Wonderful ocean views, convenient parking, and excellent breakfast buffet. We would have liked to use the beach; unfortunately that was impossible due to tides, waves, and the very narrow strip of actual sandy beach. But it was great to watch the waves crashing on the cliffs from the various outdoor seating/lounging areas.

I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel il Nido. The views of the ocean were stunning from the restaurant at the hotel and from sunning deck, which were just down some steps as you head down toward the beach. The beach is small and only accessible when it is low tide, but the views are stunning. The rooms were nice and clean and the views from our hotel room were nice. You could see the ocean but there were electrical wires that were in the way of the view. If you are driving a car, you definitely want to stay here as parking in this area is a premium, and they have a lot of parking space, up on the hill behind the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and hotel staff was so helpful. The hotel is on the side of a hill, so there are steps that you need to go down to get to the reception area. There are several nearby restaurants that are within walking distance of about a block or less.

Room was ok sized, a bit smaller than anticipated (three bedrom - panorama, sea view), but the big balcony and view was amazing. Nice beach access and free to borrow kayaks. Breakfast was good with the basic necessities, big plus for pancakes! Good location, short walk to Tellaro. Tellaro is a beautiful small town similar to Cinqe Terre, but less crowded and cheaper food. Several restaurants located between the hotel and Tellaro. Also easy to take the bus to Lerici. Note: This hotel has a lot of stairs, so not recommended for people with disabilities. Also not allowed to have privat food in the fridge in the room.

A true gem along the Italian coast - both the hotel and the small town of Tellaro. Both highly recommend. The hotel is situated right on a small beach and is very secluded. The room we had was very simple, but had everything we needed and was spotless and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You get a free workout with all the stairs. And it is an easy walk from the hotel to several nice restaurants and bars nearby.

Positives: Lovely and helpful staff. Gorgeous views of the Med from the dining room. Breakfast had a lovely selection. Room and working air conditioning and a decent size safe for valuables. Drawbacks: Shower stall could use a deep cleaning to get rid of the heavy mildew in the tile grout, Bed is a bit unsupportive. Stairs all over the property making this property not accessible to individuals with mobility concerns.

Vi bodde där i en vecka och hade balkong med utsikt över havet. Det var fantastiskt. Hade vi inte haft det hade vi inte varit lika nöjda. Rummet var väldigt litet och även badrummet men det vägdes upp av balkongen. Många trappsteg ner till den privata lilla stranden. Fanns solstolar på olika terassplan så det räckte. Man fick fritt låna kajak vilket var super! Frukosten helt ok men inga grönsaker och väldigt få charkuterier med tanke på att vi var i Italien. Minus att man inte fick förvara något i minibaren som ändå inte hade ngt i sig mer än två små flaskor vatten. Vi är ändå väldigt nöjda och omgivningen är väldigt vacker och lugn

Beautiful views. However rooms, at least our disappointing panoramic sea view room, can be very different from the hotel pictures. Suggest inquire prior to arrival. Also rooms can be across the street in separate building. Surrounding area has nice restaurants and friendly staff, less so at this property. Many flights of stairs.

The location is good and I like the private beach area. The room I was in could have been better for the price. TV was attach in a way that you cannot watch it. Some noises from the bathroom alarm all night, WiFi terrible not working the majority of the time ( connected but not able to surf). Just a small note: in Italy you need a real coffee machine. Not an automatic one or a capsule one.

The room we had was very simple, but had everything we needed and was spotless and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You get a free workout with all the stairs. Fantastic service, all personnel was SO nice and helpful. The view is amazing. The only thing to complain about is that the other guest put their towels on the few sunbeds early in the morning and then they didn’t lay there. Maybe hard for the hotel to keep track on this buy maybe the lifeguard could remove towels after a while. The sunbeds were occupied with towels for the whole day and there were no one lying there.

Room was ok sized, a bit smaller than anticipated (three bedrom - panorama, sea view), but the big balcony and view was amazing. Nice beach access and free to borrow kayaks. Breakfast was good with the basic necessities, big plus for pancakes! Good location, short walk to Tellaro. Tellaro is a beautiful small town similar to Cinqe Terre, but less crowded and cheaper food. Several restaurants located between the hotel and Tellaro. Also easy to take the bus to Lerici. Note: This hotel has a lot of stairs, so not recommended for people with disabilities. Also not allowed to have privat food in the fridge in the room.

Negativt: På Hotels sine nettsider står det at det er både strandbar og tilgang på Kayak under oppholdet men dette var ikke tilgjengelig etter 1 oktober. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel il Nido. The views of the ocean were stunning from the restaurant at the hotel and from sunning deck, which were just down some steps as you head down toward the beach. The beach is small and only accessible when it is low tide, but the views are stunning. The rooms were nice and clean and the views from our hotel room were nice. You could see the ocean but there were electrical wires that were in the way of the view. If you are driving a car, you definitely want to stay here as parking in this area is a premium, and they have a lot of parking space, up on the hill behind the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and hotel staff was so helpful. The hotel is on the side of a hill, so there are steps that you need to go down to get to the reception area. There are several nearby restaurants that are within walking distance of about a block or less.

From our room,15, the view was spectacular. I could lie in bed and see the sun setting behind Porto Venere. It's an older property but generally well maintained. Staff are like a family and will do everything they can to make your stay a good experience, as long as you are respectful. Maxes, Mario, Francescas, Petro and all the team were warm, friendly and fun. We went in spring and the jasmine was in full fragrance, so lovely. There's some nice restaurants just 50m down the road and another 200m brings you to Tellaro centre, a small but nice village. It's a narrow windy road in and there's a lot of stairs at I'll Nido, so if you're averse to either, then this place is not for you. But if you don't mind stairs and like it off the way gems, then this place should be on your list. Loved our stay and would love to go back.
