon as you walk out the front door of the hotel.....restaurants, museums, gift shops, tours, Hotel Frontenac, all within close walking distance from the hotel.

There’s no coffee or fridge in the room but coffee and a continental breakfast (separate charge) was available. The hotel did provide a small fridge to our friends who needed to store medication. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We would stay there again.

We loved this little hotel. The staff members we met were very nice, friendly and professional. Our room on the 2nd floor was lovely. We even had a cool outdoor space to sit. We had a cool chandelier over the bed and i felt like a princess. The location it just across the park beside Chateau Frontenac which is a great location to be. They have a parking lot for $28 a day. I think the only con would be the bathroom. Its small which didnt bother us but might be tight for others. And the vanity is in the room not in the bathroom. I think all the other qualities make up for it. Especially the outdoor space. First hotel that we have stayed at that had one.

Jolie petite chambre décorée sur le thème nautique, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la salle de douche moderne et la literie confortable. Hôtel très bien situé avec possibilité du service en chambre pour le petit-déjeuner (12$ par personne pour une boisson froide et chaude, 2 viennoiseries et 1 yaourt). A noter toutefois qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenseur, les escaliers sont raides. Mention spéciale à l'accueil et la gentille réceptionniste d'Angers très sympathique.

Lovely quaint hotel, centrally located up in Old Québec City. Room was nicely decorated and had the bonus of a terrace - ideal to relax on after a days sightseeing! Tasty continental breakfast included as part of our VIP rating. Would definitely recommend.

It was a great hotel to stay at with a parking spot (additional charge) located in Old Quebec. Parking was at the back of the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and courteous. The hotel was very clean. Our one bedroom room was just the right size for the 2 of us with a bonus step out terrace as we stayed on the 2nd floor. Note, no elevators at the hotel so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to our room. Breakfast (freshly baked croissiont, yogurt, coffee, juice) was included and we chose to have it delivery to our room. You could reserve the sauna for a charge but we had no time. Great hotel and too bad we only stayed one night.

There is a beautiful parc right beside it and it is also close to the Citadel and the boardwalk by the St. Lawrence River. Staff is friendly. Rooms are cute. Breakfast could be much improved. Only milk was offered with coffee, no fresh coffee cream or cream. What about butter? It’s good with a delicious croissant. Also, there was no kettle in the room which means getting your hot water from the dispenser. That is all good but the cups didn’t have handles and it is not easy to carry cups without handles full of hot water . Just provide better cups. Bed and bedding were great.

Loved this boutique hotel. We had our breakfast delivered to our room on the first morning and it was delicious. Our room was stunning and although the hotel is a close walk from everything it’s beautifully quiet. Highly recommend

Cozy beautiful boutique hotel in great location in Old Quebec City, only 3 min walk to Chateau Frontenac. Hotel has convenient parking next to the building. The bilingual staff are very friendly and helpful. 5 stars!!!

Location was great if you want to spend time in the old city. As close to everything as imaginable. Only issue was the room size (very tight with nowhere for the suitcase) and our room was right on the lobby floor which led to lots of noise and no privacy. My sense is that other rooms might have been better on one or the other factor. Breakfast was simple pastry/croissant/coffee/juice but good.

The hotel is lovely, but expectations should be considered because it is a very old building. Rooms are small, but very efficient and clean. Bathroom is small, but very new and also efficient. Lobby is a little tired, but clean. The staff was very helpful and extremely courteous. Location is awesome. Near the promonade/boardwalk. I would stay there again.
