Wi-Fi doesn’t always work. Beds are very hard.. You get two sheets for your blanket. The only way to lock the door is with the key.. This could be dangerous in case of a fire. Bathroom had a horrible smell. Tub has a rounded bottom, making it very difficult to stand. There is no shower curtain so the ceramic tile will get wet and slippery. Only place that is air-conditioned is the bedroom. The bathroom, the kitchen and the sitting area are very hot and stuffy. Bathroom is located across the hall which you need a key to access as well. We’ve been to Italy many times and this is truly the worst hotel/room that we’ve had and we paid just as much if not more for this room.

The rook was clean and a great size with heating and fans so will be able to be comfortable through all weather. Marco, the main staff I dealt with, is an extremely nice guy and helpful, giving me a map and explaining the city. All other staff I dealt with were also extremely helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect only being a 3 minute walk to the Duomo and being in the centre so anywhere you want to go is only a short walk. Overall an amazing place to stay if you are coming to experience Florence

Helpful, friendly staff. Spotless room, comfy bed with proper ventilation. Feels safe around hotel location, bright street lights and no one hanging around at night. Duomo is about a 5-minute walk and dome is very much visible out my window.

Clean room, but no way to lock the door unless you use the key from inside. Using the washroom also needed a key every time. Clean place however.

The hotel is on the second floor above. Thankfully there is a small elevator. Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff. You can rent a room or a whole apartment. Somehow we ended up with the whole apartment. It was great, spacious, had a kitchen with full fridge and washing machine. Just down the street where a bunch of restaurants. Neighborhood was safe and walkable, centrally located. I would definitely stay there again.
