The New England Motor Lodge is the nicest motel in Glen Innes hands down. The restaurant meals we had were amazing. The bed in our room left a lot to be desired, it may be time to upgrade the beds. The pool was lovely for an afternoon swim and the rooms were clean and tidy with fresh towels for day 2.

Everything about this motel was extraordinary. The best motel we have ever stayed in. The staff offered exceptional customer service. From those on front reception to the staff in the restaurant they were amazing. The accomodation was warm, secure and well furnished in a French style. The king bed so comfortable and the bonus was that it had an electric blanket. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The water pressure was excellent providing wonderful hot showers. Car parking was conveniently located directly outside accomodation door. We have always said NEVER eat in a motel restaurant. We changed our minds last evening for the interior was stylish and the food as good as you would receive at a top quality restaurant. In all our stay at the New England Motor Lodge was fabulous. This motel IS NOT part of a chain. A credit to the family who own and run it. Highly recommend a stay there for anyone visiting Glen Innis

Room was clean and comfortable bed but booked expecting buffet breakfast but instead offered choice of one plate and drink for $25 but having said that the restaurant itself was relaxing fantastic ambience and classy decorated plus Delaney the waitress was extremely professional and pleasant great pool area shame too cold to enjoy wouldn’t hesitate in returning in future

Pleasantly surprised by the style and condition of this motel and restaurant. The open fire and decor were very welcoming on a cold and frosty night. Will definitely stay here again. Very little road noise too and a King bed!

Second time we have stayed here, off the Main Road, nice King room and great ambience in the bar. It’s obviously hard to find good chefs in regional areas, so won’t be too harsh but our meal was drowned in sauces, not very nice. It’s convenient but I don’t think I’ll eat in the restaurant again.

The shower needs attention – the head sprays like a fire hose, and since the shower isn’t enclosed, water ends up all over the bathroom floor. To make matters worse, only a couple of towels were provided, which wasn’t nearly enough to dry the floor properly.

We stayed again last year and being very happy, decided to stay there again this year. Being 3 x couples, we booked what rooms were available with 2 x being the standard Everything met out needs including their beautiful restaurant -so elegant in its decoration and the food was lovely. Staff very helpful and polite My only comment would be the Queen rooms were compact compared to the twin room for the price and the blow dryer not powerful enough and cut out too quickly due to its wattage. Regardless we will stay there next time-maybe the things i pointed out might be considered esp for return patrons.

Property was well located and has good dining options within walking distance. There is an on-site restaurant that I didn’t use as it was closed. I was told the chef had Covid. When asked if the hotel was notifying guests, the reception staff said it wasn’t their requirement to do so.

The extreme cleanliness is welcome, as are the attentive and unobtrusive staff. The restaurant quality is memorable. The motel is my preferred stop in the whole region.

Property was well located and has good dining options within walking distance. There is an on-site restaurant that I didn’t use as it was closed. I was told the chef had Covid. When asked if the hotel was notifying guests, the reception staff said it wasn’t their requirement to do so.

Second time we have stayed here, off the Main Road, nice King room and great ambience in the bar. It’s obviously hard to find good chefs in regional areas, so won’t be too harsh but our meal was drowned in sauces, not very nice. It’s convenient but I don’t think I’ll eat in the restaurant again.

A fabulous motel to stay at. Comfortable, clean and a great restaurant with delicious food. An extra bonus is that they have an ev charger. More motels should think about chargers for EV future. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. It was huge! Lots of space, comfortable beds and super clean. Second time staying here and would definitely stay again.

We choose to break our journey to/from Queensland in Glen Innes just to stay at this very comfortable motel with excellent dining room. The ground floor rooms with parking outside are comfortably furnished. Bathrooms, with walk-in shower, are fresh and clean and dinner in the restaurant is always delicious. Air-conditioning was adequate for the chilly winter night in the high country. We always check that aircon and electric blankets are working well as soon as we arrive. A comfortable courtyard motel, with parking outside the room and top-notch dining on-site is a rare find in a country town. We will return on our next trip.
